Katie and Georgia are two of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. From the moment we met them they were pleasantly welcoming and amazingly generous. They were willing to help us in anyway that made our arrival and our stay more comfortable. They were proud and excited to show us their dogs; Belle, the princess (as we called her) and the energetic brothers, Dave and Alan. We could tell instantly that they had loads of love for their three little ones (well Dave and Alan may not be that little ;)). They showed us right away that Belle, Alan and Dave are very loving and need all that love in return through care and attention, and they deserved it, they were amazing dogs. Belle, Alan, and Dave are the perfect balance of playful energetic fun and fantastic cuddle companions once the playing has come to an end. Katie and Georgia did a great job preparing their home for us so that we would feel entirely comfortable for our housesitting time there. They also took us through their routine for Belle, Alan and Dave and clearly explained their habits and boundaries so that we could do our very best to make Belle, Alan and Dave as comfortable and happy as possible. Culworth is a breathtakingly beautiful village, and we are so grateful to Katie and Georgia for giving us the opportunity to housesit for them so that we could experience this sprawling countryside with a line of beautiful cottages made of ironstone. And to top it all off, there are loads of walking trails or footpaths that will help you explore the picturesque fields. Walking with Belle, Alan and Dave on one's own would be a more challenging task, but with the two of us it was incredibly fun to walk these paths and go through the village with these energetic curious new friends we were caring for. There are also some great off-leash enclosed fields that allowed us to play fully and run around with them, which is perfect because when at the home you'll enjoy these new friends so much you'll want more room to run around and play. We are blessed to have had the chance to housesit for Katie and Georgia. They offered their home to us with no restrictions, they picked us up and dropped us off after our sit, they allowed us use of their kitchen and the food and ingredients in it, including getting soy and almond milk especially for us (as we don't drink regular milk). They even ensured we had the means to travel and get around during the sit, not only for essentials and for the dogs, but for our own benefit, that we might explore the gorgeous surrounding area. These are all things they didn't have to do, they went above and beyond so that we would be in the best position possible to provide the highest level of love and care for their beloved family members, their dogs Belle, Alan, and Dave. And for this reason, it goes without saying that we recommend this house sit from the bottom of our hearts. Gemma is an absolute god send when it comes to our boy Oscar! Oscar has been walking with Gemma for just under a year and I have found her reliable, professional and a real dog lover. Oscar has previously been some what challenging for other walkers but Gemma has reassured me that by working together we get the consistency and commitment that Oscar needs. When I get home Oscar is clearly well exercised and enjoying his nap after his walks. Communication is great and Gemma is very accommodating if we need to change days around due to work commitments. High recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can’t speak highly enough of Gemma. If I were more organised, I would have written a review months ago. My dog adores her and she’s professional, loving and cares for all dogs as if they were her own. I trust Gemma implicitly and feel such relief that my beloved retriever is having such fun when I can’t walk her. It’s brilliant for socialising too. A pup’s play date! Its lovely to know that while I'm at work our dog Arlo is out having the time of his life with Gemma. Gemma is extremely reliable, trustworthy and fantastic value for money as Arlo gets an adventure everyday! The thing thats strikes me most about Gemma is how much she genuinely cares for him and all of her dogs and clients. I could not recommend her highly enough.

So pleased to have found Gemma for my pup Smartie. She came and did a house visit to meet Smartie and chat to me. She then started taking smartie out with other dogs from a young pup and he has just come on leaps and bounds. Well socialised and very responsive to recall. He comes back having had just the best time. When he sees Gemma through the door he cannot get to her fast enough, he just adores her. Gemma is reliable and takes the upmost care of her charges I highly recommend her services.
Gemma is fabulous! Her passion for dogs was very apparent on her 1st meeting my young goldendoodle. They go on a wide variety of walks and I love it when i get photos of their expeditions. When I’m on a long day at work it’s great knowing my dog is having a fun time.Thank you Gemma!

Paula is absolutely amazing with our dog, our spaniel is always so happy to see her and all his new friends and Paula goes above and beyond to fit you in when needed. Best of all our boy comes home tired and content and we get videos of all his adventures each time he goes out.

He was so loved and looked after during his stay there, I felt completely comfortable being abroad knowing he was being so well looked after. I loved the photo updates from Emma, and when I got home I could see just how much my boy loved Emma, her husband and children. Will not hesitate to leave him there again when we go away. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring or kind person to look after our elderly dog woody. Emma made us feel at ease straight away and won our dog over with a piece of chicken on arrival! Emma made sure to update us throughout the day and sent photos of him resting and playing. The best sign was that he was sad when she left!
Emma is the perfect dog-walker and carer; she is so kind, knowledgeable and very professional. I booked her to look after our 3 spaniels for 14 hours on my daughter’s wedding day. She also came along to meet them the day before. Emma was lovely with them and took great care to reassure them during all the wedding chaos as they were unsettled by being in a strange place with lots of noise. One of my dogs was unwell on the day and Emma dealt with her so well. I was very grateful she was there, as were the dogs who really liked her! Emma put in a very long day for us and took the worry away on what was a very special day for our family. I can highly recommend Emma and will definitely be asking her to look after my dogs again. She’s a treasure!
Teddy adores Emma as she is such fun and he loves his walks. As a Cockerpoos he can be full on but Emma gets him to behave correctly. Always reliable and fully knowledgeable about animals. She has also cared for a friends cats. Teddy also enjoys overnight stays. Cannot praise her enough. Lovely lady, great service.
So trustworthy and flexible. We had never used a dog sitter/walker before but Emma took all our worries away. She has looked after our small terrier and retriever pup so well when we are at work and provides us with regular updates. Emma is really professional but also relaxed and friendly - someone you can happily have in your home and helps you feel really at ease with leaving your pets. Even though Emma advertises dog care, and we have a cat, we enlisted her twice this year to come visit our cat at our home every day when we were away. Each trip was 2 weeks long, and Emma fed her and gave her plenty of fuss and attention (when Miss Cat made an appearance...). Emma also kept houseplants from dying and post from piling up. She was totally reliable, irrespective of crazy Devon traffic due to road closures, or dreadful weather. Based on our girl's reaction, Emma is as good with cats as with dogs. We came home each time to a very contented kitty. We have total confidence in Emma and her care for our cat and our home. So pleased we found her! Thank you Emma!
Let me start by saying that I am extremely particular when I choose someone to look after my dogs. They have to be perfect. I have interviewed many people who haven’t made the grade. This may sound harsh, but because I’m asking someone to look after my dogs, who can’t speak and tell me what’s happening, because I have five large/working breed dogs, this has to be someone I feel has enough presence, capability and confidence to manage them. I have to really trust this person. From the second I met Emma, and not only my happy, waggy labs and retriever were pleased to meet her, but my neurotic “gah! New people!” spaniel also wanted to get involved, I just knew. I was leaving my dogs with Emma whilst we were all on holiday, so I had to have extra confidence in her as I wasn’t near my vet etc. I didn’t doubt her for one minute. Emma is lovely! She’s kind, caring, flexible, punctual, calm, understanding, professional and just all in all lovely! (She also takes great pictures of your pooches!) My daughter met Emma the second time she looked after the boys for us and she said “I know exactly why you trust Emma, she’s got that good person vibe. I know why you trusted her with the dogs straight away.” And that’s it really. Emma is brilliant. If you’re looking for someone to look after your dogs in The South Hams, then may I recommend Emma? Because you really won’t find anyone better.

Emma looked after Bear for us when we needed to be out for day but couldn’t take him with us. He is very particular about who he likes and dislikes but took to her immediately and didn’t miss us at all. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Beach Buddies have been looking after our dog, Bruce, for over 5 years and the fact he gets beyond excited as we turn into their road speaks volumes. It truly is home from home and the love and attention he receives is outstanding. Our dog is family and finding the right care is so important. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Booked our 2 dogs, toyah (Yorkshire terrier) and monty (labradoodle) in for the day. 01/07/21 found clare to be very knowledgeable, caring and very helpful. If your on holiday and need someone to look after your dogs, I highly recommend beach buddies.
Disgusting behaviour of waiting till dog owners have flown out the country to then say they are kicking dog out...... Withholding money leaving owners in a very distressed state. Deletes reviews on page and any negative feedback which misleads people into be leaving they offer a 5* service. Absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour from a business Have edited this as cannot respond to your reply.... I think you should take this up with the dog owner rather than assume I am the owner (which I'm not) ... The reason you state on here is not the reason they were given, this review is based on the way they have been treated and not given time to find alternative accommodation for him. And you do delete posts from your page as they have been removed and people blocked. There are always problems in business but the way they are delt with effects your reputation, maybe this should have been considered rather than leaving a family distressed 100's of miles away in another country the day after they fly out!
Our boy had a blast, and we felt very happy that he'd been looked after by people who really care about the dogs.
Mr Bob my 8 month old Labrador goes to Oh My Dog every week when I’m working. Juliet and Eugene have created an amazing facility for the dogs where they play and socialise. Juliet has helped me so much with advice along the way with Bob. I love the photos and videos I get sent of him during the day. He loves Jules he can’t wait to get in her van when he sees her 🖤🐾 I would highly recommend their business for your dog. I totally trust Bob in their care 💯
My 2 young rescues absolutely love it here! Juliet and Eugene obviously genuinely care for all the dogs and know them really well. I always feel like I'm leaving them in safe hands. They come back exhausted from adventures in the woods and playing on the equipment which is great! Highly recommended.
My puppy Teddy went to Oh My Dog for daycare while we were camping near by. Juliet was kind, accommodating and supportive throughout and Teddy had a lovely time. I highly recommend oh my dog, especially for those who aren't a fan of putting their pups in kennels!
Highly recommended Oh My Dog. Juliet and Eugene are lovely people who definitely care about the health and overall wellbeing of your dog when under their care. They have been very accommodating with our Great Dane who has been going now for several months and thoroughly enjoys it, and we are content knowing that she is well looked after. Juliet and Eugene provide updates, videos and photos during the day and are upfront and honest if any issues arise. Happy dog and owners 😊.
Juliet and Eugene have created something truly special with Oh My Dog. We have a sweet and very nervous rescue, plus we are first-time dog owners with our own confidence issues, none of which were judged or dismissed by these wonderful kind folk. Juliet made me and our girl Alice feel safe and welcome immediately, and went above and beyond to help us acclimate. We visited multiple times, increasing her time in the facility with each session based on observing her behaviour and body language. I learnt so much! While it is still unclear if Alice will ever be fully joyful to enter a roomful of dogs, her confidence and ours have been positively impacted by this kind of safe socialisation in ways that have changed our lives. Our trust in each other has grown, our bond is stronger and this has opened so many doors for her quality of life to increase. Thanks to her 'exposure therapy' with Juliet and all the other gorgeous pups at Oh My Dog, Alice has now made multiple new dog friends locally, and is enjoying off-lead time at a dog-friendly beach. I don't think these things could have happened without Oh My Dog, and Juliet and Eugene's wisdom, generosity and kindness.
We are so fortunate to have found Juliet and Eugene at Oh My Dog, they are the most kind, caring, gentle and lovely humans and have an amazing passion for dogs which was apparent from the moment we met them. Our whippet has been spending one day a week with them for over a year and is always very happy to go in when we drop him off. He has such a good time enjoying lots of play, socialisation, an afternoon snooze and enjoys lovely woodland walks each day where he can let off some steam with zoomies. Juliet and Eugene are so knowledgable about dogs and their behaviour and personalities and we completely trust them with our dog who means the world to us! Absolutely cracking service, friendly staff and a great environment for the dogs; our little sprocker spaniel Tilly had a fab day here playing with the other dogs and the staff. She was worn out! We received lots of updates and videos which helped settle our minds whilst our pup was “in nursery” lol thank you so much for fitting us in!
We can't recommend "Oh my Dog" enough. We were looking for a place where we could drop our dog off whilst we explored the area looking for our new house. We took our little Jack Russell to see Juliet and Eugene initially for half a day to see how she would get on. She had a great time interacting all the other dogs and we booked her in for several more sessions. Both Juliet and Eugene adore dogs and are patient and caring. It's a shame we are moving to a different area as we're going to find it hard to find a place as good as theirs. Thank you to both of you.
Excellent care of our family dog! Extremely friendly and helpful and our dog loved every minute here! Then taken home to be looked after in family home which is brilliant. We could enjoy our holiday knowing he was well looked after. So good, he’s already booked in again! Thank you
I am never normally happy with leaving my little chihuahua, but seeing how happy and excited she is when we arrive is so nice. All the team are lovely and the dogs are so well looked after, they literally treat them as their own. Can not recommend enough.
I was so nervous about sending my puppy to doggy day care. However it’s the best choice I’ve made, my miniature dachshund absolutely loves it, pictures and updates are provided throughout the day! He comes back happy but exhausted too from all the playing! He’s made lots of friends and I could not recommend them enough. Pugs and Pals, where can I start ? Our rescue Loki has been going regularly for just shy of a year now & the team at P&P have been so patient and welcoming of Loki. They have really helped him socialise in a safe, calm way with other dogs & humans! They are great with Loki when we’ve needed extra support , or odd days here and there. We receive regular updates & photos of Loki enjoying his time at daycare. Forever thankful to the team at Pugs and Pals.
Always leave out golden with pugs and pals when we go on holiday. He absolutely loves it there and we can relax knowing the he is loved and well looked after. Pugs and Pals Daycare is absolutely wonderful. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I know my dog is safe and well cared for here by well trained staff. Absolutely brilliant, so friendly and loving towards my Rupert. I use a activity tracker on my dog and this is the most active and adventurous I've seen him at a daycare. The daily photos are also so lovely

My pooch loves it, he gets a play day, I don't have to worry about him, they get taken to a paddock so can run off lead in a secure environment, he gets a lovely day playing with friends and comes home nicely worn out. Amazing place and lovely people.
I had to leave my darling little Teddy for the first time ever with Jo as a dog sitter and I have to say initially I was so apprehensive as he has always been looked after at home. I could not have been more happy and cannot thank Jo enough. Teddy had the time of his life, made amazing fur friends, was taken on lovely walks and even developed some new passions that I never knew he had! Jo sent loads of videos and texts whenever I asked how he was and I truly cannot be more happier. Ted came back with a spring in his step , totally relaxed and contented to the extent I worry he is bored now he is home! To see him snuggled in with her dogs and having such a good time made my holiday go so much more smoother knowing he was in capable, loving and superb hands. I have met Jo on several occasions when she has brought her client’s dogs to me for grooming. Jo always goes above and beyond with dogs in her care, she has a very caring nature and has rescue dogs herself, she understands dogs needs and behavioural patterns. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone to care for and exercise their fury friend.
Jo is a fantastic caring person who has a vast canine knowledge and our 2 dogs are always excited to see her which says it all. Would highly recommend and is much nicer than putting your dog into a kennel especially if they are rescue dogs, which she has a lot of knowledge about.
