When we received a number of applicants for our summer trip, we chose Meagan and David based on their many great reviews. Boy did they live up to those reviews! We couldn't have been happier with M & D. They took fantastic care of our three babies, our home and our plants. Meagan was a great communicator the whole time, and both of them were really kind people who we felt comfortable with immediately. Since our flight was canceled due to storms and rebooked for the following day, we "moved" back home and we all very comfortably stayed at the house together. They were so considerate of our stressful situation and gave us more than enough space to relax and regroup. Our super shy kitty warmed up to them right away and we felt we were leaving our puppy, two cats, home and plants in really good hands for the three weeks we were gone. Our place was immaculate when we came home, and days after our return, we're still texting photos and friendly messages to our new friends.
Loved taking care of these two pups. They are charming, funny and well-behaved. Brian was welcoming enough to pick us up at the airport and to leave us dinner for our first night's stay. The house and gardens are lovely.
If you are looking for a quiet, picturesque countryside retreat there is no finer place for it. Situated in stunning landscapes with breathtaking walks on public footpaths all around, the property is a true country idyll, accessible by country lanes and tucked out the way of any noise or busy traffic, whilst being near enough to Malvern or Worcester for any amenities you may need. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I loved the large garden and peace. All of the animals were very well behaved and Madge is an absolute delight to take care of. Though I took care of the garden, sheep, chickens cats and dog, Kathryn is experienced in having sitters so everything was extremely well prepared and practical which made things run incredibly smoothly. The daily jobs were completed quickly because everything was ready to go. Madge loves to be walked as long as you are willing and makes for a lovely companion. Hoping it is not my last visit!
What a fantastic sit! Mark and Diane are very nice, communicative, and accommodating. They picked me up from the train station the night before to familiarize myself with the house and routine. Also shared a meal with their family that live close by- made me feel like a part of their family! Bailey is such a sweet and energetic puppy. There was never a dull moment with her fun personality. We would go on walks around the neighborhood and there are plenty of walking paths and green spaces to enjoy. Would also play fetch/chase in their lovely garden. The home is comfortable and well stocked. Had a nice room with en-suite. Felt safe being in the neighborhood. Very conveniently located as you are under 15-20 minute walk to get to grocery stores, village, and train stations (easy to get to Leeds and York). Would definitely recommend a pet sit here!
Jena reached out and we were delighted to visit Victoria BC. Cocoa and Nouille were immediately friendly, rarely barked and encouraged cuddles at every opportunity. Home was located in a quiet residential cul de sac with access to stores and restaurants within minutes. We had everything we needed to make it a comfortable sit including a well equipped kitchen Beach time was “Scamper time” with Nouille chasing and fetching thrown sticks while Cocoa examined everything in great detail. Car travel was a breeze. We had great internet communication with Jena before and throughout the sit. Jena assisted with Airport pick up and drop off which was greatly appreciated. Fabulous family with the cutest cuddliest pets. Rocket and Pumpkin are the best companions. They love walkies and there was such a choice of beautiful romps in the countryside but I think they loved snuggles even more. The house is beautiful with a superb garden for the pups to lounge, play and snooze in. We gave the tennis court a good go, but the dogs were useless ball-pooches! Thank you so much Alice, David and Jemima for your kindness and especially the yummiest mushroom risotto EVER, we adored looking after your babies and immaculate home.
