Sarah was a great host, I stayed with my friend and her baby and she made us feel really at home including baking us a cake! Their home is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need to make your stay really comfortable including a hot tub! I had a lovely evening in the tub with a glass of wine looking at the stars, I live in a city so it was a real treat to see such a clear sky. We had a trip to Lincoln and really enjoyed the local walks with the dogs. Poppy and Percy are adorable 🥰 very friendly creatures who don’t really need a lot except to be around you and cuddles. Percy being a bit older didn’t come on our longer walks but was happy to stay at home. The cats were pretty much as you expect cats to be:) I really recommend this sit if you are looking for a home away from home and some peace and quiet in the countryside.
Rudi must be the most handsome boy ever! He was such a pleasure to look after. He loved his walks, was so good on & off lead. And there are such lovely & varied walks to be enjoyed. Splodge was a breeze even though she’s rather elderly. The pub is to be recommended too! Thank you Denise & Bob for your hospitality & trusting Linda & I to look after your pets & home. I hope I can come back.
Roisin was a lovely host who graciously showed us around the area and offered excellent suggestions for places to see. Flexible, with great communication and taste. Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable, with stunning views, nice neighbours, and a nice location. Ruby was my very first Yorkie and hands down one of my favourite dogs to mind. Though a bit deaf, she's so easygoing, cuddly, and communicative. She's in such fabulous shape, she'll go anywhere with you, as often as you want, and barely seems to tire of walking despite her adorable size. I'd be happy to see these two again and highly suggest this sit.
Jeremy and Hélène are absolutely wonderful, their home is truly special and their pets will steal your heart. I was given very thorough, documented instructions and Jeremy and Helene also took the time to walk me through everything in-person the day before I left. They made me feel totally comfortable to call or reach out if there was anything I was unsure about or if I needed help at all. It's a big property, but they have everything very organized and good processes in place to manage things so if you follow the instructions, you'll be just fine. The Pets: Cat, the adventurous but loving and affectionate wild boy is always ready for some love after he returns from exploring the property. He's very vocal and it truly seems like you're having a conversation with him as he'll 'respond' to any question you ask him. Chutney, or Miss Chutney, the princhepesa is also a very lovable cat ready to lay out in front of you for pets at most moments. She's fluffy and lazy, but also full of spunk. Argo, the dog is an absolute JOY. You can't help but start your days happy when you see the fun he has bounding through the property's many fields and groves of fruit trees. He'll be your little shadow in the best way. He listens well, doesn't beg and has the sweetest human eyes that will melt your heart regularly. I haven't cried when leaving a sit before, but I cried leaving Villa Faena. The whole experience was special and I'm so grateful that Jeremy and Hélène trusted me with their home and beloved pets.
Fiona, Finn and Mac are a real dream team! It was such a pleasure meeting them all. Fiona is a very kind and welcoming person who made me feel at home immediately. Finn is a lovely, calm and very friendly chap. He has a pretty good recall (as long as there are no rabbits involved ;)) and loves cuddles and long walks. He is very well behaved and great with other dogs. Mac is such a fun, strong personality. He is a chatty cuddler who enjoys his food and attention sitting on your lap in the evenings. It was a real pleasure looking after Finn & Mac and also spending time with Fiona. Thanks a lot for everything, I'm looking forward to visit you all & see your new house!
incredible experience, the dogs are super loving, the apartment is beautiful, with all the comforts, I really enjoyed my stay with Sassy and Rocky
