Lenox is a total gem!!! Took amazing care of my pets and apartment, clearly very knowledgeable about animals and so kind a
I had a gorgeous few days looking after the adorable Tony and Rosie. Tony the cat is definitely the boss of the house and indeed the neighbourhood but also a big softie with an enormous purr! Rosie is 10 years old and a total sweetheart - both very low maintenance. Vicky's house was clean and comfortable and I was very lucky with the weather so made good use of their pool! Also the beach is just 5 mins walk away and local shops 10 to 15 mins walk, so a great location. Would highly recommend this sit. Thank you Vicky!
We thoroughly enjoyed house and pet sitting for Karissa and Chris. Bailey the golden Labrador is a delightful and engaging character and we shared many adventures on our long walks across the beautiful countryside around Saint-Genies-de-Fontedit. The two cats TimTam and Cootha are very easy going and loveable. Karissa and Chris live in a lovely home in the village and were very welcoming, making us feel relaxed and at home. We highly recommend this house-sit.
Wren and Ashley's home was charming. So peaceful and full of love. We felt like.home there and the kitties made it even more enjoyable. Pawpaw is a lover, and spent a majority of the time with us. Ruti is shy but by day 3 was more comfortable with me and allowed me to sit close by. And then there is TT. She is so adorable and loves attention. I can say it was one of my most enjoyable sits all around. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We had a great time looking after Toby - she's such a loving dog and is great fun to be around. Elana is a great host and was very friendly and responsive both prior to and during the sit, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is great and has everything you need so we would definitely recommend housesitting for Elana and Toby if you get the chance! Thanks!
This short weekend housesit was surprisingly busy. I cleaned, vacuumed, washed the floors and was asked to drive the owners to Geneva airport. When I dropped them off, I was asked to collect them upon their return (which I did with my car). If you have a car and are asked to be an airport shuttle, use the owner's car instead. I was not offered money towards fuel or any other sort of compensation. Jack, the Jack Russell, is a sweet little 'fully-loaded' boy who is very talkative - esp. in the evening. Apparently he wanted me to tuck him in. Once I understood, Jack cozied himself in his cage, had me cover him with his blankets and promptly and happily fell asleep. When walking Jack, you might consider keeping him on an extendible leash. He gets easily distracted by lady dogs and, no surprise, becomes quite selective of hearing (which older gent doesn't?). Jack greatly enjoys his walks. Apart from leaving me a bit of a mess and bumming a couple of airport rides, Hester and Angus are quite a delightful couple.
Beautiful house and garden, and super sweet kitties!
