Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.
It was an absolutely pleasure sitting for Nellie, Patch, Omar and Pickle! Nellie and Patch were the sweetest lap dogs. Always up for a snuggle under the blanket. We enjoyed lovely near by walks and plenty of couch time in the cosy snug. Omar and Pickle are happy so long as you are feeding them the good stuff! They will generally keep to themselves, although Pickle may sneak in for a quick cuddle at bedtime (or toilet time!). Rachel and Dean were kind, generous and warm hosts. Dean has even prepared a detailed guide (including a video)! Highly recommend this Newark sit.
Charlie & Bagira are just the absolute best! Charlie made us feel super welcomed to her home and neighborhood and her hospitality was top notch. Bagira is such an amazing little companion who ADORES a cuddle (but not as much as her tennis ball 😂). Charlie's communication was great, she responded so promptly whenever we queried anything at all. Bagira is so well behaved and beautifully mannered that she made this sit an absolute dream and we miss her already! Thanks again Charlie for trusting us with Bagira & your place, we hope to see you both again in the future.
We had a great time looking after Freyja, she was so chill and really affectionate. The house was lovely and Erin set us up our own space, it made us feel really welcomed. Communication throughout the whole process was so easy and Erin made sure we had everything we needed to make the sit as super smooth.
Mike and Gail are so kind and thoughtful and have a most beautiful slice of heaven on earth! Their ranch is peaceful and relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and getting to know them. They made us a delicious dinner upon our arrival. But we absolutely fell in love with all the furry pups and they all are so well behaved and completely trained in every way! What a joy getting to spend time in their lovely home and on property taking walks, talking to the cows and horses and feeding the chickens and gathering eggs all filled all the pcountry girl desires a city girl could have! Fortunately we have been around our friends ranch and found myself comfortable taking care of all these amazing creatures! Can’t wait to come and stay again! Thank you Mike and Gail!
I had a wonderful time with the adorable Mr Smee in Lucinda's beautiful home. Lucinda made a delicious dinner as a welcome and left all the information I could need - both online and on very handy handwritten notes as well as showing me where everything is when I arrived. Perfect! Smee is - paws down - one of my favourite four-pawed friends! He is very well behaved, sweet and cuddly, playful and happy and just a pleasure to be around and look after and I was very sad when the sit came to an end. I particularly enjoyed playing with him in the garden and then watch him cool down in the bay - he loves to play and he loves his walks and of those there are plenty on the doorstep and they are lovely! The views from Lucinda's house over the bay and the area are mesmerising, you can also swim in the bay, it's just a few steps away. This is a sit I thoroughly recommend and would be very happy to do again.
We had a great time housesitting for Rozemie and Didier and taking care of Jones and Louie for a few days! Jones and Louie were a bit reserved at first, but in no time they became very affectionate and cuddly. They are well behaved and friendly dogs full of character, energy and love. The dog brothers love to run and play outside for hours in the 7-acre garden area and when you whistle they promptly run towards you. The castle is absolutely magnificent. It's very comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. We loved walking in the beautiful, snowy garden and watching the dogs thoroughly enjoying their play time. The communication with Rozemie and Didier has been excellent from the start and we were left with clear directions regarding the property and the care of Jones and Louie. Thank you Rozemie and Didier for welcoming us into your home and having us take care of Jones and Louie. We miss them already. We would highly recommend this house-sit and would gladly sit for them again!
