Cat Sitters in Dayton, MD

We've had excellent experiences with zeewoi, but our experiences with Robert and Jane has been absolutely outstanding in all ways - both times they took care of our pets and our house. Our two cats were clearly happy with them - as evidenced by pictures they sent; and they left the house even cleaner and more organized than they found it. If you have the chance to engage Robert and Jane to take care of your pets and property, sign them up right away. They are THE BEST!!!

Devin stayed with Roma over the July 4th holiday and I was glad to have him there in case the fireworks got too loud for her. His communication was fine. He sent some lovely photos of Roma which made me smile. I think he and Roma did fine together. Thanks Devin!

Spandon was able to come meet my cat and see my house a few days before the actual sit. This worked out well due to my early morning departure. The house was exactly like I left it. Spandon sent me pictures of Luna hanging out with him. She looked quite happy to have someone to cuddle with even on a warm summer day.

Julie and Scott were wonderful housesitters. They arrived on time and were in contact with me throughout. They were here during Fourth of July and one of my dogs really struggles with fireworks. Scott and Julie took the time to go get treats etc. to prepare for Fourth of July so that they could do whatever it would take to keep one of my dogs From being so scared. I came back to a clean house with all directions followed, and dogs seemed super happy. I would definitely ask them to come sit again if they ever want to come back to South Georgia!

Maya was a wonderful housesitter. I spoke to her before she came to go over the nuances of my home caring for my pets. She sent pics and communicated frequently. She was kind to my dog and cat, even allowing them to sleep with her...which in my mind went above and beyond the call of duty!! She left my house spotless! I appreciated that I never had to worry about her dependability. Thank you so much, Maya. I would definitely recommend her for other stays with zeewoi.

Sam kept in contact with us and sent pics occasionally. However, the thing that was unacceptable was how little he cleaned the litter box. When we arrived home, my husband checked the litter box as we always do. We have two cats, so it is important that the box is scooped twice a day. This is in my welcome guide. When my husband pulled the litter box out of its holding place, the box was very full of litter, feces, and large clumps of urine. It looked as if the box hadn't been cleaned in days. I immediately messaged Sam and told him that this was unacceptable and we would not have him stay again. (He had asked for another opportunity to stay.) His response was that he scooped the feces once a day and did not realize he was supposed to scoop the whole box. Wow! That response is very disingenuous. It was not worth a response. I would not recommend him if you have cats.

We had almost decided on another housesitter for a recent family vacation when we got a message from Liz, who travels with her dog Buster. Our dogs love other dogs and we thought the addition of a play pal would really help ease any anxiety they had in our absence, even though there’s always a little concern with adding another dog in the mix we decided it was worth a shot and boy did it work out swimmingly! We have always felt that our dogs have been well taken care of with TH, but this is the first time we’ve been away and had daily professional photographic documentation that they were also having mega FUN in our absence! Liz took all the pups out on 3mi minimum hikes every day and facilitated a ton of play and cuddle time at home. I think our girls both fell in love with sweet Buster, he’s 11 so totally mellow and even keeled- he got along perfectly with both Reaux who loves to rough house and Cece who is a lot more mellow. His stint here may help me convince my husband we need another dog! It was a real treat for us to get to travel without any of the usual anxiety that the dogs weren’t getting enough exercise or play time- we are pretty active and they are used to being tired/happy all the time so it’s usually our biggest concern. Liz took such great care of our home and property through two winter storms with several inches of snow, and successfully finished off a 30 course of antibiotics with both of our dogs. We had a little bit of a hectic exit from the house to leave for our trip and she was so sweet to even fold a load of laundry we had in the dryer and take care of a few other loose ends- really above and beyond! As usual with TH- our home was in gorgeous condition when we returned and we couldn’t be more grateful for the respect and attention paid. Thanks Liz for all the love you showed our dogs and our home! And especially for the incredible pics- they were such a treat. Wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Liz and Buster to anyone looking for a great house sitter and dog buddy combo! We’re so thrilled with how well things went we will actively seek out other TH sitters traveling with their pets in the future. 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hope to see you guys again some time! Mirabelle was a wonderful Housesitter, we would absolutely invite her again. She came to our place while we were away for the holidays for a week and watched our Bunny. She’s a lovely person and great with our space and pet. It was easy to communicate with her ahead of time, she showed up on time and as agreed, sent regular short updates throughout the week with photos, and left our place exactly as she found it with sheets in the laundry so we didn’t have to do a thing. Recommend.

Evan was great! I have a high energy puppy who can exhibit some anxious behaviors - I am careful about sitters, but was comfortable having Evan after speaking with him. He was responsible, sent updates, and my pup seemed very well taken care of when I got back. Highly recommend Evan!

Alex and Perry were with our cats for only a weekend. They were great with them and we have no complaint regarding that care. However, communication and cleanliness were not the best.

Julie and Jon did a fantastic job taking care of my two kitties! They were communicative but very self reliant. I ended up extending my trip for a few days and they happily agreed to sit for longer which was a huge help. Would definitely have them back!

I would not hesitate to have Lindsay and Shayne take care of my house and pets. They were so kind and thoughtful, even brightening our return with a vase of sunflowers! They cleaned up better than our housekeeper. Most importantly, they really played with and exercised our Labrador. I could tell from the photos they sent while we were away that he was extremely comfortable and relaxed with two new people in his house. Thank you for being such great Zeewoi!
