Cat Sitters in Davis Bay

Jennifer arrived a friendly stranger and left as exptended family. Her affection and care towrd our pets was amazing. We were a little nervouse for this vacation since lest sitter we had through this site stood us up two day before we were to leave, then the sitter who replced them used my car without my permission and damaged it. Jennifer was more than understanding about our previous experience and hands down is the best pet sitter we have ever had. She has set the bar extremely high for future pet sitters. She also took great care of our home while we were away. I highly recommend her!

Linda and Andy were great guests yet again. This is the second time they have stayed at our home and we would continue to ask them to stay. They are very friendly and do an amazing job at looking after or dog, Oban. They send emails with photos and always a good story about something silly Oban has been doing or an adventure they have been on. They both go the extra mile with the house and leave it looking sparkling fresh. Linda and Andy also like giving back and were very generous by washing our car! Thanks to them both, such great pet sitters!

Gail and Ben were fabulous cat- and house-sitters. My numerous indoor and outdoor plants were thriving (they house sit during a hot spell) and my place was spotless when I returned, for which I was extremely grateful. Most importantly, my lovely cat Pebbles was happy and relaxed. I could see that she had been taken care of very well, and had no doubt received lots of cuddles and attention :) I met Ben and Gail twice briefly before they stayed. They had great energy and asked thoughtful questions, which gave me a lot of comfort. While I was away they communicated clearly, sent me updates, and left me a helpful note upon leaving. Pebbles and I would welcome Gail and Ben back -- and in the meantime: thanks so much to you both!

Well Pearl and Jack the Port Douglas Standard Poodles and their Mum won the ‘Best House Sitters’ lottery when Paul and Deena answered my enquiry for (preferably a couple) to care of my Poodles and my home. After losing my husband in February 2024 I needed to take time to see my family but I didn’t want to leave Pearl & Jack and had reservations about going away for so long. From the time that I collected Deena and Paul from Cairns Airport it was like meeting family. We then had 2 nights and the day in between for Paul & Deena to acquaint themselves with Pearl & Jack and the run of the house. They were all over it took notes and attentive, but super relaxed which made me relax. I was so impressed when after they unpacked, Paul came to me and asked if I minded he put tags on P&J’s collars with a cable tie stating they are being cared for by a pet sitter with their AUS mobile number! They updated me while I was away even with a rain/ flood issue and kept me briefed on P&J’s demeanour. Paul and Deena invited my parents to dinner and my good friend, they were so thrilled with the hospitality and their company but also they had the opportunity to still be able to see Pearl and Jack, so a good situation for them too. On my return I could not have found happier dogs, they even went to Paul & Deena’s room the first two mornings after I arrived home looking for them. They left fresh milk, cold meats, olives, cheeses and beautiful fresh bread for me, and the house was as I had left it, clean and very tidy with everything in the cupboards where it belonged. I cannot recommend Paul and Deena enough, and hope that we have the opportunity to have them back …….. in fact anytime at all they would be welcome, I would take a holiday to give them a holiday and Pearl & Jack a holiday as they loved their twice daily long walks and the way Paul and Deena spent time with them and followed the routine. Deena even cooked up their veg for 3 weeks in advance and put in the freezer for me! On a personal note, they’re a couple that you can just click with, very honest, transparent, personable and respectful. 10/10 +++++ Thank you Paul & Deena🐩🐩❤️❤️❤️ Ronni, Pearl & Jack

Ruth and her mom gave the best vacation for our sweet Bella! She quickly got confortable around them, which was very reassuring for us. Ruth and Deb are reliable, flexible, lovely and animal lovers. We got daily pictures and got a couple of videos calls. They were super flexible and understanding as we had some last minute changes for our trip that they could accommodate easily. Super trustworthy in general that we want to call them again for the next time we'll go away. Thank you for everything!

Catherine and her family came and looked after our 5 dogs and 2 cats while we went to the the UK from Greece. They did a wonderful job, were very responsible and are totally trustworthy. As a result they looked after our house in the UK a few weeks later and did a great job there too. Highly recommended. Thanks Catherine.

We cannot say enough about Yun! Our pups adore her as do our chickens and Turkeys! Yun’s care is beyond expectation. Attention to detail and taking steps beyond what is expected has been our experience twice now. We are blessed to have met Yun and we are very grateful for her.

Lily and Ryan were amazing sitters for Archie, whilst we were on a family holiday. They kept us updated with pictures and a lovely video of Archie during their stay. It was so nice to see Archie enjoying their company and feeling reassured he was being well loved and cared for whilst we were away. Our house was left super clean and tidy - just as we left it, which made our return from holiday even easier! We would definitely recommend Lily and Ryan as sitters and would love to have them sit for us again!

Carolyn was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond taking care of the dogs and when we returned it was as if nobody had been there. The only remnants were lovely flowers she left for us. Would love to host her and her family again.

Robyn and her boyfriend Jody were fantastic sitters! JP warmed up to them so quickly, and I could tell he was well cared for and having a a great time based on the daily updates Robyn provided! Would highly recommend her if you need a sitter :)

Simbi and her friend stayed in our home in Portland Oregon for 10 days while we traveled out of state for spring break. They cared for our elderly dog, 2 leopard geckoes and gold fish. This was our first experience using a house sitter through this site, and are so happy with our experience. Simbi was great to communicate with and asked questions when necessary. She was on time, reliable and left our home exactly as she found it. It was a great relief knowing that our dog had good company, walks, attention and her regular schedule the whole time we were gone, with out me having to worry about it day to day. Due to our flight schedule, we were not able to meet in person at all, but she was flexible about this, and it worked out fine with us leaving detailed instructions and being available via text for questions. We would be happy to have her house sit again in the future, and highly recommend her as a house sitter!
