Seth kept me informed with text photos and captions. When I came home, it was obvious my cats and dog had a lot of love because they were contentedly relaxed. The house was well-maintained. I would definitely have Seth back again.

Laurie
We had a fantastic experience house-sitting for Laurie and Daniel in Durham. Their two dogs, Buster and Saffron, were wonderful companions. Buster, though small, has a big heart and is always ready to protect you. Saffron was equally delightful and well-behaved.

They also have two cats, Smoky and Tucker. Smoky is incredibly friendly and loves being petted, reminding me of my own cats. Tucker is very lovely and just needs a couple of days to get comfortable with kids.

The house is amazing, equipped with all the amenities you could need. Daryn is a tech enthusiast, so the home features some impressive appliances, like a fridge that counts your water intake in ounces!

The location is great too—very walkable and bikable, which made it easy to explore the area. Laurie and Daniel went from the Research Triangle to the Bermuda Triangle for a cruise vacation, and we were glad to take care of everything for them while they were away.

Overall, it was a wonderful sit, and we highly recommend Laurie and Daniel as hosts.

This has to be one of the best housesits we have ever done!!

Kim & Blaine were so welcoming when we arrived. They went through everything thoroughly with us and also left all the details we would need. We went through Brutus’s routine and medication before they left so were fully confident with what we needed to do.

They have a beautiful home, the outdoor area with pool and hot tub are amazing and we spent most of our time enjoying the space whilst watching the road runners and quails coming for their food.

And of course not forgetting the wonderful Brutus... We have definitely fallen in love with him!
He has one of the gentlest souls we have ever had the pleasure to look after. He is very easy to care for, takes his medications without any issue (He loves taking his cheesy wrapped pills!)
Kim made a great chart to make it a really simple process.

We loved getting to know Kim and Blaine better when they returned, such a fabulous couple! We will definitely pop by next time we are in Arizona!

Thank you!

What a treasure! Totally amazing!

Sandra and Richard's property is straight out of a fairy tale. . . Imagine a pristine lake in the woods, and yourself standing with a cup of steaming coffee watching the still lake in the cool morning sunlight, with two loving dogs pressing against you for morning cuddles. A bald eagle calls several times before you see it as it flies by, being harassed by a crow. This is not a fairy tale, this actually happened! The location is remote, so may not be for everyone, but we LOVED it!!

The home has been tastefully and creatively developed over many years - it has more modern conveniences than you'll ever need. It is in a very quiet location - great for long walks on maintained trails and fire roads through the woods. There's no traffic, no trains, no airplanes, nothing but nature and pure joy.

The pets are very cute and very cuddly and fun to care for.
Dogs: They greeted us with great fanfare when we arrived, but they calm down in just a couple of minutes and were very affectionate and easy. They love their walks, and there's plenty of space to walk them close to home and mostly off-leash.
Cats: Playful and affectionate. This was our first experience with the Munchkin breed. They're very cute!
Fish: Interesting to watch (who needs TV?), and feeding is very simple.

Sandra and Richard are pillars in their community and have lived in the area almost all their lives. They have very interesting life-stories and family histories. Hopefully you'll have a bit of time with them to hear about their families and learn about the many ways they serve their community.

We especially appreciated that Sandra and Richard have experienced several house-sitters, so they have an efficient routine that effectively communicates what you'll need to know and do. They communicate promptly and effectively. You'll sense their trust, but they're available if you have a question.

We just LOVED our short time at this house-sit. It was a real high-light for us and we really hope we'll have the opportunity to return. Very highly recommended!

I could not have been more comfortable in Elena and David's home and I had an absolutely fantastic 5-week stay. As I got back to Ontario a couple of days before the sit was due to start, I was invited to arrive early instead of having to make other arrangements and that was much appreciated. It also meant we could share snow shovelling duties when the last big snowfall of winter came!

The home is very spacious and has everything you could expect or need. If you need public transport, the bus route is about 15-20 minute walk away but I was kindly allowed to use one of the cars at the property. It's a very quiet and peaceful area to be in, and I would recommend a visit to nearby Tew's Falls and Dundas Peak.

Finally, Chico and Romeo are adorable cats and very easy to look after. Chico is the braver of the two and will bond with you almost instantly, while Romeo takes some time but is also very affectionate. They will put on little play-fighting shows to entertain you and they both enjoy a good, vigorous belly rub. I miss them already!

Sam
We really enjoyed our stay with Archie. He's a lovely dog, if a little excitable at first but once he gets used to you he's fine. Sam's house is located in a very quiet area, with plenty of space to walk including the canal. A nice little pub/restaurant 5 minutes walk away. We constantly kept in touch with Sam, and she was always available to answer any questions.

Maya was the sweetest girl! Very shy at first, but still sweet. It took her a few days to warm up but she pretty easy going and gentle. She's very easy to care for. Communication with Camille and her Fiancé was great we were about to keep in touch in the app and phone. With a good balance of keeping in touch and allowing them to enjoy their time away with peace of mind. The home was very cozy and has a really nice patio to hang on! If you are visiting Charlotte you are very close to popular mall concord mills and other attractions. 20 min from uptown and all its wonderfulness! I'd be happy to hang out with Maya again whenever invited!
