We had a great time looking after Lulu and Archie at Ivan and Anne's home in The Bronx. Both cats are rescues and preferred their own space, but did warm up to us and sat with us when we were home. They were very vocal at meal times and woke us up every morning to let us know it was breakfast time! Great communication before and during the stay and clear instructions on cat care. The house is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the number 1 train that takes you straight in to central Manhattan or down to South Ferry and the Statten Island Ferry (about an hour on the train). Easy walk to supermarket, shops and Van Cortlandt Park from the house. The house is on a quiet street and we slept well with no noise from neighbours. The main road (Broadway) is a couple of blocks away and is full of life - and was a major culture shock when we got off the train on the first day! Happy to offer suggestions on places to visit in NYC if fellow house sitters would like to get in touch. We were on a limited budget but managed to see all the sights and had great experiences.
A wonderful sit. Moonlight is a little bundle of sweetness to look after, curious and interested in you but also independent and loves the outdoors, very nice companion. Kate, Dom and Ava were excellent hosts, everything was explained very clearly and Ava did a fab powerpoint to go through all the household and pet basics, which was great to refer to through the sit. Room I stayed in had a lovely terrace area to sit and enjoy the sun (as did the garden) and everything was very clean and comfortable. This home is conveniently located, Ealing has very good links to wider London, but also plethora of shops, eateries, coffee places etc. nearby. Overall, many thanks for making me feel so welcome. Miss little Moonlight and very much look forward to returning.
Ollie was simply the best! He is so well trained and behaved, so sweet and really, really loves to play fetch. It was super convenient to have the park right across the street from Alyssa and Ricky’s place. I loved taking him to the park several times a day, for long walks and on mini adventures. Alyssa and Ricky’s home is very clean, organized and located in a wonderful location in Jamaica Plain in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. They are easy going, kind and were always quick to respond to me. I already miss Ollie dearly and hope I get the chance to sit for him again!
What an amazing sit with beautiful Barley! Jennie and Jim were warm and welcoming, and took the time to show us round the house and some of Barley's walking spots. The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need and more. We were free to use their amazing facilities including a pool and tennis courts. Everything is easy to maintain, it was just a matter of keeping the chickens happy and watering the garden in hot weather. The location is perfect - an easy drive into Pewsey or Marlborough, both very lovely spots with canals, pubs, shops and more! Barley is the most charming and eager to please little dog. He's very affectionate and easygoing, and just wants to be around people all the time. He will happily walk for hours and hours with you, but when at home he was very chilled out. We always get attached to the dogs on our sits, but Barley was particularly difficult to say goodbye to! Thank you again Jennie and Jim for having us - it was a pleasure and we would happily come back.
This was a great sit, Marcio is a very hospitable host, the apartment is in an amazing location Marcio provided everything we might need to make our stay comfortable. Tarefinha is an adorable cat, with such a kind heart, very love maintenance but super loving. Overall, an amazing smooth and easy experience, definitely recommend!

Our Home Dog Boarding is the best "cage-less" kennel care your pet will receive. I boarded my dog with one of the sponsor families and she was absolutely wonderful. The process is easy. Steve will set you up with a meet and greet with the family who is approved by Steven himself, if all goes well you set the date and drop off your dog and his/her things to the host. I've boarded my dog several times and have never had an issues at all. Such a great concept and very affordable.
So very highly recommended. The personal attention and care Stephen and his team of people (especially Diane) that open their homes to my dog is above and beyond expectations. My dog has fairly severe separation anxiety and Stephen has the patience to understand him and our situation and accommodate and care for him in so many ways that make him comfortable. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my child is with people that understand, appreciate him and work hard to make him as comfortable as possible. He and his team are true dog lovers and understanders; consistently and thankfully accommodating to my and my dogs personal situation. I very highly recommend!
I met Steve Linn when I had a rather old, very sick Brittany. I had previously used Lakeside Kennels for years, but I did not want to leave him there to go on a long vacation when he became ill. I saw a business card that Steve had posted on a message board at my gym. I called him and started interviewing some of Steve's dog hosts. We found a perfect place with a host who did older dogs and took them on many short walks a day and spent the rest of his time at home with all the dog beds lying in front of him. It was the perfect place for my dog. Unfortunately Zeke has gone to the rainbow bridge. Now I have Elvis a 2 1/2 year old Brittany. I have left him with two different hosts at Christmas and have been very happy with both experiences. I wouldn't consider leaving him anywhere else. Now Steve is making mailboxes with your dog's face and body surrounding it. This mailbox is a big hit with my family and all my family and neighbors who have seen it. I am sure you will find a picture of it on Steve website. It is the one with the gorgeous orange brittany on it.
I cannot say enough great things about this service. Dianne (Grandma) was fantastic. The fact that a meet and greet with your dog before you leave them is very comforting as it gave me peace of mind knowing ahead of time that our Maggie would be happy there. The process from start to finish was easy and efficient. Did not have to wait for responses to inquiries. Just wished Grandma lived next door, such a lovely person.
Both Rhett Butler and I are thoroughly enjoying your service! I can see the difference in him when I pick him up from the boarders (Kim and Diane). He is carefree. In the past as much as I liked the service I used; when I picked him up he was anxious and it was apparent that he'd been over licking his forearms. When I travel I don't even worry about him now. I have peace of mind. Thank you!

You have the right services that have me coming back. The staff is awesome, the place is immaculate clean and the camp guidelines and rules make it safe to leave my guys for the day or overnight. I love the grooming services, the little extras you can get like playtime, snuggle time, picture day is awesome, I get the best shot from picture day and all the other events you have.
I love knowing there’s a safe place to take my furmily when I’d like them to have some additional socialization, exercise, stimulation or to just not be pent up inside if I have to spend some additional time away from home. I recommend our local Camp Bow Wow to all of my furiends, furmily & training clients as well.
Great place for your pup to have fun and mix with other pups to get some energy out. The employees and Manager are terrific and truly care about your family member while they are there. And as a bonus you can check on them with their live cameras Highly recommend them!
Place was very clean. Was very happy how they interacted with the dogs and made sure everyone was getting along. And everything was explained in detail what they do. We were shown around to ever part of the facility from there rooms to out door play area. We were very impressed with the information we received in such a short period of time. And was very happy to be able to watch our Jake play with other dogs that were there. He had a blast. I feel very comfortable leaving our Jake stay there for sure.
Tater Tot has been attending Camp Bow Wow for over a year now. They are absolutely wonderful to Tater and anytime I look at the camera's his tail is wagging! Highly recommend especially if you have a puppy that needs to burn off some of that excess energy and needs more avenues for socialization! Tater Tot's brother Waffles will also be going as soon as he is old enough! Also the holiday pictures they send are absolutely the best!!! (Tater Tot thinks he is a model now)
The facility is beautiful and CLEAN! As soon as you walk in you smell a fresh clean scent, every time. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They know my pup by name and are always happy to see him. I feel 100% safe leaving my dog, Roadie with them. He’s boarded there several times and also gone to the day camp many times. The Comly Road facility is literally amazing! I have not one bad or negative thing to say about this place. I’m grateful that it exists. My dog and I love it so much!

I love that you are a pit friendly establishment. The staff is very warm and caring. The facility is always very clean. I love that I can access the camper cam to check in on my fur baby. Everytime i think about Camp Bow Wow my heart just leaps with joy that I have a place that is very accepting of my Baileigh girl. She’s been discriminated against in other establishments based solly on the fact that she is a pitbull and that hurt me to my heart because i know she is the sweetest, most gentle baby girl. My dog and I love Camp Bow Wow! Jack gets so excited from the time he walks in the door. The camp counselrs take very good care of the dogs. The absolute best part is the camp cameras. I can watch Jack play with his friends and check to see if he is okay. Peace of mind is everything! Camp Bow Wow for the win!!!
My dog Axl loves going to Camp Bow Wow. The people are so nice and take such good care of my dog while I work. I love the fact that I can check in on the camper cams during his stay. Today he participated in a dog birthday party and got a goodie bag.

Best Place for my Two Beagles-Benny and Jet! Going on three years- three days a week daycare and boarding for two weeks twice!!! Every one loves the pups and cats! They know their names and their likes and dislikes. They are the best!
I’m always hesitant to leave my Husky with anyone that I don’t know well, but there are times that it’s impossible to avoid. I’ve left her at one or two other kennels and she was confined to an area similar to what you may find in a rescue shelter. Alone and isolated from other dogs. Villa La Paws is an amazing facility. Not only do they allow the dogs to interact all day, they also followed my instructions to give her a puzzle, that I provided, each night, to keep her mentally stimulated. If she doesn’t get her puzzle she will demand in no uncertain terms, that you’ve not fulfilled your responsibility to keep her happy. 😃 They also have a fairly well developed and strict vetting policy. Must have all shots current and spend at least two sessions in daycare. All this to keep the animals safe and fully protected. Once you’ve tried the best, forget the rest. I won’t take my Husky anywhere else.
I want to thank all the staff at VLP for providing excellent care to my dog,Isley! Isley has been attending daycare for 1 year and he loves it! Daycare was recommended because Isley is timid around other dogs and people. He needs the socialization so he can learn how to be a dog. We affectionately refer to VLP as school and we refer to the staff as "teachers". As soon as I ask Isley if he's ready to go to school, he starts jumping and barking with excitement. Yesterday, I checked the camera and noticed that he was sleeping on a blanket. I was happy that he felt comfortable and relaxed enough to take a nap. He usually walks and jumps all day when I see him. I don't know what was happening but Isley backed up and hunched his back in fear when other dogs came to him. Maybe the other dogs wanted the blanket? I could clearly see that Isley was frightened. The teacher, Nicole ,came over immediately to make sure everything was ok and Isley was not being bullied. I was impressed by how attentive she was! Nicole and the entire staff pay close attention to what's going on in the room and I love that! I very much appreciate the love and caring that the staff shows Isley and all the other dogs! I've seen how gentle and patient the staff is with older sicker dogs and it absolutely warms my heart! Thank you for training your staff to be the very best! It definitely shows and we truly appreciate you! If you have to get on a waiting list,VLP is worth the wait! Isley attended 2 other daycares before VLP and neither experience was positive. One daycare had a horrible stench and was dirty. There was no limit on the dogs and it was like a huge dog warehouse-horrible! The other daycare was pretty and fancy but the staff was cold to my dog and they never tried to show him any attention / love. One day I came to pick him up and the staff told me that I was wasting my money because Isley doesn't socialize with other dogs. What?? All dogs don't play together if he's not used to other dogs. Isley is friendly and loving but he just stays to himselfand that's fine. That was his last day there! I called VLP and got him on the waiting list and the rest is history!
We have been going to Villa La Paws for 4 years now. I can’t say enough good things about Mike And his staff. They treat your pup with respect and always make sure they are safe when playing. They have boarding and grooming available. We have used all the facilities. They also don’t crate the dogs when they board they stay in rooms with other pups they get along with. I am sure you will love this place
Great place. I took my pug❤️ for grooming. The service was great. Mary as our groomer, she was kind and took good care of our baby. The price was reasonable, cheaper than the chain store groomers. The waiting list for day care and boarding is very long we are number 260 and something....
This is the best doggy daycare/boarding around. Careful attention to detail and consideration of the temperament of dogs and I just love the vibes! Feels like family and my dog LOVESSSS to go.
This facility has been a godsend for my family when we are in need of daycare or boarding. Our dog is afraid of crates, so this crate free facility has been such a gentle, comfortable way for us to board our dog! Wonderful employees who really care about the animals and plenty of playtime and socialization for the pups.
Absolutely great place to keep your pup when away. The staff truly are dog lovers and always one “human” in each room the dogs are in. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play and sleep time in open rooms with couches. And best part is live camera feeds in each room so you can see your pup anytime from wherever in the world you are.
Kaytlynn’s K-9 and Cat Care is like no other! She is so extremely caring and kind, trustworthy, responsible, and just fabulous! She cared for our 4 cats while we were away and anyone who knows me knows those kitties are my babies, but I never once worried about them because I knew they were in excellent hands. They all loved her so much. She sent pictures and an update after every visit. I 100% recommend to anyone looking for in home pet care while you are away. We will definitely be utilizing her services for every future vacation!!!

Kaytlynn does an amazing job with my 4 cats. She sends me the best pictures and I know they are well taken care of. She is always in communication and lets me know if she see anything that might be off. I have a very difficult cat who needs insulin shots and she worked with us for weeks getting him used to her giving him his shots. Her dedication is unmatched and I’m so thankful we found her! Katelynn took great care of our 17 year old cat for 9 days while we were out of the country. During the meet and greet, it was clear that she has a love of cats which made me feel instantly comfortables. Additionally, I was impressed by how professional she was and how well organized her business is. While we were away, I received daily updates, was reassured that our cat took all her medication (administered 2x/day) and she was kind enough to take in our mail and packages. Most importantly, Shayna’s area (food/litter) was left impeccably clean. I would highly recommend Kaytlynn for your pet care needs, and I plan to use her in the future.
There are not enough grate things that can be said about kaytlynn and her service. As active travelers, We used her many times a year for several years to watch our cat while we were away. Every day twice a day there were text updates with pictures. She was diligent, thoughtful and offers peace of mind. We recently had to let our beloved Dixie go, and Kaytlynn’s kindness and compassion were out of this world. Great person to work with. Recommend to everyone

This was our first time EVER leaving our 3 yr old golden retrievers. We were nervous. Kayt was easy from the start. She cares and you can tell. She came in multiple times a day for 3 days. My nerves were settled once she sent pics and they looked happy and tired out. She took care of our girls and our house! She even left us this picture of them for when we returned. Highly recommend
I've used several pet-sitters over the years and Kaytlynn goes above and beyond with her services. Her professionalism and initiative is admirable and unusual in the service industry, especially for a young person. During her visits she provides regular updates and pictures so I know my dogs and cat are in excellent hands. Kaytlynn does overnight visits for me and leaves my house cleaner than when she arrived! I can go on an overnight trip or week-long vacation and really enjoy myself knowing my babies are safe and happy. I've hired Kaytlynn many times and trust her completely with my fur babes and my home. Can't recommend her enough!
Kaytlynn is amazing! She takes such great care of our dogs and cats. She keeps us posted the entire time we are away and makes sure our fur babies are well taken care of and feel comfortable when we aren’t there. She administered medicine and followed all of our instructions and listened to our requests. To say Theo loves camp bow wow is an understatement! The excitement he gets when we even go near that area makes us laugh, but also really happy. Knowing that he likes going there makes it easier to do him off. But as much as he loves it so do we!! Heidi and her staff go above and beyond and treat each dog like they’re their own. I will never take my dog anywhere else and I tell anyone who ask that this is the place to go! Take your dog here and trust me they’ll love you forever!
Our dog Ace loves coming to Camp Bow Wow. Whether it’s for day camp or overnight boarding I know he is in good hands. The camp counselors are the nicest and most kind people, they make drop off and pick ups as smooth as possible. They go above and beyond when it comes to 1on1 time, holiday treats, etc and I would recommend them to anyone looking for top notch dog care.

We dropped off our boy Ace for his interview and we were blow away by camp bow wow! The consulars are so nice and educated and the facility is great. After our pup passed his interview we immediately signed him up for a week of boarding and purchased 3 days passes and a grooming session as well. I know Ace can’t wait to get back there and play.
Our dog Oliver loves Camp Bow Wow! The staff is wonderful and welcoming, always greets our pup by name. He’s always so excited when we pull into the parking lot, and immediately falls asleep when he gets home! Highly recommend!
The staff is very friendly and welcoming and I feel comfortable leaving my dogs with them. The boys are always excited to go and tuckered out when they come home which means they had fun playing and running around. The staff is also very responsive and easy to reach for any reason. I love being able to check in on the dogs whenever I want as well.
Went in for a tour with our new 5 month old puppy. Never got a tour. Receptionist told us we had to have our dog for 2 months before they were able to house him. Wh couldn't she tell us that over phone.🙄🙄 …
Our dog (Teddy) is always thrilled to come to camp bow wow. The woman at the front desk is always wonderful and greets our pup by name as he walks in (wish I remembered her name but she is awesome). Teddy is always worn out by the end of his stay from playing but sad to leave. Love the cameras as well.
