Lovely people and pets - Amigo is the sweetest boy and so are the kitties. Scooter is a puppy knucklehead but very sweet and cuddly. The location was perfect for exploring a bunch of state parks, Monterey and Santa Cruz. Awesome opportunity!
How to start... It was our best THS’s experience. We spent 2 months in Dee and Scott's house during their trip to Asia. They are adorable people, very welcoming. Thanks to them we lived fantastic things in Salmon Arm, a charming little town, with a wonderfull lake where we spent time with Ruby, their dog, very playful, so funny. Magog, their cat, is the cuddliest cat in the world. They are so easy to love, we quickly became attached to their. We loved our daily life with them. Dee and Scott are very open-minded people, communication was very easy despite our little English. We felt like home. The house is magnificent, warmly decorated, with all the amenities we needed and even more! We were able to renovate our van thanks to their tools. We were able to use their car. We were able to find work, make friends... In short it was an incredible life experience, it was even better than expected and all thanks to their generosity! Thank’s for everything
Riley and the home were an absolute pleasure to sit for. Riley is very shy at first but once you give her a few treats and gentle pets she starts to warm up day by day. The last day I watched her she ended up jumping in my bed and cuddling with me! The house backyard was perfect for fetch and there is a water canal and park nearby! Overall wonderful experience and felt super comfortable staying in the house from day 1. Thanks again!
Wayne and Joan were fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming and the pets were phenomenal. We loved our time there they have a beautiful home and spent time with their friends in their absence. Seda and Oso are well trained pets and very intelligent. We enjoyed all the time we spent with them. They are so loving with humans but dogs can be a bit of a challenge. They are two of our most special pets ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Even if you don't have an affinity for pugs like I do you will fall in love with this sweet girl. Tallulah is well trained, sweet as can be & quite hysterical! I had so much fun with her & you will too. From tug of war to lots of snuggles to front or back patio or the upstairs deck hanging out she was a fun and an easy sit. I am going to miss her I know. He pet mom is such a doll and all info I needed was there. Terra was just a text away day or night. Not to mention a sparkling clean house & flowers for me!
Past reviews from pet sitters say it all! Zoe and David are a lovely couple, welcoming, warm, relaxed and extremely hospitable. I arrived day before house sit so Zoe could run through all I needed to know to care for the '3 Musketeers'. David prepared a delicious supper and I was invited to join them for a social evening with friends. Waffle, Womble and Monty Dog were absolutely adorable and such easy dogs to look after and walk. They love cuddles and sleeping and are not demanding in any way. Zoe and David have a stunningly unique house and my bed was super comfy. Their garden is very wooded, private and peaceful and if the weather hadn't been so cold I would have loved to sit out and enjoy the surroundings. Zoe kindly picked me up from the airport and dropped me back to train station on my day of departure. For those without a car, less than five minute walk to bus stop with service running towards metro for Brussels and Leuven which should not be missed. This was a first class pet sit and would highly recommend. Missing the Musketeers and the enjoyable time we spent together. Thanks Zoe and David for choosing me on this occasion and again for the pressies.
