We felt totally relaxed leaving our four dogs and three cats with Dawn. She is very friendly, likable and capable and very caring to the animals. We enjoyed 2 great evenings with her and she os great company. She sent me photos all the time we were away and checked in if she need anything, always communicating just right. I would highly recommend Dawn for house and animal sitting to anyone. She would be a great fit in any situation and she is welcome back as our guest anytime she likes.

Gill and Richard have a beautiful home in a stunning area that I know well, and two delightful dogs, Dolly and Bertie. Gill was hospitable beyond expectations, including cooking a delicious dinner the night before their early morning departure. Dolly and Bertie were excellent company, enjoying their regular walks through the woods and fields minutes from the house (all those fascinating scents to sniff out) and relaxing in the evenings in various sprawled positions, sometimes on me - and Dolly's quite a weight! They are great company for each other, lots of play fighting and chasing each other round the garden. They were really well trained, happy to sit patiently when I stopped to admire views, only slipping into barking frantically (Bertie mostly) at any dogs we met, even ones twice as big. A lovely sit and one I'd be happy to do again.
Sitting for Kaibo was a joy and we would do it again. He is very affectionate and easy to walk around town. The house is very well appointed with a great kitchen, comfortable bed, office and fenced back yard. There are bus stops within a two minute walk so a car is not necessary. We had great communication with Julia and Polly while they were gone and they welcomed us to their home a day before the sit to help us orient. Shops and restaurants are nearby and everything else London has to offer is a bus and short train ride away.
Looking after Lucky was a real pleasure. She is a timid independent little cat but warmed to me as time went on. She enjoyed sitting on my lap in the evenings. During the day she ate, slept and sat in the sun when there was some. She was easy to care for. Dawn and Phil were really friendly and communicative. Their house is in a great location for Tavistock Town and lovely walks.
Very nice first experience on Trusted House sitters. We took care of Spotz, Ubuntu and Brownie for 3 weeks. The dogs were adorable. They are independent but love cuddles. They are always happy to see you when you come home or wake up. Spotz is very energetic on walks and likes to stay with you. Ubuntu is quiet and likes to smell every blade of grass. Brownie is shy at first so you have to be gentle with her. After a few days, she even asks for strokes with her paw. We loved spending time with these three dogs. We will come back with pleasure. The house is lovely and comfortable. It's the perfect place for work in a quiet place and visit the tuscan countryside. Manciano is a nice town with all you need. There is much to do and see in surroundings (walks, picturesque villages, sea, etc.). Marie Elisabeth et Guido are very nice. We have communicated with them easily.
