All of the past reviews capture my experience perfectly - Zoey and Jackson are adorable and easy to care for and Jade and Geremy are the sweetest hosts! They were very welcoming and made my stay very comfortable. I am so glad I was able to stay here - also a great location in Portland - very centrally located and easily walkable to many great spots. We were able to walk to the Saturday Market and great restaurants close by (I highly recommend trying out the Kasbah Moroccan Café). I would definitely love to stay here again and be able to see them all again! =)
I honestly couldn’t have had a better house sitting experience! Kari’s home and garden was so lovely and her pup, Griffin, was one of the best dogs I have ever pet sit for! He quickly became my best friend! We went on plenty of adventures together - the beach, parks, hikes .. he is so well-behaved and a total softy when it comes to receiving belly rubs and cuddles! He has great temperament around other dogs and I never had any issues with him on or off the leash. The home is well-equipped with everything you may need .. and outback is a raspberry bush and fig tree! Overall amazing experience - I highly recommend house sitting for Kari & Griffin to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay!
Oh my goodness, what a lovely experience! Reidan is an awesome little cat! I was lucky enough to hang out with him for over a month. He's adorable, affectionate, intelligent, playful, hilarious, considerate, and oh-so-fluffy! He treated me like an old friend from the moment I arrived. I will miss this beautiful little guy so much! Ciara is an incredibly kind, caring, and generous person. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. We got to catch up briefly, and it was so nice to meet her in person. The location is perfect. Literally steps from the bus stop and across the road from Quickie Mart. You can walk to the city centre too if you want some good exercise. I would come back in a heartbeat to see my little buddy Reidan again!
Rebecca made us feel so welcome and at home in her lovely house! The sit was a dream and we loved caring for Muffin and Dora! They’re an absolute dream duo. Muffin is shy but loves head rubs and bumps now and again. Dora is so friendly and when we saw her she was incredibly affectionate. The area is very close to Woolacombe beach, with lots of great cafes and foody places nearby! Would love to sit again!
We couldn't have had a better introduction to the spectacular Yorkshire area than the one offered by the kind, friendly, and generous Peter and Carole. Peter kindly picked us up from the airport in Leeds and both Peter and Carole welcomed us and our nephew like family. We then spent a lovely afternoon at the local pub and got to know each other better. The house was lovely and very comfortable. We found it very easy to care for it and its beautiful garden. Carole answered promptly to all our messages and even offered to post us a charger we left behind. Thank you again! Now, let's talk about the bright, smart, and fun bundle of joy that is Alfie. It was such a joy to be around Alfie who can be easily walked off lead and understands everything you're saying to him. We loved spending time in the garden playing with his tennis balls and going for lovely walks along the river. The local walks are enough to give you a taste of the vast amount of beauty that awaits in Yorkshire. Our house sit for Carole and Peter also came with a wonderful bonus: five days spent with the joyous and vivacious Bertie, Alfie's best friend. It's enough to say Bertie has probably been designed to be the perfect size and personality for cuddling and loving. He was a good walk partner for Alfie and a joy to walk off lead. The entire sit was an extraordinary experience, and we feel very lucky to have been chosen to care for Alfie and Bertie.
Donna and Ross have a beautiful farm in Tiny township. This was my first experience looking after Horses and Donna was very patient and knowledgeable. Ross recommended where to access the Tay Trail for mountain biking and walks with the Dogs. Bougie is an energetic Dog and has the cutest ears! I enjoyed looking after the Horses and Chickens as I grew up in the City of Toronto. Nice to see where the eggs come from! There are lots of beaches in the area to swim but I didn't take the dogs to the beach. I would recommend this sit for anyone who enjoys the peacefulness of Farm life without too many chores.
