April was from the start a perfect fit for what we needed, she arrived bang on the time she said she would which was especially impressive given the distance she had traveled and the amount of flights she needed to take. She immediately developed a rapport with our very selective cat and we felt confident in leaving her in charge whilst we traveled to the other side of the world. April kept the perfect amount of contact, leaving us to enjoy ourselves but with the occasional picture to show pips was happy too. We came home to a perfectly maintained home, even though we had said to her that pips was the priority and we weren’t concerned about the house too much, it was very welcome to come back to such a clean and tidy house. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone and would gladly have her back at anytime
It was such a joy to care for Chester. He is a cute, happy, loving, well-behaved and also very cuddly dog. I enjoyed going on a hike and playing with him in the garden. Penny and Randy are so loving, welcoming and friendly people. They have a lovely clean and organized place that has everything you need to make you feel at home. There is a beautiful garden to chill and enjoy the hot tub. There are plenty of hiking trails and lakes nearby. It's a nice area to explore. I would love to see Chester again. I highly recommend the sit with Chester!
We would absolutely recommend this sit. Paul and Jo are a lovely couple who are very easy to get along with. They went over all details and needs for Alfie, Darcy and Bertie. They took the time to thoroughly show us around the house, as a result we felt really confident throughout the sit. It was also good to have an evening meal with them and hear about their love for travel and their vast career experience! The house itself is lovely and has a very homely feel, there is an office space and another desk in one of the other bedrooms which came in handy as we both work from home. Marks and Spencers and Costa Coffee shop are a 10 minute walk away. There is also a hospital 10 minutes away but hopefully you don't need it! Most importantly Alfie, Darcy and Bertie were an absolute pleasure to look after we enjoyed getting to know them. Alfie is calm and cool like James Bond, Darcy is smooth and curious like a Bond girl and Bertie is an absolute little softie who has the biggest purrrr motor. All three of them are quite easy going and like to be nearby, which we loved. We would happily come back in a heartbeat as long as dates align! Johanna and Neil x
Krish sent detailed instructions before I arrived which made entry and navigation really easy. He ensured I was comfortable in the condo which I was. It's in a great location in PDR, just a 15 minute walk to the beach and the main drag. Milo is really fun and sweet, and Lilu is also a great companion. This was a great sit in a laid back beach town. Great experience!
So this was a seven-star sit. THS doesn’t give us enough stars! Bob and Ann were warm, welcoming and gracious. Their house is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located. The Villages might be the best sit location anywhere. It has everything you need only a short golf cart ride away: groceries, restaurants, entertainment, sports, the list is endless. The neighborhood is great with very friendly, welcoming neighbors. I had a cat escape issue during the sit and the neighborhood was out helping me find the cat! And about that cat; Willy is a cat with personality. It took a couple of days for him to warm up to me, but after that he was great. Fun, playful and loving. And finally, Cooper. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog. He was pretty much my shadow whenever I was home. It was hard to leave him. I would highly recommend this sit.
The beginning was difficult because there were already 2 sitters there before me and the situation was definitely not what it should be. Ana, the owner of the dogs, had no one on site who could manage these problems. But despite the time difference, she was reachable via video call and there was still contact to find a solution. We improvised and some things worked well, some things didn't. We are in contact with TrustedHousesitters to clarify the situation. Zoona and Lua are very sweet dogs and we had a lovely time together. But there are a few things to consider that are not in the WelcomeGuide, so it is recommended to ask in more detail about the dog training not according to German standards and Lua's fearfulness, which only became apparent upon my departure when Ana was on the plane.

We have been using Becky's pet sitting for 8 years for our dog, "Doug". Doug always is ready to see Becky, and her dogs, and loves it there. When we pick him up he is happy, clean, and well cared for. He has a strict diet and medication and Becky has always managed this well. We find her price of $35 a day to be a bargain for the quality of care Doug receives.
I can not recommend Becky's Pet Sitting enough. Becky saved us in a pinch when we had to relocate our pup while on vacation at the very last minute, then was kind enough to respond to our check-ins promptly and with great pictures and video. Our dog was quite happy playing in Becky's backyard with Becky's own dog, and you can't beat her prices - quite affordable for the quality of care. If you're in the area and need some short-term boarding for your small pup, I really can't recommend Becky enough.
Our two dogs received excellent care with Becky even during a major snowstorm and power outage. She is calm and kind and was well prepared with a generator. We knew our pups were doing well under her care. We will definitely use her services again!
I would highly recommend Becky for all of your dog boarding needs. I feel so lucky to have found Becky! I have a 2 year old hound dog that can be too high energy for people to deal with, I kept expecting a phone call saying it wasn’t working out, but to my surprise Becky handles Arlo very well and seems to have a great relationship with him just like I do! It was an unexpected and added benefit that Becky also works on leash training with him (very important issue). I suddenly noticed he was getting better and better on the leash and I couldn’t believe it. My dog is always happy and tired when he comes home from Becky’s and he is ALWAYS excited to go back! I think he now thinks of Becky as a second mom and he loves her so much, you can tell by how excited he is to go to her house! I couldn’t imagine a better situation for us! There are a lot of options nowadays when it comes to dog boarding but Becky’s Dog Boarding is #1 in our family and I would encourage you to try it too! Becky is wonderful and I am so glad to have her in our lives!
Becky has been a lifesaver. We tried other local boarding options with less than desirable results. Our dog is always happy to see Becky and comes home well loved, clean and happy. We have been taking our dog to Becky for over two years, several times per year and she has always been available to take him even if short notice. We love Becky and would highly reccomend!
Thank goodness for Becky! I love her in home pet care service. Now we don’t have to worry about if our dogs are stressed out in a kennel boarding facility. We know our dogs are being cared for in a home setting and we can feel better about having to leave out of town. A previous review said she was rude but I believe they mistook her “to the point professionalism” the wrong way because she’s very nice. She’s just making sure all dogs are vaccinated and neutered for her safety as well as every pet that stays with her!
I’ve been taking my Australian Shepherd, Mattie, to Becky’s for 12 of her 14 years. The first two years I took Mattie to 2 other boarding facilities and was always apprehensive about her condition when I dropped her off, she was stressed out and reluctant to enter the facilities. When I would pick her up she was frequently was overly excited, lost weight and could take a couple of days to recover. I never had these problems with Becky. Mattie would always gladly trot beside her when I dropped her off and she would run to me when I picked her up looking happy and healthy. I would highly recommend Becky’s Pet Boarding. Another review mentioned Becky had been rude to the reviewer. Becky has always been very professional with me and great with my dog.
Magnolia, our 16 month old girl, was greatly taken care of!!! It was the first time for her(and us) and we were all a bit nervous….but Becky took absolutely excellent care of our girl!!! Definitely recommend and definitely will use Becky in the future!!! Awesome.
I had to go away for a few days and couldn't take and my old beagle with me. Becky responded to my email query very quickly, her rates are great, and she takes excellent care of the pets. She has an enclosed yard for them, and takes care to make sure they are properly vaccinated before accepting them into her care. Can't recommend her any higher!
Great thanks to Google for being able to find the best doggie day care imaginable. From day one, Becky's Pet Sitting has given me the piece of mind to drop the dogs off knowing they were in loving, caring hands. Becky has been caring for my dogs six days a week for over a month. When we turn off Brunswick onto her street the dogs start wagging their tails in anticipation! My highest recommendation!!!
Stacey and her family have become our beloved dog’s 2nd family. He loves coming to their property so much! She has taken care of him on a regular basis since he was a puppy, which has made it possible for us to do the traveling we need to do to visit family out of the area, knowing we could leave our dog with her and feel confident about his well-being while we are away. She cares deeply for every dog, tunes into them and their individual personalities, and is very empathic with both people and dogs. She is well aware of their dynamic as a pack, and makes sure to manage every dog’s well-being while they are under her care. She pays attention, and is very caring and comforting. We consider her our dog’s Godmother!
Our dog instantly loved the resort, and we feel so comfortable leaving him there. Stacey has been very welcoming and flexible and is a great communicator, and our dog returns pleasantly tired from all the play time.
Our dog Bandit had a great stay at the Crooked Rooster Dog Resort! They sent me regular pictures of him and daily communication about how he was doing. When I picked him up he looked super happy and tired from playing with all the other dogs. Will definitely use their services again in the future!
The Crooked Rooster Dog Resort is the ideal place for dogs. My dogs loved their time with Stacey. She is a real life dog whisperer. There is so much room for them to run around and so many friends to play with. Stacey treats every dog like they are family, even my lab puppy who ran through the garden and enjoyed barking at nothing what so ever before even the rooster woke up. It is such a great feeling to know that when we have to leave our dogs, they are not only safe and cared for, but blissfully happy. Highly recommend!!

Both my dogs and I always always have a great experience at this location. The hosts are very knowledgeable and kind. Stacey seems to know just what my puppers need for the day. Some times is lots of attention, too the freedom to just be a dog with all their friends that come. She also picks up on things for follow up with me in pick up times to ensure their best doggy life ever!
Our dog has been staying with Stacy for years – from being an energetic pup to a more mellow 9 year old. In all ages, he’s always been excited to come play, and always happily tired when we pick him up. He loves the large yard to play with other dogs in or to have quiet time investigating on his own. We trust Stacy and family with him when we’re on long trips and out of the country, knowing she’ll make good judgement calls if needed and give him nurturing TLC at his home-away-from-home.
We always take our dog to The Crooked Rooster whenever we are away. Stacey is kind and gentle we know our pup is well cared for. There is a very large fenced area for the dogs to run and play. Highly recommended for anyone needing care for their dog(s) while they are away, overnights or even just for the day!

The Crooked Rooster Dog Resort is our #1 doggie day and overnight care in the Grass Valley area. Our dog Rocket is always so excited when being boarded at The Crooked Rooster. If my pup is happy, then I am happy. What a great find! Kirsten and Mike took such wonderful care of my 10 year old pup (Monkey). This was the first time Monkey stayed at the Wolf Road Pet Retreat and will not be the last. Kirsten was so easy to work with when scheduling Monkey's stay. My vacation plans were up in the air so I ended up changing around dates - but Kirsten was so accommodating. The dogs are allowed to hang on the couch, sleep in their bed (if pups wanted to) and run around the house as if it was theirs. Kirsten and Mike treat all visiting dogs as if they are their own. Extremely happy with Wolf Road Pet Retreat and highly recommend.
Highly recommend! I am a petsitter and really needed a petsitter while I had to take a trip out of the country and this was a perfect fit. My 2 small dogs had so much fun with the other dogs in their care! The dogs are in the home with them and they have access to an outdoor patio area and play yard. No cages or kennels. Kristen was amazing, she sent me photos and videos of my pups every day. It was hard to go out of town because I would miss them so much them, but I felt very good about their care and knew they were safe, getting exercise and being loved on. We were in town for a couple days, and needed care for our dog Kaia on two separate occasions. Kirsten was super communicative, easygoing, and offered wonderful care for our dog. Each day Kaia came back very happy :), and we had total peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.

We were going out of town for 3 nights and Wolf Road Retreat was close by and thought we would give a try for our Chanel(cat). I'm very picky and was nervous but Kristin shared photos and videos throughout the day and was in contact stating all was OK. Chanel seemed very happy which of course we were (are) happy. My dog is an active husky and slightly timid/anxious without me around. After a recent escape adventure from a friends house, I was really nervous to board him anywhere but had to leave someone suddenly for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Gina had space, as Dogwoods Resort was the only place I was really willing to consider. Gina is so good with the dogs, and the property is absolutely perfect, with large fenced areas for them to run around. Being a helicopter mom, I went in for a meet and greet before our reservation and after seeing the place and meeting Gina, any concerns I may have had were put at ease knowing that my dog would be safe, have lots of room to play, and could be social with other dogs. He came home dirty, tired and happy and that is exactly what I wanted for my pup. I know it can be hard to get a booking, but I understand why - I wouldn’t want to leave my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been taking my dogs to Dog Woods for at least 10 years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The property is beautiful and I know Grizzly is being well cared for and having fun all day with the other dogs. When he comes home he sleeps for hours. It is not your typical daycare. Gina does a really fantastic job. Communication is excellent and it's easy to book a reservation. Grizzly loves Dog Woods. He will be back often.
Our fur babies love going to Auntie Gina's! They will vocally express their excitement and wag their tails once we turn onto the road leading to Dog Woods. We miss them while we are away, but know they are extremely well taken care of and most of all loved. Jeff and Dalaina
I have brought my Great Dane here many times, Gina takes amazing care of my dogs, and all of the dogs in her care. Easy booking, great communication, and lovely facility. If your dog needs a place to have fun while you’re on vacation this is the place to go.
Our pups have stayed with Dog Woods several times over a couple of years. We have a rescue that is overly cautious of new people, but is excited every time we pull up to the Resort. Moose, Pua, and their humans 100% recommend.

Great place for our two dogs to have a vacation while we were on vacation. Beautiful open space for the dogs to roam, play and run. Our dogs were well cared for, communication was superb, and the web service for scheduling, notifications, and overall ease of use for us was fabulous. My pup Gideon LOVES DWR! He gets SO excited every time we pull up to the property and shows Gina all kinds of love when he see's her. His humans love DWR too! Booking his visits is super easy and the communications around confirmations, payment, etc. is fantastic! DWR is PAWSOME!
Dogwoods is unlike the normal commercial dog boarding places. Your dog is not just another $ sign here. They take the time to get to know their clients and the clients parents. Dogwoods also makes accommodations for dogs with special needs and senior dogs who need a little more attention. You can rest, assured your dog will be in great hands and allow to enjoy your vacation knowing your dog go is having a blast and is being well cared for!

We have been using Sophia regularly this summer to take care of our large dog Nash when we travel and we are so happy to have found her! Sophia is our go-to sitter when we need to leave the dogs at home. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are taken care of while we are away. She not only takes care of the dogs, but has been great about watering plants when needed and always makes sure our house is safe and secure while we are gone. We have been using Auburn Kennels for at least ten years. The animals love it and the care is wonderful.
My dog loves to go to auburn kennels. When I pick her up she always heads back to the door to go back in. She doesn’t want to leave. That makes me feel so good knowing she loves it. The staff is friendly, professional and they love dogs and cats. The kennel is in a beautiful area of auburn, hilly with lots of trees. I wouldn’t leave my pets anywhere else. I would chsnge my plans so my dog could stay there.

We have been boarding our 2 pointers at Auburn Kennels for 5-7 days at a time over the last several years and have never had a bad experience. The owners are incredibly responsible and easy to get ahold of. Our latest need involved a family emergency on Christmas day. They were willing to arrange a special drop off and accommodated our dogs with only a same day notice in an effort to help us out. So thankful for a place like this that we can rely on without worry.

We have been boarding our dog Boomer (my 4th child) with Auburn Kennels since he was about 8 months old and I can honestly say that when he is boarded there, with the amazing, caring staff and other dogs I do not worry about his welfare for one moment! The space is large, they have pools in warmer weather for the dogs to play in, the runs and kennel area are clean and big enough for our 100 lb pup to romp and sleep comfortably. Boomer is excited to go and visit everyone and he is excited to come home and sleep for a day or so after his play date! We highly recommend Auburn Kennels, amazing people and all of the dogs that Boomer plays with are wonderful with him.

I know my dog is treated well and has plenty of room to play and a space to get away from others when needed.. The location is beautifully tucked into the Auburn hills. Heated kennels in the Winter, and swamp cooled int he Summer.
Wonderful place!!! Our dog had so much fun! You can tell the owners care about every animal that comes to their facility. They carefully consider personalities and take great care of them!!!
Was so lucky to have found Stacey! Just moved to the area and was worried about who was going to watch them. Stacey was great, stopped by to get to know the kitties, their schedule and personalities. Stacey also checked in each day with updates and photos. I felt secure knowing they were all taken care of. Looking forward to my next trip knowing I won’t have to worry about them.

Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!

They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.
I am so grateful for Pawsome Pet Services. They have cared for my 3, and now 2 (RIP Miss Roxy), fur babies since 2018. One of my pooches is blind and the other is deaf. Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. We will definitely be using Pawsome Pet Services again and I am recommending them to our family and friends.
Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!
Pawsome Pet Services is the best! Stacey and Steven are wonderful people who truly love animals. They have welcomed our dog in their home multiple times and he is always excited to see them. It is wonderful to have peace of mind when we travel, knowing our animals are well cared for and loved!
