Flavia was easy to communicate with and we quickly agreed on working together. She is truly a cat person - my spoiled kitty warmed up to her quickly and gladly played with her every day. She was respectful of the home and the pet, asked for and followed all the directions carefully. She sent me updates with pictures and videos every day, several times a day - per my request. Flavia demonstrated quick practical thinking and action - when she realized there was something wrong with the toilet, she bought a plunger and used it to fix it. We started off to a rocky start when Kelly did not arrive at the time she had told me (3PM) and sent someone else to the house instead. I saw a man in my outdoor cameras trying to get in. I texted Kelly and she clarified that was her boyfriend who I had not been told about. She then did not show up at the new time she gave me (8PM) so my two pets had not had dinner and one was outside for much longer than I had communicated was acceptable. The rest of the weekend was fine but she was never quite home when she told me she would be working from home. Ultimately I would not have Kelly back. She had the place clean when I arrived home but because I could see her coming and goings I knew my pets were not being taken care of as I had asked. I also had to remind about the trash going out and then saw she left the cans in the street the whole weekend which would have let my neighbors know that no one was home. I normally don't worry about my pets and home when I was away but it ended up being the constant talk of my friend group during this trip.
