So many thanks to Elisabeth for looking after our pets and house. She took great care of the house and garden, and gave so much care and attention to our high-energy, needy dog Rocket. We loved the daily updates she sent and would be happy to have her back for a future sit.

Nicola and Len welcomed me to their lovely home in Fairmont Hot Springs. The view from the front and back of the house is just amazing. Fairmont Hot Springs offers many outdoor summer activities including, boating, paddle boarding, hiking and biking in the summer. It's worth taking a short drive to Invermere to take in the Saturday farmers market and to wonder through the shops.

It was a pleasure taking care of Pippa and Finian, two lively senior terriers. They each have their own unique personalities that you will find endearing. They both like to be close to their humans and will follow you around the house. Pippa wanted her cuddles in the morning and Finian wanted his cuddles in the evening, so pat session worked out well for us all.

Thank you, Nicola, Len, Pippa and Finian for a lovely weekend in the mountains.

We had a great housesit at Redhead. At Mariola and André's invitation we stayed two nights in their beautiful home before their departure. This allowed us some time to get to know them and, especially, begin to bond with their beautiful girls, Mum Prue and daughter Bonnie - two ever delightful, accommodating golden retrievers. The generous orientation also gave us the opportunity to take advantage of Mariola and André's wonderfully warm hospitality, including two home-cooked dinners!
We also enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the Newcastle area a little. We loved our 6 km morning walks with the girls - Redland Beach and the lengthy boardwalk alongside is really special. Exploration tips provided by Mariola and André were also very helpful - we LOVED riding the Fernleigh Track to the Newcastle City Farmers Market at the Showground on Sundays. We also enjoyed our visits to Belmont on Lake Macquarie and other areas further south.
We are missing "our" girls already, so we definitely look forward to a return sit when our respective travels coincide.

I had a lovely weekend stay in the Hampshire countryside in Clares most comfy house. The 2 spaniels were great & so well behaved. I recommend this stay.

The stay in Groningen was wonderful, we were delighted with the Netherlands. Poespas is a loving kitten, at first it was difficult to gain his trust, but in the end he even slept with us. Kristine is a very smiling person and she told us everything the first day we arrived, the house is beautiful and we felt at home. Without a doubt, Groningen kept a little piece of our hearts.

I'm going to start by saying we already miss Ottie and Rexie so much!

We really enjoyed looking after these sweet, friendly and energetic doggos! We took care of them during a Bank holiday weekend, so we gave them our full attention and we're pretty sure they loved it as much as we did.

Every day we took them to a field nearby and just loved watching them happily zoom around on their bunny-like style while chasing the ball. They also enjoyed jumping in a little pond for a quick swim after catching the ball. They could do this over and over again until they eventually got tired!
They are also the sweetest most affectionate dogs and we had the best cuddly nights and warmest welcomes, especially in the mornings when they felt they hadn’t seen us in ages.

The house is amazing. It's comfortable, cozy and has a modern touch to it. The neighbourhood is quiet and there are plenty of nice walks around.

We had excellent communication with Naomi from the start. She was quick to answer and appreciated the pictures of her well-behaved pups having a great time. She made us feel very welcome in her home and kindly offered to give us a lift to the train station after our stay.

Thank you, Naomi, for choosing us to sit for you. Till next time, boys!

Torrie
Toby, Ozzie, and Wednesday were wonderful company and a great sit. Toby is very responsive to command and very friendly. He only got excited when we got startled by dogs behind a fence on our walk and I quickly figured out where they were. Ozzie was social and calm and was quite friendly. He would come by and ask for attention now and then but chill in place the rest of the time. Wednesday was more shy but came to snuggle at night or when watching TV and was very well behaved.

Torrie left great instructions with all the information about her house. Her summary of the pets' attitudes and behavior was perfect and if anything extra cautious. I appreciated all the information and it helped me feel confident especially walking Toby.

Her places is cozy with everything you need in a small space. The office and kitchen were well set up and convenient. There is a grocery store just across the street, good parks within walking distance and some restaurants. She might have a bike available for use and there are some transit options but you probably want a car if you're going to enjoy more than just a brief stay in the city.

Torrie was very responsive when there was a small issue with the air filter and it was quickly resolved. Other than that there were no problems but she was quick to respond if I had a question. I would love to sit again if the opportunity came up!
