What a great dog and house sit! Puggins and Jake are the sweetest and most well behaved dogs! They love to cuddle and be close to you which I really enjoyed. Susan and Spencer are a fun loving couple who are extremely gracious and kind. They went above and beyond to show me around the Villages and make me feel at home. They left detailed instructions and were always available if I had any questions. They were awesome hosts and I am so fortunate to have met and spent time with them! The Villages is a large retirement community with lots of amenities and feels like a resort. Their home is lovely with an open floor plan and very comfortable in every way. The kitchen was wonderful with everything you could possible need to cook with and then some. The backyard includes a shaded patio, screened birdcage, grill, beautiful plants, and a soothing fountain. I really enjoyed dog and house sitting for them and would highly recommend it. Thank you again for all your hospitality you showed me!
It was a delight to care for the loving and affectionate Mr Bob in his new home in the Lake District. Helen made us extremely welcome plus all communications were very easy both prior and during her absence. We had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding countryside and reacquainting ourselves with the area. Hopefully we can care for Mr Bob again sometime in the future and thank Helen for her kindness.
Terron was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He lives close by so that made it an easy pet/house sit for me. Apollo and Aurora and super cute dogs with lots of enthusiasm. They were around my baby son a lot and I felt comfortable with that as they’re both extremely sweet dogs. They love to play fetch and they love their treats! Terrons home was very nice and clean. I felt welcomed with the nice bath soaps and lotions in the guest bathroom. The guest bed is a huge king and very comfortable! There’s a neighborhood park a short walk down the street and a beautiful lake to walk around (I strolled my son around). We didn’t get out much but that area of town has everything you could ever want. I grew up in that area but it’s grown a ton!! Altogether it was a great experience and we would definitely go back! 10/10 I recommend.

My husband and I had a fantastic time taking care of the two dogs. The dogs parents are amazing hosts. They left outsome well, wishing welcome baskets, and were gracious enough to say to eat whatever they had in their kitchen and use their house as if we were there as guests. They left very clear info with their instructions and came back the day that they had said that they would, they kept us up-to-date. If there was any changes they let us know about anything, they were clearly fantastic hosts and the dogs are amazing pets to take care of 10 out of 10 all around. We had a great time going on Nova Scotia adventures with the two big dogs, tourist attractions, beautiful beaches and so much more. If you get to sit for them you will not be disappointed they are 30 mins from the downtown core. As well as they have a breathtaking atmosphere and view at their home.
