We had a fabulous five weeks looking after Jake in a really nice holiday home in the beautiful wine town of Martinborough. Jane couldn’t have been more welcoming and laid back during the handover. Jake’s a lovely dog, very well behaved. He’s a real character. And, to the next sitters, Jake’s a little bit bigger than he looks on the photo!
Being with Jasper in Bowral was a delight. Lynleigh is an hospitable and generous host and her home is a lovely, light and sun-filled oasis in the colder months. Delightful walks and afternoon visits to the dog park were great with dogs and their owners to meet and chat with. My puppy, Coco, loved her time with Jasper and in Bowral. I would return to be with Jasper anytime and highly recommend this sit to other house sitters.

Ian and Andrea kindly welcomed me with a lovely evening meal and warm conversation 24hrs before the sit started so that I could familiarise myself with the chicken's feeding and cleaning routine. The six ladies had plenty of room to wander around their run during the day and were pretty entertaining and self sufficient despite needing to be lifted to dry ground during the random flooding due to the 15hr storm! Apart from that, after the morning feed and clean duties and lunchtime check, the ladies only required checking and shutting in after dusk.
Ian and Andrea were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the two weeks, and I was provided with great instructions and contacts of local people who were around to help. The area is stunning with beautiful walks and so many beautiful places to visit nearby, the unused church next door is also a historical gem to visit, I am looking forward to returning in the summer when there will be more sun and less rain, all being well. ;)
I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Pat's and Dave's home. The house is decorated very lovely and super clean and everything is like new. I met Pat and Dave before and found them very personable and hospitable. Pat is very generous, the guest room where I slept is also beautifully furnished and so cosy. Coco is friendly and uncomplicated, even a bit shy. Sometimes she runs around the house, which is really funny. And actually she lets you know when she wants or needs something. I can highly recommend this place! Thank you both.
We can't say enough good things about our stay with Chaos and Indi. They are such lovable, sweet and friendly kitties. They are very well loved kitties and it shows! We also very much enjoyed the house and were spoiled by the incredible vista and scenery every single day. The birds that came to visit each day on the deck were an added attraction as well! This sit was good for the soul and one we won't ever forget. We hope to be back another time. It really was one of our favorite experiences in our over 30+ sits! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Unfortunately, my dog was involved in an ‘incident’ while in their care. I spoke with bark n fly on the phone at 12pm 7th of March while at work and was told that a dog had ran over to mine and had bitten him on the ear (“nipped”) and there were some marks left underneath his front shoulder. We were told that he did not need picked up early and was fine after the incident as he was acting like himself. I was told it was up to owners if they wanted to opt for stitches on the ear or let it heal itself but to possibly get some antibiotics from the vet to avoid infection. I had booked my dog into the vet just to be sure. I was told the dogs had been separated and that the other owner would be told about the incident. I was also told that it would’ve been my dog that would get moved groups in future as he had been placed with the larger dogs. When I arrived to collect my dog, he came limping down the steps and I initially was looking for the cut on his ear when I noticed there was a major cut on his leg. After seeing my dog close up I could tell he would need stitches at the top of his leg and there would definitely be no ‘owner choice’ in regards to his wound. The worker told me he had been asleep for the last 2 hours which is very out of character for my young beagle and he has never done that while at day care before. I told the worker that he clearly needs stitches and they looked at his wound and addressed my dog and asked him if he had been “licking it while I wasn’t watching”. No amount of licking could have caused the open wound on his arm, I had no response to this and picked him up to go to the vets. I could see that my dog had been bitten multiple times and this was not a result of playing. I had to lift my dog to the car as he refused to walk any further and I left in tears. After taking my dog to the vet, they could see that he would need stitches and booked him in for the following morning. He had to be injected with antibiotics and painkillers, wound cleaned and given a cone to stop him making the cut worse. My insurance covered the £550 vet bills but I paid £160 excess for his injuries. In his procedure he had to get 3 different lots of stitches. After seeking a dog walker, they also had a look at the injuries and described it as he had clearly been mauled by the other dog. I was not told that the other dog who had done this would no longer be allowed to attend the daycare and I also feel upset that their owner will not know the extent of the incident and will not hear the final outcome. I had no confirmation about what had been said to the other owner. I wish that I had known the extent of his injury and I would have collected him straight away and taken him to the vet rather than him being hurt and left for 4 hours. Since then, Bark N Fly told me that they would pay me back the excess amount of £160 which took 2 months to receive back. I am only posting my experience now as although I stopped using their services I feel that other dogs owners should know about my dogs experience using Bark N Fly.
We've used Bark n Fly's services several times now and have been impressed each time. The gentleman that does the pick up is always kind and patient, and when we went to the place in person the staff were also helpful. We thought the facilities were impressive, too. Our dog (pictured in our local park) is very nervous of people but Bark n Fly assured us she'd be okay and have been most professional. I would absolutely recommend them if you need your dog cared for.
My pup Daisy loves the day care facilities at Bark n Fly. The pickup/drop off service is really handy. Daisy recently stayed for just under a week in the boarding services and had a great time, I appreciated the pictures of her playing and living her best life! Will definitely keep using Bark n Fly and highly recommend
This is the first time we have used kennels for our two dogs Winnie and Mylo, Dawn and her team were great and helped us get everything organised for their stay. Winnie is a typical outgoing wee white fluff ball but Mylo is quite a nervous dog but they were so good and caring with him and the genuine affection shown by Abby and the other staff helped him relax, come out of his shell and enjoy his stay. This was our first time using the boarding service at Bark n Fly. When we picked our Westie Mara up after a wee, she tried to run back inside the building - so she must have absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly and gave some nice feedback on her stay. We will definitely use you again when we go away.
20 min waiting for someone at reception and nothing. Looks like I will lose my appointment at 10am due to not being able to leave my dogs for care. If you leave your dog here make sure you have enough, more than enough time. Looks like a nice place but no one at the front. Edited review - Don’t know how to reply to the “lies” I called - someone said would be there soon (disregarding the las two, dialled by mistake) so yes, there are calls. Be aware that someone answered so this is not a lie - perhaps you don’t know the call is registered on the callers phone. I was there at 9:22 with one of my dogs outside - took the picture because I knew this would be contested. So, yes, I did follow the instructions given in the door and yet nothing. Again, looks like a nice place but give yourself plenty, plenty of time and maybe someone will be at the reception.
Fantastic day care and boarding centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, and super convenient pick up / drop off service. When our dog was a puppy we really liked that we could get her acclimated to being away by starting with a half day at day care, progressing to a full day, and then to overnight stays. Our dog always loves her time there and comes home very sleepy from all the playing!

The Bark n Fly is amazing! They’re services are great! They picked up and delivered our dogs and both drivers were friendly, helpful and so patient with Ruby and Leia! We also could follow them on Instagram and check how much fun the dogs had playing around! They arrived home very happy (and equally exhausted because of the great time they had). I have no words to express how grateful we are to have found such nice people to take care of them while we are away 💙
We have a very active 18 months old GSP, who has struggled with home boarding so decided to try Bark’n’Fly. The team were very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to help her adjust to staying overnight. Coco has now been going for 3 months and her separation anxiety is gone! She recognises the staff and can’t wait to play in the fields with all the other dogs. We love checking Instagram to see if we can see a picture of Coco having fun on their account! I recommend the team and the set up, especially if you have an active dog, it’s great for them to be able to play all day

Where do l start? Our dog Ally started attending Ferry Furry Friends dogs day care when he was 4 months old. He fell in love with the guys straight away. When you love dogs, you just can’t hide it! They are so loving and caring with all the dogs they look after. We are having trouble to persuade Ally to go home after spending a day with Barry and Tina. Even when we go for a local walk, Ally wants to go and see Tina and Barry and just takes us to their house;) Just to add that their standards (behavioural, hygienic and health and safety) are very high.
Ferry Furry Friends were absolutely fantastic when we left our dog with them overnight. This was the first time we had left our dog with a boarder, and we felt very comfortable and confident with the service they provided and we will definitely be using them again for walks, boarding and day sitting.
I was so nervous about leaving my puppy with anyone, but ferry furry friends put my mind at ease. Betsy was very well looked after for the 2 days and night she was there. I cannot recommend enough and there's no one else I would leave her with knowing she was happy, safe and cuddled was all I could ask for ❤️
My dog loves coming here for daycare and gets excited at the mention of it. Tina and Barry have a great relationship with the dogs and treat them like their own. Would recommend to anyone looking for daycare or dog walking.
Our pup goes to Ferry furry friends once a week and absolutely loves it. She drags me there in the morning and loves spending the day playing and walking with other dogs

Miriam looked after our Cavapoo puppy Max for a week. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We had regular updates on Max throughout the week who was well looked after and cared for. We had complete piece of mind during our holiday. Miriam was great to deal with, she also provided us with a lot of useful tips and suggestions with Max going forward. She is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. Brilliant service and Max will be back for his ‘pawlidays’ again soon 🐾

Honestly what a genuine lovely lady miriam is although she was fully booked on the dates I needed she went above and beyond with lots of helpful information moving forward, recommend advice she gave, the amount of time she took out her own day to talk with me reassuring me and going threw option I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend her service based on our own chat for the last 2 hours nothing was a problem if anything I have gained knowledge/ understanding of my own wee dog this lady is hands down a lovely soul thank you Tanya x
I have been using Bespoke Home from Home Dog Boarding for many years - the first time was just after Miriam started it all! Border collie Mac was just a young dog then and he was always well cared for and given that extra special love and attention that you want for your special pet when you have to leave them. We have had 4 different carers over the years and all have been excellent. We now have two dogs, 2 border collies Mac and Midge, and whenever we leave them, we are confident that that they are in safe hands and that they will be cared for as you would care for them yourself at home. Sometimes, it is hard to tear them away and bring them home, they have had such a great time!! Thank you! :)
Unfortunately she couldn't board my dog, but she spent a lot of time with me trying to help me out. A very helpful lady who gave her time when she didn't have to.
Bespoke Dog Boarding was highly recommended to me by my vet. I telephoned the owner of the company and we had a detailed chat about my dog and his requirements, also his daily routine. I was most impressed by the owner of the company and can tell that she clearly is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. I was concerned that my dog who is a loveable middle aged lab, would be home boarded alongside, for example, a "Staffie" but after reading these other reviews, I am delighted to say that dogs who some may consider as potentially dangerous breeds would not be allowed to board with Bespoke Dog Boarding. This gave me peace of mind. I then met with one of the dog carers, who fell in love with my boy straight away and vice versa. The carers home and garden was beautiful. We spend over half an hour with the carer and played with my dog in the garden. I could see how happy he would be if he were to come here for his holidays. I have now used Bespoke Dog Boarding 3 times this year already as the service is fantastic. The dogs receive 3 or 4 lengthy walks each day, loving home comforts, constant companionship and I also received updates during my holiday followed by a selection of beautiful photographs after my holiday, showing Bailey having a super time with another 2 dogs from different families. When I collected him, he didn't want to leave!!!! I have now highly recommended Bespoke Dog Boarding to all of my dog friends. I would advise others to make a booking months in advance of your holiday as they are usually fully booked 6 months to a year in advance by all their regular clients. However I have sometimes asked for a short notice booking and if they have availability they will take Bailey. To the team of dog carers who may read this, thank-you for providing me with total peace of mind and I look forward to using your service for many more years to come.
Used Miriam for my dog Bailies 14 years at least three times a year and couldn’t fault her. She dosnt take dangerous breeds which I feel is a great thing as it is only for the safety of our own dogs . I can’t beleive the below negative posts when thease people have even used the company because they didn’t make it through the strict criteria . Well done Bespoke for not taking any dog just to make more money . Fabulous service and genuine dog lovers .

Our dog, Molly, has been going to Urban Tails for years for both dog walking and boarding. She absolutely loves going and is always worn out when she get's back. Faye, Fiona and the team are amazing at looking after her and treat her like she is one of their own dogs. Can't recommend the staff highly enough and wouldn't go anywhere else. The boarding is particularly great as Molly knows Faye and the other dogs so it's a complete weight on my mind knowing she is being looked after and enjoying herself when we are not there. First class.
Faye, Fiona and team have been looking after our lab Skye on dog walks, daycare, and home boarding for the last few years, and I can’t recommend their services highly enough. They offer door-to-door collection and drop-off, so absolutely everything is taken care of - and Skye has the best time whilst away! The facilities and field are amazing, so much space for the dogs to run and explore. The groups are always small and appropriate, with friendly and sociable dogs - Skye comes back exhausted from chasing and playing. Faye is able to be flexible with our schedule, taking on extra walks when necessary, and offers home boarding too which is a huge help in letting us enjoy some time away. I know that Skye is comfortable and so well cared for, in surroundings familiar to her. I trust the girls 100% and know that Skye is treated as one of their own! Would highly recommend Urban Tails and the services they offer - one very happy dog owner (and dog!) :-)

We have used Faye for a while now and our dog is always well looked after and has great walks. It’s helped him socialise with other dogs and his recall has improved hugely thanks to Fayes training with us and with him! Would recommend, day care is in a home environment.
Eddie has just come back from a few days stay with Faye and her two dogs. He had a brilliant tine! He loved meeting all the new dogs throughout the week and the regular updates were great - reassuring us that he was having a great old time. Eddie can't wait to go back!

I wouldn't take my two cats or dog anywhere else. Liz is fantastic, extremely welcoming and clearly loves animals. The boarding lodges are housed on beautiful grounds and there are lots of walking options if you are popping your dog in. My two cats always come back looking great and are extremely well looked after. My mum was who had recommended them as she and my sister have always used Liz when popping the dogs in. I'd highly recommend Manor Lodge to anyone who is looking for kennels or a cattery.
I would not recommend this cattery. My children and I were greeted by the most unfriendly man on arrival who was reluctant to let myself and children look around the cattery and see where our cat would be staying. After some persuasion he let us in and his partner/wife took over the booking in. The accommodation was good with a cat flap into an outside run which I was pleased about. However on pick up today the pen was extremely grotty and the litter tray was full looking like it hadn't been cleaned out for some time. When I politely challenged the owner re the cleanliness she was extremely rude to me and in front of my 9 year old son swore at us at we left.
My dog is super happy. She looks great you can tell she has been well taken care of as she has no stress and looks really happy. Will keep taking her there as they are really nice and professional. It is a place I recommend and trust 100%.
We always board our cat at Manor Lodge when we go away. The cattery rooms are clean with heating, bedding, cat toys, litter trays and scratching pads. Our cat is on a strict diet and Elizabeth takes care to feed our cat as instructed. My cat returns happy and healthy. I would recommend this cattery to my friends.
Refusing to take a dog because of its breed and a bad experience. So glad the owner told me this over the phone. I wouldn't trust someone with that kind of mentality with my dog. This is someone who is suppose to take care of dogs professionally. So why then have all dogs that are the same breed been judged just because of one bad experience. Surely they should know no two dogs are exactly the same. Shame on you for being so judgmental to such a lovely gentle dog Without evening having met her or even asked her name! I have since found a lovely kennel for my dog. One that dpesn NOT judge because of her breed and one that will take into consideration my dogs personal needs. She is after all a living feeling animal and not a monster. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Cattery not recommended - rooms too small not enough room for bed, litter tray and toys hardly any space between litter tray and food & water dishes, litter wasn't changed in 4 days we provided our own 2 bags of litter returned unopened had to bath our wee cat when he came home as he was stinking we also threw out his bedding and toys his bed was brand new and intact when he went in was torn to shreds when he came out he was obviously distressed being in there ! If you love your cat don't put wee furball in there! ☹️
Absolutely fantastic kennels and cattery. Our pups and cats love going there as they are given a home from home experience and cared for properly. The owners are Absolutely fantastic and extremely accommodating
I always take my cat to Manor Lodge when I go away. It's clear the owner is a proper cat lover, and because she only takes a small number of cats at one time they each get spoiled a bit and get plenty of attention. My cat might be unhappy with me for leaving him when I get back but that might also be because he doesn't want to leave Manor Lodge!!

Boarded our 12 year old Benji with Catrina for 5 days. We were not sure how he would be as he has recently lost his twin brother. We shouldn’t have worried as he was very well looked after. Definitely would recommend Catrina and would not hesitate to use Dogs at Spencerfield again

Our dachshund Seve has been staying with Catrina several times a year for the last 11 years. He absolutely loves his time with Catrina & Kobe. He is treated like one of the family & he has so much fun when he’s there. We’re always happy to leave Seve as we never have to worry about him when we’re away. I cannot rate Catrina and Dogs at Spencerfield highly enough. My little munchkins have been going over to this luxury home from home 5⭐️heaven since my oldest was around 4 or so months. The lovely wee doggies get the real ‘red carpet’ treatment, including all the walks, snacks and pupper enrichment their little hearts could desire. They also get evening sofa snuggles too! When my boys are staying with Catrina and her family, I know I can relax and really enjoy my time away. Catrina provides regular pupdates and is great at managing my eldest boy’s special dietary needs which really gives me peace of mind. Dogs at Spencerfield is truly a unique business and I would never consider boarding my fur- babies anywhere else. Dogs at Spencerfield is fully council licenced which is such an important fact, particularly nowadays when everyone and anyone seems to be ‘doing dog boarding’. When I collect them after my holidays, I can tell they have had a whale of a time! Thanks so much for all you do for us Catrina, Kobe and the gang, love Lauren, Duke and little Blue too 🐶🥰🐶

Arranged for our Corgi to stay here. Had an introduction at the premises where Catrina met us and our dog, and we signed all paperwork. Agreed on a date for a trial night which was then changed by Catrina, so we changed plans to accommodate. We were then emailed by Catrina 4 days before the re-arranged trial stay, to be told our dog (who she already met) was not small enough to stay, meaning we had to again cancel our plans, at our expense.
I highly recommend Spencer field bording. Catrina sends texts and photos to let us know how poppy is doing,have a great peace of mind with poppy staying at Spencer field bording.
I am so grateful that I found Jess! Could not recommend this business more. My Cockapoo, Freddie joined Finn and his pals for group walks at just 4 months old. Jess has been so accommodating to his needs over the last few months, making sure he gets enough rest as well as playtime. Freddie spends 2 days a week with Jess and he is always so happy to see her in the morning. I can go to work knowing he is in great hands and love seeing the updates on social media of the pups playing together. A picture can tell a thousand words - just look at how happy he is!!
Jess is an absolute superstar, so considerate, professional and caring for our pup. He has an absolute awesome time whenever he walks with her, both solo and the group. Finny and Friends’ boarding is great value and I know I can trust that our dog is safe and loved.
