Thank you to Juliet for having us stay and look after Mr Winston on our first visit to Hawke’s Bay!

Winnie is a gentle boy who is very easy to look after and very easy to love. He enjoys human company, snoozing and treats (he won’t let you forget) and is a really friendly and charming character. It has been a pleasure hanging out with him.

What this website doesn’t emphasise enough is the incredible opportunity of meeting and making friends with the owners of the pets you look after. Juliet is a super hospitable, open-hearted and just plain cool person who we are sorry to have not met sooner, especially considering Yuvani worked opposite a shop previously owned by her in London!

As our sits for Juliet were straddled either side of a weekend, Juliet was very kind to have us staying in between and we were very lucky to also spend this time getting to know her. She showed us how to live like a local in Hawke’s Bay, took us to Hastings Farmer’s Market and organised a fantastic cheese and wine tasting for us. We loved dinners with her where we sat talking about food and the curiosities of the world in her stunning home.

Thank you so much for the brilliant stay!
