This was a phenomenal sit, the whole family is wonderful and Jasper... I totally felt in love with him. Great dog, good company, odedient, polite when on walks and funny. The house is located only two minutes from the most lovely desused railway path, the Parkland Walk where you can walk all the way to Finsbury Park. Highgate tube and village are only few minutes away. A great selection of green spaces nearby: Highgate Woods, Waterlow Park, Highgate Cemetery and Hampstead Heath. The house has been refurbished recently: is ample, beautiful, bright and very comfortable. The kitchen has very modern and efficient appliances, with great foldable doors to enjoy the woodland views. Claire and family kindly gave me some delicious thank you gifts, it was lovely to see them on their return. Communication was easy and a family group was set up on WhatsApp for us to stay in touch. The girls were so lovely replying to my posts about Jasper. I highly recommend this sitting, great hosts, lovely house and a gorgeous pet. I hope to stay in touch and will sit again if invited. Deirdre was a great host. She gave me a detailed overview of all that I needed to know for her sit, and was extremely generous - collecting me from the bus station, and even providing food for me, which was very much welcomed. Her home is lovely, very comfortable, and on a bus route into town as well as close to lots of lovely walks and scenic places. As for Ollie, well I fell in love with him on day one. He's such a character! Although he did pull on walks to start with, we quickly got to know each other and became inseparable. In addition to his daily walks, we also walked round the garden together at regular intervals, me keeping up my steps, him chasing birds, and enjoyed each other's company immensely. He's a bit of a cuddle bug too, and enjoys tummy rubs and head scratches; not moving until he's had enough! Absolutely recommended. Thanks so much to Deirdre and Ollie.
I had a fabulous time watching Bob! He does have quite the personality. It took a good two days for him to warm up to me. I recommend just leaving him alone and sharing the space together in the beginning, he doesn't like to be touched right away. Overtime, he opened up more and more and it ended with us cuddling on the bed together and him inviting me to touch him anytime I approached. He's really a good dog, just needs to adjust for a bit. Alex's place is adequate and has everything you need to go about daily life. The outside patio is amazing and has the best view, it basically doubles the apartment. The location is great, bus stops into Lisbon city center are a block or two away, and the main area of Belem is just a 20 minute walk from the flat. Within a stone's through, there is a grocery store, laundry, snack shops, and cafes. I would love to come back and hang out with Bob again in Lisbon.
Zorro & Mars are wonderful dogs! They are brothers and their behaviour is marvellous- you can release them for play in the park and they always will come back to you, they have really good learned their commands and they are a team when they play each other, generally Zorro catch the ball and Mars bring it to you except when Mars run more fast😋😋- you always will have fun 100% with them, they have a cuttie personality too at home, I am gonna miss how Zorro sleep underneath my bed and he always wake me up in the morning with cuddles and kisses! ☺️ On the other hand, Mars is such a lovely boy who needs a lot of love and protection, he gets scared of other dogs but he’s so genuine and good and he’s always ready to play and Zorro follows him!! Both reclaim attention to you to play and they have a brother pattern haha they get jealous each other if you touch one of them more than the other, you will feel like a queen full of love 🥰 Zorro is so sweet too and he will be the first to have cuddles in the sofa if you call him 🥰 I liked spend time with both ❤️ Zoe also is a wonderful host, she has made me feel comfy all the time, communication was good and the treatment excellent. I recommend to everyone try this sit besides the house is so luxurious and with a pretty decoration, the surroundings are quite fancy and its a good neighbourhood to stay with good communication to the city center! We have honestly had the most wonderful two weeks at Fenn’s! Fenn and her family are so lovely and we absolutely fell in love with Dolly, Wilma and Mouse. They are the sweetest girls and were such beautiful company. We will miss them terribly. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home x

They took great care of my zoo while I was out of town. My dog & cat loved them and it was a great relief to not have to worry about them during my trip. Board at Your Own Risk. No Liabilities, No Insurance and the Owner May Have You Arrested. On June 17, 2017, the next to last day of boarding my Belgian Malinois puppy, Starr Pet Resort left a message on a phone number that I specifically had told them not to use informing me that my dog’s leg had been injured. I was able to retrieve the message and come back a day early to pick my dog up at the hospital where she had been left. I was told that depending on treatment, the bill would be between $2,000 and $4,000. Jim Brock, owner of Starr Pet Resort, initially refused to pay any portion of the bill saying it was just an accident, although he had only given vague, conflicting explanations as to what happened. He also threatened both my girlfriend and I that this was a criminal matter and he was reporting it to the sheriff to have me arrested if I did not pay for his week of boarding immediately by providing him with my credit card information. He also refused to release my dog’s collar, tags and leash left at Starr Pet Resort. Jim had presented me with a contract for signature when I dropped of my dog on June 9, 2017. He stated that it was an “authorization to get medical care if needed”. In reality it was a liability waiver which states that Starr Pet Resort is not liable for anything that happens to your pet, and if they are found liable, it is only for a maximum of $500, or the value of the pet, whichever is LESS. None of these waivers are mentioned on the company’s website, nor was I advised of them prior to drop off even though I had visited the kennel in person and made a reservation over a month before boarding. I made at least five written requests for information regarding the injury. These requests included video records as they advertise they have 24 hour surveillance, a written statement from the person with my dog when the injury occurred and the name of their insurance provider. These requests were all ignored. I did receive an offer for a maximum of $2,000 from Starr Pet Resort on June 20, 2017. The offer may, or may not have covered my dog’s medical bills, but I did not know as it was very early in her treatment. The offer included a condition that I never say anything that they considered false or defamatory or pay damages in the amount of $5,000 for each violation. They broke my dog’s leg and then threatened to have me arrested. I could not agree to these terms. Despite several written requests, I never heard from Starr Pet Resorts after June 20, 2017, until I saw them in Small Claims’ Court on September 11, 2017. The only additional evidence they brought was a note from the girl who was playing with my dog when the supposed accident occurred. It was dated almost three months after the incident even though I had requested this back in June. It also turns out that their insurance does not cover pets. They are a kennel. What does their insurance cover?
We have been staying with Starr Pet for 2+ years and we love them so much! My Frenchie Ernestine loves it from the moment she arrives to see Uncle Jim and Sandi to her private nature walks (an optional add on she loves). The team is very attentive to Ernie, great at communicating updates and sharing pics. They are very professional, organized and treat Ernestine like family. Our cat loves staying at Starr Pet Resort when we are away from home. Jim and Sandy take very good care of her when she stays with them. Her room at the pet resort is always clean and comfortable. The whole cat area of the resort is immaculate and the pet owners are welcome to come in and see where their pet is staying as well as see the entire cat area. Both Jim and Sandy are well aware of each animal's condition throughout their stay and monitor each pet often. They treat each pet as an individual and get to know their personalities. We recommend Starr Pet Resort for pet owners whenever their pet needs to stay away from home. We feel confident that any issues that arise during our absence will be addressed and our pet will be safe and well taken care of.
I have a rescue dog who is anxious around new people and other animals. He was nervous at drop off, but in such high spirits after leaving Starr pet resort. Our two English Bulldogs Love coming to Starr Pet Resort its always a treat for them. We started bringing both of our bulldogs when they were small puppies and they visit now on a monthly basis. El Guapo our largest Bulldog 3 years cannot wait to get out of the car to stay at the resort and now our newest addition bulldog puppy 6 months also loves coming to the resort. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. Jim, Sandy and the staff are great and we wouldn't take our two Bulldog family members anywhere else, Thanks Starr Pet Resort!
We regularly take our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to the Starr Pet Resort. They love going there and are always happy to see the resort owners on arrival. Starr was wonderful with our dog Penny. We dropped her off with them for the first time we'd left overnight, and it was completely seamless. They sent over few photos during her stay to make sure we knew she was having a great time. We had a great experience; we'll be bringing Penny back to Starr in a couple weeks
I recommend them. We boarded our 2 small dog for 9 days this summer. They were happy and healthy upon our return. We did a unannounced visit to inspected the cleanliness and security of the property. They were welcoming and the property was spotless. No odor or feces to be found.

I met Marina several years ago and she took care of our dog, Milo with the best care we could ask for. She stayed in our home for vacations and did day visits at other times. We lost our Milo last year and since I miss seeing Marina. She is a gem!

Affinity Pet Services have been very reliable & caring with our pets when we go on vacation. I love the updates and photos they are thoughtful enough to send so we feel less guilty about leaving home. Our pup loves playgroup! She waits excitedly at the window on playgroup days for pickup, dances when she hears Charlotte pull up, and comes home tired and happy. We also have hired Affinity for pack walks, and to check on our pup in the middle of the day when we have had to work longer hours. Affinity has proven to be trustworthy, caring and very knowledgeable about dog care. We highly recommend!
Can’t give them 10 stars but they are top notch! Charlotte and her company are the best. Dogs always picked up promptly, exercised their little hearts out, returned clean and tired. I often am not home when she drops off, she is respectful, always house is locked back up. My dogs love seeing her cause Affinity equals fun!
Besides being incredibly professional. This is the highest recommendation for Affinity(and Charlotte) I can give. When we come home are cats don’t hide or ignore us(because they are mad)…they are happy to see us, relaxed and carry on as if we had never left. That is because of the great care & love they received from The Affinity team while we were away.
