Hannah was wonderful with our fur babies! They tend to be very shy around new people but warmed up to Hannah quickly. She was very attentive to Neve during a storm and to Beetle when she stepped on a bee. And sent cute photos which we appreciated! Will happily have her back!

Megan was dependable, communicative, friendly, and over all a pleasure to interact with. We had great communication and I felt very comfortable entrusting our animals to her. She was very responsive during the sit and offered to go the extra mile for us when we thought we might be away an extra night. I would say your house and home are in good hands with Megan

Lorraine house-sat for us for 10 days and watched our beloved pets. The house was spotless when we returned. While house sitting, she took excellent care of our two little Schnauzers, Heidi and Belle and frequently sent us photos and updates. She walked the dogs frequently and also cleaned up the yard. We are so happy that our dogs got to stay in their home while we were out of town with such a wonderful caretaker. I highly recommend Lorraine. She is a lovely person and we hope to have her again.

Absolutely wonderful having Loran & Tom return to sit for us, the 2 older dogs remembered them and it was like they'd never been away. Loran & Tom are kind, helpful, very self sufficient and can't do enough for the dogs. There was lots of communication and photos whilst we were away and although we were not worried at all it's always lovely to see how the dogs are getting on. I can't recommend Loran & Tom enough and hope that they will return to sit again

Laura and Michael and their two sons, Samuel and Sebastian, watched our place while we visited our daughter in Portland OR. They arrived the day before we left to get aquatinted with the house and the animals. Our location was convenient for the family because Michael was participating in a seniors track meet at UVA. While we were gone there was an animal emergency which required a trip to the vet for Abby, one of our dogs. Laura kept us informed regularly on the status of Abby which was comforting. We have one challenging young dog (Rosita) who has enough energy for five dogs. Laura and the boys handled her with grace and firm, consistent love. I think, based on pics sent to me, that Samuel and Sebastian bonded well with her. All of our other animals (cats, fish, chickens) were also well looked after. The house was clean and tidy when we returned home and a bottle of wine awaited us on the kitchen table. Laura and Michael have a lovely family. We enjoyed their company and our home will always be open for them. I neglected to ask Michael about his success at the track meet. It was quite a hot week.

CJ watched my dog for a week and was very go with the flow! My dog can be a lot to handle (he’s a puppy) and CJ handled him with grace! He sent pictures to update me throughout the week of their walks. When I came back from my trip my house was spotless - he even washed the sheets which I do not expect! He left a sweet note and a guest book as well which I thought was extremely thoughtful!

Christina did a great job of taking care of Rosie and Louie! She had excellent communication and I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Leslie was an absolutely wonderful sitter. She obviously truly loves spending time with animals and my cats were relaxed and very happy campers on my return. She sent fun and informative texts and pictures of the kitties at play. The house was spotless on my return and she took excellent care of everything while I was away. I would ask her back in a heartbeat.

Matthew and Sydney were exceptional pet/housesitters. If we were to grade them, we would give them an A+. They excelled in every category. They communicated prior to the sit, they arrived right on time, they communicated frequently with texts and photos while we were gone, they walked all of dogs every day, and they took care of our “kids” and home as if it was their own. In addition, they were just the nicest, most delightful couple and we were thrilled to have them in our home and looking after our pets. Even the neighbors commented on how impressed they were with Matthew and Sydney. We would highly recommend them with not one bit of hesitation, and we would be thrilled to have sit for us any time in the future. They are the greatest!

Chris and Bret arrived a day before our early morning departure. This gave time for a visit, meet Benji and familiarize with the house. It was a delightful visit and we were very pleased Chris and Bret choose to housesit for us. They are pleasant, intelligent and conscientious—we knew Benji and our home would be in good hands while away. There were daily communications, and the house was not only left in perfect condition, they went beyond what was expected. Actually, they rate above the five-star review. It would be our good fortune if they return someday.

Courtney was fantastic. This was my first time using a dog sitter and I was anxious. Buster is 16 years old and requires meds and tons of company to alleviate anxiety. Courtney was great with Buster, took great care with his meds/walks, etc. She is a joy to deal with, extremely communicative and my house was in better order when I got home from my trip than when I left it! I was lucky to get her -- and you will be, too. Fingers crossed she is available the next time I need someone!
