Claire and Mark were the perfect housesitters. We chose them because they seemed so intent on ensuring that our dogs would be settled and content while we went away. They were keen to have a handover before we left and quickly got to know Layla and Tilly's individual personalities and needs and gave them a wonderful "holiday at home". The house was immaculate when we got back and Claire had even prepared a meal for us on our return. We had daily updates on their adventures, undertaken despite horribly wet weather. I hope this won't have put them off as we would love to have them sit for us again. Thank you Claire and Mark.
Oh my gosh! Elizabeth is wonderful. She is so communicative and conscientious. We talked a few times before she came. She was nice enough to come the night before to learn about things as we had to leave super early in the morning. During her stay, the dishwasher went nuts and she was so conscientious about contacting us and walking through the steps with us to disconnect it. It was difficult because I was traveling for business and really never alone so I was hard to communicate with and my husband was is Alaska deep sea fishing so hard to reach as well but she was so patient and thoughtful. Most importantly, when I came home, the cats could have cared less which means they got plenty of love and attention as they are quite communicative. And, my house was spotless. Frankly she did too much as it is not her doing that the dishwasher broke so she did not need to empty it much less do all of the other things she did. It was truly as if I had never left or actually better as she even cleaned the paw prints off of one table that I give up on as I can never keep one of the cats off of it. Elizabeth is a gem. Anyone would be lucky to have her take care of their pets and their home.
Lauren has cared for our pets and home in the past, and we were thrilled to have her return for our week long excursion to New England. Our tortoises were well fed, the dogs were happy and our plants thrived. The house was spotless when we got back from our trip and all was well. We highly recommend Lauren to other zeewoi members and look forward to having her petsit next time!
