Kim and Nicole are AMAZING!! We felt so comfortable leaving the Boys with them after we met them and it went beautifully. The Boys were happy and definitely well looked after, and the icing on the cake was the house was clean and tidy upon our return. I simply cannot say enough about them, they exceeded all our expectations, communication not only with us but our walker was superb, and they provided tons of love and snuggles for the Boys. Ronnie is a spirited, competent, engaging woman who took excellent care of my dog, my home--and me! My mini-poodle Clancy was totally smitten with her, and has been depressed all day following her departure. She took him on long walks and was more successful than I have been at training him not to bark at scary big dogs (by using a shorter leash and using his halter to lift up his chest and legs briefly--not painful at all, and very effective). I gave her his schedule and told her to adjust it to fit her own bio-rhythms (I'm a night-owl, she's an early riser). She gave him 2 substantial meals a day instead of 3 smaller ones (he gets a midnight snack from me), and he was fine with that. In other words, she's independent, creative, and has good judgment. Clancy clearly loved cuddling with her--he divided the nights she and I were both in the house between us. My house was spotless when I got home, and she actually did a couple of little odd jobs that I had neglected. She welcomed me back from my trip with a homemade quiche and pumpkin pie. I really enjoyed talking with her, and was glad that she stayed on for a second day--she's good company.
