Amelia and Goktug are great hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and helpful with getting around. Thanks for a lot of recommendations of places to eat and to visit. I'm pretty sure the guys could write a guidebook about Istanbul and their home area, in particular. 😁 Amelia and Goktug are not only fantastic hosts but also astonishing companions. It's very interesting to talk to them. The area is super safe. There's a really short walk to Bosphorus with lots of cafes nearby. It's good in terms of public transport accessibility but bear in mind all these hills 🙃 Finally, our stars, Rumela and Gizmo. They both are loving and affectionate but in a different way. Rumela is the ultimate house cat and a princess. She can be by herself for a few hours but then there will be a splash of love 💕 She likes being petted and lying next to you. She loves physical contact. Gizmo likes to follow you be it bedroom, kitchen or the toilet. So you will never be alone. And might god help you if you went to the kitchen and didn't bring any treats or food for Gizmo 😁He will try to block your way out so you can reconsider your decision. Gizmo used to sleep on me all the time. And he likes to lick people's ears 😅 They both like to play with their toys but it turned out that shoelace lace gives them a lot of excitement. Overall it was an amazing stay. I highly recommend grabbing it if available. I miss these cats already 💔
We had a great time sitting with Heidi and Cecily. They are both young, playful cats with lots of personality. They loved playing with their fishing toy and weren’t shy about telling us when it was time to play again. Heidi snuggled with us to watch TV in the evenings and Cecily would sleep close by in the cat bed. Jane, Daniel and Samuel provided a very comprehensive Welcome Guide prior to our sit (one of the best we have seen). We had a thorough walk through with them before the start of the sit and they answered all of our questions. Their home is very clean and comfortable and is close to a green belt with a variety of walking trails. Thank you Jane, Daniel and Samuel for all of the preparations you did prior to our arrival and for the lovely basket of goodies. We would enjoy sitting with Heidi and Cecily again if our schedules match up.
Richard, Samantha and Lyra were very welcoming and informative, and Zeus and Pan are lovely moggies. They are very well located for easy access to the centre of Oxford. I look forward to another opportunity to be with Zeus and Pan.
Annie is a sweet older cat, though shy and slow to warm up. Rachel's home is very pleasant, full of art and plants, and orderly, clean, and quiet. Communication via text was prompt and easy. A very nice sit!
We had a wonderful time looking after Toots and Marv in Rose’s lovely cottage. The cats are real characters and kept us entertained! The neighbourhood is fantastic and we can recommend the Heaton pub and the pizzas and cocktails at Black Spot Pizza. Thanks Rose for a great pet sit and we definitely recommend your boys and home to future pet sitters.
