This is a total dream of a sit. Honestly, such a gift! The location is magical, down a hidden lane, with the cottage an unspoilt idyll - like a painting - yet within 5 minutes' walk (across fields, past ponies, down 'watery lane' with wild Spring hedgerows, streams and alpacas) from St Agnes bakery, grocer's, coffee shops, pubs, acai bowls.... It is impossible not to fall for St Agnes - the friendliest people, cosiest cafes, wildest waves, most stunning cliffs. And always accompanied by the most beautiful dogs, who charmed everyone we met. The dogs are brilliant company and came with us everywhere. Both of them are a total joy; energetic on beaches and walks and yet calm and affectionate when cosying up in cafes or snuggled at home. Toby is adorable and adoring. He loves the beach, the streams and the sea. Fifi is a rock hopper - so agile - and yet also so affectionate. She melted the hearts of everyone she met. They are an endearing duo; playing together beautifully. It was so uplifting to watch them race and chase each other over the sand. Highlights of our time were: Chapel Porth Beach at low tide (and visits to the 'hedgehog ice-cream' cafe), walking with our four-legged friends after a swim at Porth Joke to St. Cuthbert's well at the quiet end of Holywell bay (via seals); Porthtowan; the beautiful local coves of Trevaunance and Trevellas; amazing dog friendly cafes (Sorting Office) and brewery (Driftwood Spas) within walking distance of the cottage; pasties from the Bakery; stopping at Genki on the way to or from the beach or St Agnes for an acai bowl. But mainly the sea and the sand and the beautiful home and of course Toby and Fifi. We could not have asked for more. Emily left us a beautiful, handwritten map and instructions so that we could easily find our way around and she was so kind in directing us to the home ice-cream maker, which Holly (9 years) absolutely loved! Thank you Emily and family for this precious time that will stay with us for long after we have left! We would LOVE to come back one day.
Amy and her family were an amazing sit! Their home is stunning and comfortable, so you find yourself just staying inside the whole time lol. Very low maintenance sit and the kitties are the sweetest things. I got attached to Mr. Magoo because he loves to cuddle and follow you around, he might hide in your bed a few times! Lola is a free spirit and takes time to warm up, but once she does she’s so sweet. If you ever sit for this family consider yourself so lucky!

Bridget was amazing! We needed short term doggy day care services whilst we were doing the odd day trip on our camping holiday in Dawlish Warren. We tried contacting a number of nearby places without any luck but was recommended this service which mainly does dog grooming but also day care too. The owner, Bridget was so accommodating and picked up and dropped off at the campsite reception when needed. She sent pics of our dog on the first day with updates to make us feel comfortable that he was happy and settling in well. Was a pleasure to speak with Bridget and her husband and we would not hesitate to recommend them. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you :)
Bridget is one of the very few people we would leave Georgie Girl with. GG is very precious to us and Bridget takes great care with her. Georgie has daycare and is groomed by Dog Designs. I recommend them to everyone I meet. Love them.
I often leave my dog with Bridget. He has a great time and I know he is well looked after and cared for. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

Very reliable and friendly dog walker and boarder. Lee provides an excellent pick up and drop off service. Our border terrier is always excited to see Lee and clearly enjoys his days out and overnight stays.

Such a caring and helpful business. Our dog is a rescue and can be a little nervous but he loves going to Just Purrfect. We started using them when we moved to the area and needed dog boarding while we moved. He now goes there for daycare and grooming. He is always very relaxed when we collect him and goes straight back into his usual routine. Every single member of staff that we have meet there have been incredibly friendly and reassuring. I’m so glad we found them!
The team at Just Purr-fect have been amazing with our 2½ year old rescue girl and take care to match dogs who will play well with each other and complement each others energy levels. She always comes back happy and clearly having had a great time. The team are also great at responding to any questions promptly.

Just Purr-fect are on top when it comes to animal day care and boarding, they regularly look after our Dog and he always has a fantastic time! The staff are fun and friendly and always push to be the best they can be and nothing is ever too much to ask! I emailed to enquire about an appointment with no response for a week, so I decided to call and was met with a rude shove off attitude and that they were no longer taking on new clients so if I were you I wouldn’t bother trying
Our pup absolutely loves his walks with gem, comes back happy and worn out every time. He's always so excited when she arrives. He's also had a groom before and come back smelling much fresher than the groom he had at pets at home! Very much recommended for all your doggy needs!
**ammended** I used this service for around six weeks whilst I was working shifts. The communication from them was terrible and every week I would get billed but I honestly had no proof that they had even turned up. I would have to text asking if he had behaved etc as I had no proof of the walks. I can provide proof of lack of communication and inconsistency of times of (supposed) walks. They were supposed to come during the day but at one point didn't turn up till after 7pm when I was already home, she apologised saying she couldn't fit him in during the day. The last straw was when they left my back gate open and I had to pay almost £600 to get my dog back from kennels after the warden picked him up. We had no builders working that week plus I have received an abusive message from this woman following review. I told her that I couldn't afford further walking because It was easier than telling her that I don't trust her or want her anywhere near my house again. Avoid this company if possible

Our 3 year old Lab Baxter has been going out with Rory almost two years now and he’s a completely different dog. Before Rory he was very dominant, would bark at every dog and almost every person we walked past and had quite a few naughty habits. He’s now incredibly social, gets on with and happily plays with every dog he meets and is very well behaved both out and when at home. It’s all down to Rory and his initial 1-1 training he did, and since then the all important group walks that our dog looks forward to so much he’s whining at the front door ready to sprint out and meet his friends. If you have any behavioural issues or just want your dog to have a proper walk (some walkers round here in Dawlish do an inadequate job) then Rory is for you. He genuinely cares about the welfare of your dog and treats them as his own. We will continue to have our lab go out with Rory and his friends for years to come!
Rory has worked with my dog for over 10 years - training and walking. He and his worker, Andy, are amazing. Kind, responsible, reliable and really care. They understand dogs. I totally trust them with my dog and coming into my home.
Rory has been walking our dogs since he first set up his business. He has been reliable and professional since day one. We would not trust our dogs with anyone else. In my opinion you cannot get better care with anyone else and all the dogs absolutely adore him.
