Veronica was a great person for my Brin. They found a rhythm together, and I loved getting the updates and photos of "my Squish" while I was away. I returned home not only to a happy puppy, but also a clean house and a dinner treat waiting for me! I believe anyone who wants someone truly well invested into their pets' well being would be wise to invite Veronica to sit for their fur babies.
We had a great time at Sue’s home in Chiswick! Riff raff and Heather are very sweet and love to lounge around the house and be cuddled. Riff raff needs eye drops 5 times a day so it was important to be home lots. Sues home is very comfortable and is close to lots of walking routes ( by the Thames, Chiswick House) that are fun to explore. The instructions were very detailed and we stayed in communication with Sue everyday by sending photo updates.
I had an AMAZING stay with Kona and Hana! They are the friendliest, silliest dogs you will ever meet - and so well trained! Mary was extremely welcoming as well, anyone would be lucky to stay here!
I had a great time sitting for Theresa and Mark, they were the perfect hosts and I was made to feel very welcome. Never having looked after goats or chickens before, I arrived a day early to find out all about the animals and house and what would be needed. Mark and Theresa showed me everything I needed to know and provided a lot of local information so I could make the most of my stay. They have everything well organised so the day to day care was easier than I was expecting and it left me plenty of time to enjoy the area. The animals are all very friendly and I enjoyed looking after them, even cleaning out the goats. The most difficult part of the stay was trying to think of ways to use all the eggs! The house is in a great location for exploring the south of Cornwall, with many beaches, the coastal path, and National trust sites within short drives. The house itself is a characterful farm cottage which was very cosy and had everything I needed. I will hopefully be able to have another stay at this wonderful location.
Stuart and Lu are a wonderful couple. We felt so at home with them straight away. They made us a welcome dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed and they even allowed us to extend our stay to fit in with our travel plans. Their love for Boris is heartwarming, it’s not a wonder she is such a healthy, affectionate 17 year old cat. We would highly recommend sitting for Stuart and Lu for so many reasons. Stuart and Lu’s communication with us was excellent. Their pristine home is perfect for house sitters, it is in a heavenly part of France. An immaculate but thoroughly welcoming, well lived in home. Boris is such a lucky cat, she has a wonderful existence. Stuart and Lu have the home so well set up for her, it is so easy to step in and care for her as a result. The welcome guide we were provided was excellent. Thank you Stuart, Lu and of course Boris for letting us get to know you. We had such a lovely stay and would love to see you again in the future. Monique was an amazing host, always available in case you have questions, and it was perfect to meet before starting the house sitting to get to know Mila. Mila takes some time to warm up and get to know, but once that is over, she has so much live to give you. I had a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to sit Mila again.
