5 thumbs recommendation from me. Great sit with a perfect dog, Purdy, in idillic surroundings near Ripon itself with fantastic walks along the river and canals, town and local drivable area. Nicola is an excellent host who welcomed me to the Annex to the house which is beautiful and really comfortable. Thanks for letting me stay and look after Purdy :-)
Melanie and her husband made us very welcome and gave us a lovely meal when we arrived. Inca and Penny showered us with affection and we immediately new we would enjoy our house sit. The house is extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the countryside and towns nearby. We would definitely go back again, if convenient and would recommend this as a house sit for any future house sitters.
Emma and Nick are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome in their home! Horace and Hamish are the sweetest dogs you could hope to look after! Horace has his special little ball which he loves and we were amazed at how he remembers exactly where it is at a moments notice lol. They both adore cuddles and snuggling in their beds, so much that it takes a bit of persuasion to get them out for a walk! However we were sitting during a really rainy period so I don't think any of us minded that. The garden is very large and great for playing with the dogs, and backs onto woodland which is super nice, the whole area is beautiful. Would definitely recommend!!
