We are so appreciative to have had the opportunity for Maureen to watch our boy for our first experience with the house sitters app. Since we are fairly local, Maureen came out to meet Maverick and I a week before we would be out of town and he he was a fan instantly. Maverick got so much play and cuddle time with her and she sent regular check-ins with pictures to show how happy he was. Maverick absolutely loved spending time with her, so much so that he was so disappointed she didn’t come back when we got home! Can’t say enough great things here, we absolutely hope to work with Maureen again in the future!

This is the fourth time Pamela has sat for us. Our dog Roxie loves her, Pam takes her on adventures ( even if it’s just a car ride), keeps to her food regime, exercises her and gives her all the love she wants. Pamela is always sure that Roxie is safe.
Our home has a lot of plants, and we are under drought water restrictions. Pam does an excellent job making sure the plants in pots and in the ground are healthy and watered enough. She keeps an eye on the greenhouses, and caught an auto watering problem. She troubleshoot it with us over the phone, and we decided that she would hit the manual button for the duration of the sit. This averted a real crisis!
I am very happy with Pam staying at our home, and consider her a friend. We will happily have her sit with us again!

Elise

Sitting for Elise's sweet kitty Della was a really fun experience. She started out SO shy -- it was about three days before she actually emerged when we were home -- but after some time spent with her laser pointer and toys, she eventually came around. Though she was still a bit skittish, she absolutely loved being brushed, gently petted, and wanted to show us her tricks in the water fountain.

Elise is a total sweetheart, and really easy to communicate with. She kept in touch over WhatsApp, and was always prompt in answering any questions or concerns. 

Elise's place is super cute, cozy and witchy, with a really comfy bed and nice open spaces in the living room and bedroom for working out, doing yoga, or playing with Della. The internet was great and fast, and it was easy for two people to work remotely. The location is awesome, all of downtown is super walkable and close by. 

I'd absolutely recommend this sit, especially for anyone who enjoys the company of sweet chatty kitties and wants to enjoy all that downtown Lexington has to offer.
