From the outset the communication with Lyn and Ray was 100%. They were obviously very experienced and knew what questions to ask and were so conscientious in reading our house manual. When we met them we hit it off immediately. They are a lovely couple and even when our wee Beau broke her toe just before they arrived this didn’t phase them at all even when Socks had to be walked and one of them had to stay with Beau. They kept us up to date every day with the dogs welfare which we loved. They cooked us a lovely meal on our return and the house was spotless and we had two very happy dogs. If they lived closer we would adopt them as family! Would not hesitate to recommend them
We were warmly welcomed by Ellen, who even picked us up from the train station. We were greeted with a delicious dinner, and the next morning she showed us all the sights. The house and the large garden were very beautiful. We had a lot of fun with the two sweet dogs, which we took care of for two weeks. Thank you for the great experience, Ellen!
It was a delight to housesit for Hazel and Walter. They were easy to communicate with and gave me great instructions for the house, the pups and the kittens preferences. I spent most of time with the pups and they were super cuddly, cute and easy to be around. They did miss their parents in the beginning, but that was to be expected. The cats came as they pleased and was also very lovely. I would love to come back!
Idyllwild is a magical place high in the Southern California mountains 1 hour from the Coachella Valley and approximately 2 hours from San Diego. This sit included 1 very sweet 105 pound red Labrador Retriever Teddy and 2 cats brother and sister Button & Boo. All very affectionate and so sweet. Teddy is a very special dog and so handsome. We had some great hikes and a good time just hanging out. The house/ cabin is amazing and very quiet and relaxing with nature everywhere you turn. I hope to return in the future. I miss them all already. Cindy and Kevin were fantastic and kept in touch along with being available if I needed anything. Thank you Cindy and Kevin.
