Having recently moved to the area with a 5 month old GSP puppy, we knew finding the right care was going to be important for us & our pup. Jacqui & the team have been fabulous in accommodating our ever changing needs. They have been fabulous at taking things slowly with our pup, introducing her gradually to new places & new friends. They have been consistent with re-enforcing whatever training we have been working on & she is always happily shattered when she gets home. We couldn't be happier with Sallie & Tilly for her daycare play dates & Aliyah for fun walks. We are so grateful our pup is in kind & experienced hands with Jacqui & the team.

My dog is basically my child so I’m very fussy about leaving her with people. I am therefore so happy to have found We Love Pets. Jacqui has introduced me to some truly lovely people who have made my dog so happy and put my mind at ease. I have no qualms leaving her now as I know I can completely trust that she will be well looked after. Highly recommended - five stars plus!

Our whole experience with We Love Pets has been fantastic. The initial consultation in our home was so reassuring. Jacqui is so thorough, sensible and understanding. Then our first daycare session went so well, our dogs were so calm when I collected them and had really bonded with the person taking care of them. I feel I can really trust this company and will definitely be using them again, as I have total peace of mind about our dogs' wellbeing.

Having We Love Pets with Jacqui, Denise and the team in our lives is amazing and we couldn’t ask for better dog care. They have been incredibly caring and loving with our excitable dog Buster. He goes out and has the best adventures and comes home to a cozy, cuddly home, where we always know he’s looked after with the best care. Jacqui and the team at We Love Pets are so much more than dog walkers/sitters. I feel so reassured when I need to leave our dog, knowing they care as much as we do. It’s not just a job for them, they genuinely care & I can’t recommend them enough. Recently I had arranged for our Jack Russell to be walked and I was a bit worried as she hadn’t been herself that morning. I just emailed to let them know & Jacqui called me & arranged to spilt the walk and check on her twice so I could be reassured. Our dog was absolutely fine but it was so nice to know she was being kept an eye on.

Jacqui, her team and family were the perfect minders for our little puppy Mia. She felt at home immediately and we knew instantly that she was in good, safe, caring, professional and trustworthy hands. Mia was so happy at the end of her first day. Jacqui is excellent at communicating and has all the skills needed to work with dogs. I would give Jacqui a highest recommendation.

Jacqui and the team have been absolutely amazing and I would happily recommend them to anyone. My dog is slightly nervous when meeting new people and it takes him a little time to build trust. They were gentle, kind and patient with him and now have a great bond. I've never used dog walkers in all my years of dog ownership (over 15 years) so it was a big thing for me to trust someone else with my dog, to take care of him and to not reinforce and negative behaviour. I only wish I could take these ladies with me to where I'm relocating! Special mention goes to India, who does most of the walks, I love and appreciate the little notes and I'm so grateful for your caring attitude towards my boy.

We used We Love Pets Wantage for the first time recently. Having experienced the most awful pet sitter previously we were super cautious about booking another one. Needless to say we didn't need to worry. From start to finish the service was faultless. Jacqui put us at ease and carefully selected the most suitable person for us and Rosa worked out just perfectly. We had regular updates and photos sent and came back to very happy animals in great shape who'd obviously had a very enjoyable week. Our house had also been very well looked after too which was an added bonus. We will certainly use them again when we need pet sitters. Thank you Jacqui

We contacted the Wantage branch of We Love Pets when we unexpectedly and suddenly needed care for a family dog, because his owner ended up in hospital. What a fantastic service they gave - finding a last-minute ‘holiday home’ for him, collecting him, taking him to a vet appointment, and generally welcoming him to the family. And Jacqui, who arranged all this, was so nice and helpful, and made things so easy in a stressful situation. And she kept us posted with photos to show how well he had settled in. We would highly recommend this company and, if future care is needed, would go back there immediately. A big ‘thank you’ to the We Love Pets team.

We took our 2 cavachons here for 12 days, I am honestly so happy with the care from this place. We asked for updates and they would reply and send updates and pictures along side. Our boy was overweight and we asked for suggestions and if they could try and get him to loose some weight, he lost 1kg being here and we now have a routine and he has since lost another 1kg being with us at home, we couldn't be happier with him. I could not recommend Honeybottom more! Both ladies on the reception and phones are lovely too! Which really helps. Thanks again, see you guys in June! X

The communication levels are very good, and the team have all been really friendly. Most importantly our dog always comes home after a visit in a really positive mood and is always tired the next day which is a clear sign he has had plenty of exercise.

Our dog has been coming to Honeybottom for regular daycare and occasional overnight stays since he was 15 weeks old and he absolutely loves it here. He can't wait to go in when we arrive, spends the day playing with his friends and comes home happy and very tired! Phil and the team are fantastic and really understand and care about each dog. It's very reassuring knowing your dog is so well looked after. All dogs can be catered for, whether they are super sociable or more on the nervous side and as first time dog owners we have really appreciated all Phil's advice over the last year or so. We wouldn't want to send our dog anywhere else and would highly recommend!

Our dog Max spent 8 nights at Honeybottom kennels. He went there based on these reviews of which, the latest ones looked good. Unfortunately ours was a different story. Max has been in kennels many times before, mainly in Yorkshire before we moved. He always came out happy to see us but more importantly he came out healthy and clean. Max was picked up by our son while we were still travelling home. The first thing we noticed was the smell, he stank. He’s a very bouncy, happy dog and after the initial excitement of seeing us he slumped. It was then we noticed how poorly he looked. His lower eye lids had dropped to the extent that he looked like a blood hound. It was also evident that, apart from the fact he smelled awful, he’d lost a lot of weight. When we dropped him of we were asked how much he ate. I explained exactly his morning and evening meals. He’s quite a large dog so one can isn’t enough. He’s also active all day as he comes to work with me. The fact that he lost weight surprised me as we were told that he would be walked twice a day which means he should actually have put on weight had he been fed correctly. We contacted Phil and explained our concerns. As per his weight loss he explained that on arrival his weight was 48kg and on departure a little over 46kg. That nearly a 2 kg weight loss in just over a week. He apparently saw no problem with this. As for his listlessness he explained that some dogs don’t take well to being left at kennels. I’ve worked out that over the six years we’ve had max he would have been in kennels well over 10 times. He’s never had a problem before. It took two days until he was back to his normal self. I’m sure the owners response will claim that we are unhappy that we were charged for 9 nights and he was only there for 8 nights which prompted this 1 star review. That isn’t the case as after he explained their terms and conditions I fully understand the charge and it’s only £19.50. Maybe we were unlucky as a lot of people have given good reviews but I will never leave a dog in their care again.

We were worried as this was our dog’s first time in Kennelly but the staff were great and instantly gave us confidence. A kennel that clearly cares about dogs and not just making a profit! Clean, caring and great value.

I cannot express how excellent this company is! I have been using them for a few weeks now and they have provided myself with peace of mind that my dog is being well looked after during the day. He is able to socialise with other dogs and exercise, play and have an incredible time. Team are always willing to answer my silly calls and emails with questions. It is a blessing to have them so close to us. I would recommend AND HAVE to all the dog owners I know. No faults. Safe and friendly environment where they know your dog personally... so much so that my Winston because a bouncy and excited whenever we get close to the building. All my dogs love it here - even the very nervous one. The Staff go out of their way to make sure the dogs are all happy and healthy whilst in their care. I've been using these kennels for several years and it's great to see all the updating that is being done - new Kennel blocks are great and the new run layout means that all the dogs have plenty of space when outside. Can't praise the Staff and Management enough. Great new kennel blocks mean all kennels have dedicated runs - so dogs get much more run time (as well as their walks)

We used Honeybottom kennels for the first time recently. We picked up our Goldendoodle this morning after her first week there while we were on a holiday abroad, and she has come back very happy and relaxed and there were no issues at all. Very quick & easy drop-off and pick-up and great value. Will definitely be back, and we recommend 👍 Thank you Honeybottom Kennels!

Olivia has been looking after my cats for just over a year. She’s 100% reliable, and I completely trust her. You only have to mention something to her, and she’s made a note of it, and it happens. She’s also really good at sending daily pictures and updates to me when I’m away, which always puts my mind at rest, as I always like to know what my cats are up to. I will continue to have Olivia look after my cats as long as she wants to, and I completely recommend her!

Olivia is an exceptional pet sitter! I’ve never felt more comfortable and secure in the knowledge that my cats are being lovingly cared for when I’m away, especially when finding it difficult to leave them overnight for more than a few days. Olivia’s professionalism was the first indicator that I’d found someone I can trust. With photos of my happy cats upon every visit and seeing how relaxed they are in her company I know I can relax when I’m away. I cannot recommend Olivia enough; you’ve just found gold!

Olivia is great I couldn’t recommend her more. She is polite, responsible and dependable and best of all my dogs love her! I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

We were looking for someone to take our boy out for a couple of walks a week during the work week and we are so glad we chose The Paw Smith gang! Katherine was more than helpful and introduced us at a meet to one of her lovely ladies Claire who takes our little man out for us and is now a firm favourite of Dobby! He absolutely loves going on his weekly adventures with Claire and has an amazing time with her and always comes back with a smile on his face! And she sends us wonderful snaps of him on her walks with him. We use The Paw Smith twice a week for Lionel and Bella and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Despite a rather wet few months the dogs are always left clean (which is a miracle since our lab will jump in any water she can find). Clare is our regular dog walker in Botley and I can’t recommend her more, our dogs aren’t the best behaved and she is so patient with them. P.S. It makes my day coming home to the little notes Clare leaves us about her adventures with them. Thankyou Katherine and Clare ☺️

Katherine has been looking after my dog, Red, regularly (twice a week) for over a year now. She's always treated Red like he's her own dog, which shows in all of Red's interactions with her as he absolutely loves her! My dog is my world, and I know Red is in good hands with her. She's 100% reliable, really friendly, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We came across The Paw Smith when looking for a bit of help on busy days walking our two Cardigan corgi pups. Meeting Katherine and Clare made me feel super comfortable right away. Both our dogs took to them straight away, and Clare was really receptive to hearing about each of the dog’s quirks and tendencies to make sure they were well looked after and enjoyed their walks. Six months on, we are absolutely thrilled with how Clare looks after our babies. They are always overjoyed to see her; they come back from every walk full of smiles and tail wags (and thankfully very tired)! Clare has also stayed overnight with them and done a couple daycare visits, and those have gone brilliantly as well. Recommend unreservedly!

I have met both Katherine and Sophie and they are both lovely. When I get a new dog walker for Archie and Dillon, I pay a lot of attention to how my dogs react to being walked by a particular person, how enthusiastic they are to go and walk again with that person and I can state, without any doubt, that my dogs absolutely love their walks with Pawsmith and this is a reflection on how they are treated during the walks. I can therefore say that I would recommend Pawsmith to anyone who needs a dog walking service

Katherine walks my two dogs 3 times a week for an hour. They both love her and have enjoyed their walks over the past few months. I have profound mobility issues and this is a life line that has enabled me to keep both dogs. I really like the way that Katherine walks the dogs separately without “a pack”. One of my dogs can be very anxious but I haven’t seen that at all with Katherine. Would totally recommend.

The Paw Smith came highly recommended by a friend, so imagine my delight when I heard they were expanding into Oxford! Katherine and Carly send me photos/short videos and leave a note which says how the walk has gone. My Labrador has been on 3 walks with The Paw Smith so far and it is really lovely to come home from work to a calm and well stimulated pup. Therefore, I too, can highly recommend this company … I only wish they could walk my boy every day!!

Katherine is simply amazing and we wouldn’t think of ever using anyone else. She takes such amazing care of Rae when she house sits for us, who adores spending time with her.

Our Peggy loves staying with Lorain and her lovely labs at Dog Haven Boarding! Whether it’s a weekend trip or just a daycare session, the dogs are occupied and engaged and get plenty of love and cuddles. We are so glad to have found them as it really has been like a home from home for Peggy, she even knows exactly where she’s going once we turn off at the roundabout and gets all excited in the car! You can tell Lorain really cares for the dogs and gets to know them and all their little quirks to make sure their normal routines aren't disrupted too much. We also get plenty of photo updates which really make us smile! We would recommend Dog Haven Boarding 100%!

We were away for a week, and our energetic furball Rocco had the time of his life with Lorain and his new best friend, Ronnie. Our 3-year-old Golden Retriever was truly receiving top-notch care every step of the way. Lorain and her lovely family look after our highly strung English bulldog every year when we go on our holidays. It’s a home from home for our four legged baby, she loves it. Our Lola is always well cared for and looked after during her stay. Amazing service!

Lorain has looked after my rescue dog who does not warm to people easily. However, the moment he entered Dog Haven he was at ease and instantly loved Lorain (unusual for him). He had a fantastic weekend and didn’t want to come home! Lorain kept us updated with how he was getting on. It is such a lovely place for dogs and felt like a little holiday for him. Lorain has looked after my greyhound for the last couple of years and she loves it there. It’s like home from home for her and much less stressful than a traditional kennels. Highly recommend!

We have used Dog Haven Boarding on numerous occasions and it is a god send for our two little fur babies! We were not keen with putting our dogs in kennels, particularly as our little Yorkipoo is very needy, so when we found Lorain and her family offering daycare, overnight stays, including holidays in a home environment we were so pleased. We went for an initial visit to meet Lorain and to see how our dogs would enjoy the stay, and interact with Lorain’s own lovely labradors. It is a clean home, with a good sized, safe enclosed garden for the dogs to play and enjoy the outdoors. They are also taken for walks outside of the house in small groups during daycare on leads, as safety of the dogs is taken seriously. I think this is really important for routine and also provides further stimulation. Photo updates during the day gives reassurance and is a nice touch. After daycare, on collection, both our dogs appear very happy, so we know they have been well looked after whilst in daycare with Lorain and often are very keen to get back into the house when we return. We also used Dog Haven Boarding for our first holiday away since we got the dogs and we were very anxious. Lorain listened to our requirements and met all the needs for our dogs whilst we were away. So it was easy to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs. Again the photo and video updates really helped us to stay relaxed and not worry so much. Lorain is very approachable and has a lovely manner. She often responds at short notice and she is totally amazing with our dogs. If you are considering a home environment for daycare or whilst you are on holiday, I would highly recommend using Dog Haven Boarding!

I can't recommend Lorain highly enough. She clearly loves dogs, and they clearly love being with her - dog people will understand what this means. I always used to feel guilty going on holiday and taking my black lab to kennels. Not any more. As soon as we are near Dog Haven he knows exactly where he is and is visibly excited and happy. Loraine sends through regularly updates during the stay and I'm always happy knowing that our dog is being well cared for.

My two dogs were instantly at ease with Lorain, as was I. She has the loveliest manner with dogs, and I felt very happy to leave my boys with her. They came back happy and tired. When we went for our second visit, they could not wait to get back through her door! I am delighted I have found Lorain , and we will now be regular visitors.

Our black lab loves going twice a week and he is treated like a member of the family. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A fantastic friendly service where the wellbeing of the dog is taken very seriously. First class and much appreciated....thank you.

We are so grateful for finding Muddy Paws after having a few bad experiences with doggy daycare previously. Coco absolutely loves going and can't wait to get out of the car. We feel reassured that Coco's having a great time while we are at work and couldn't be cared for by anyone better. We get lots of photo updates throughout the day. Lisa and Muddy Paws are incredible, we would definitely recommend.

We took Clover, our lab, so she could socialise with other dogs and it's done her so much good to be with Lisa and her pack at Muddy Paws. Clover has had a great time meeting new dogs and playing, it's really helped grow her confidence and even better for her to be around Lisa's young children as she doesn't usually hang out with kids. I always know with Lisa she will be well looked after and loved - cannot recommend enough! :D

All that the previous reviews have said has been our experience too. Muddy Paws is an excellent service for dog owners who want to know their dog will be exercised, socialised and happy. Lisa takes care to make sure that when she takes on a new dog it will fit into the group and the result is evident in a very waggy tail at the end of a busy day! It is delightful to see how well Lisa's two very young children interact with the animals in their care and visa versa. Lisa has a very professional approach combined with a friendly manner and so I would have no hesitation recommending Muddy Paws.

Teddy absolutely loves going to Muddy Paws. He goes 2 days per week, and is very happy there. I would 100% recommend!! I love receiving photos of him each day he is there too

We are really pleased we found Muddy Paws, the care given to my dog is fantastic! She always comes back happy after a day of fun and meetings other dogs at Muddy Paws. We feel confident in leaving our dog and her tail wags with excitement when I drop her off. Her boarding and daycare options were exactly what we are looking for and Lisa’s passion for her business and ensuring the dogs are well looked after is clear. We highly recommend Muddy paws for your doggy daycare and boarding needs.

As soon as we arrive at Lisa’s Rosie goes racing up to the door… her Thursdays at Muddy paws are the highlight of her week! She comes home happy and hungry from a day full of lovely walks and playtime and sofa snuggles. Cannot rate highly enough :)

Lisa is the best doggy care one could wish for. Reliable, trustworthy, friendly, we only had Layla a few weeks when we found Lisa and she fell in love with Layla right away and so did her doggy Dexter and the love affair began. Layla loved being with Lisa she wouldn’t want to leave when I went to pick her up. Sadly we moved away from the area and we miss them very much, when we say Dexters name she looks for him at the door. Can’t recommend Muddypaws dog boarding highly enough - Lorna & Layla x

Professional, efficient, reliable, clean, loving & caring environment. It’s only been a couple of weeks since we have been sending our pup to Lisa’s Muddy paws day care. I wished we had found her earlier as our two year old Maltipoo simply loves going there and is so very fond of Lisa! Her home environment feels safe and welcoming and it’s so apparent that our pup, Coco loves spending time there with other pups and sharing cuddles with Lisa. I feel at ease sending her there as it’s bound to be a day filled with fun activities in a caring loving environment where I know rules are being followed. I get pictorial updates of the day and Lisa is very efficient at communicating any issues of the day or otherwise. Overall I feel my pup is in a safe place & being looked after as she is when home! Therefore I highly recommend Muddy 🐾.

Muddypaws are AMAZING! Found through a friend. Can highly recommend. We have used other boarders in the past and Lisa is so passionate about her business. We get so many photos on the days our dog visits. We know she is well loved and she loves going too.

Rosy has the most amazing time with Lisa at Muddy Paws daycare. She can’t wait to get in the door! It gives her the socialisation with other dogs in the pack that she craves and comes home hungry and ready for a nap! Highly Recommend Lisa and Muddy Paws.

Updated: July 13th 2023 For several years now the team at My Best Friend Dog Care have helped us out when our daughter's dog,Huxley, our furry grandson comes to stay. They always manage to fit him in. Even at short notice. Today it was Lauren who has done an excellent job. As well as him looking great, he also always seems to enjoy the experience. We really can't recommend this place more highly. Thanks to all the staff who provide such a friendly and professional service. Updated: December 2022 This is a superb dog groomers. At very short notice they were able to accommodate a grooming for the dog of a family member. The dog was staying with us for a few weeks. The dog loved it and looked really tidy. We will certainly use this place again in the future, when our doggy guest is with us 🐶 Indeed we have returned : Once again Clara provided a superb grooming for our guest dog. Indeed his next visit is already booked. It is reassuring to know that such a professional service is available close by. As 2022 draws to a close, yet again our visiting dog has managed to secure several visits to Clara and her team, during his stays with us. Each time he returns looking and smelling great. He is also full of vim and vigour when we collect him.

I have used My Best Friend Dog Care for both grooming and for boarding and can't recommend the service I have received highly enough. My elderly (and quite smelly) dog always comes away looking and smelling lovely from his grooming sessions. When I needed to use Jon and Clara's boarding services they took great care to match their carer with my dog's needs and I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again. I can't think of one thing I would change about the experiences we have had over the last two years and I would highly recommend MBFC to any dog owner.

Highly recommend , Jon has found some brilliant carers to have our dogs when we are away , they have always been well looked after and have had a great time , Put your trust in Jon if you are looking for dog boarding when you are away , he will match you and your dogs to the right people. Always professional with booking the dogs in to meeting the carers and sending out invoices. Highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care. Left our 9 month old Golden Retriever with Jon and Clara for the day and I couldn't be happier. Penny was well looked after and came home one happy pup. Lovely large garden so they can roam around freely, long walks and the online booking system is great.

We have always used My Best Friend for all of our dogs and have never once been disappointed in the care and service they have demonstrated. Jon and his team are fantastic, trustworthy and very reliable. They go above and beyond just caring for our dogs. All of our dogs have been extremely well cared for, loved and fussed over just like we have never been away. If you are considering going away and are worried about leaving behind your dog I would without shadow of a doubt always reccomend My Best Friend. You will not be disappointed and we would not use anyone else.

Absolutely fantastic team that look after pixie. So nervous 4 years ago when I first took her but now she loves going there. They are all so friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend this place.

My puppy loves going to Jon and Clara twice a week, I think it's the highlight for him! He jumps out of the car, tail wagging, and pulls all the way to the gate! He has the opportunity to go for walks off lead as well as access to the garden all day and a nice sleeping area if he is tired (which is hardly ever!) I would highly recommend this service!

Poppy was welcomed by Jon And went off happily with him . I received a text that evening to say she was settled and doing fine. When we picked her up after four days she was happy and tailwagging. I would have no hesitation in recommending my best friend to anyone And would definitely leave poppy again

Visited MBF last week for a much needed nail clipping for Henny (GSP). Really impressed with the lockdown safety measures in place with a one in-one out system and a sanitiser station outside, and inside with a defined area for customers behind a series of screens, whilst everyone was fully masked. It’s clear that Clara, Jon, Lynsey & Molly are all doing their best to look after our pooches and their owners during the pandemic. We look forward coming back, hopefully in better times, but for now this will have to do! Well done gang, keep up the good work.

Caroline and Ant are the only cat sitters we will use, they are simply the best. They look after our four cats, each with individual needs, (and our home) as we would. We appreciate the regular updates and them taking time to get to know each cat, giving them love & fuss. We trust them totally which makes our regular trips away one bit less stressful!

Caroline and Ant looked after our rabbit many times while we were away and we were so pleased with the exceptional standard of service and care they provided. We were very worried about leaving him as he is a rescue rabbit who we love him to pieces, and he is a creature of habit. I gave them a lot of information and they did a fantastic job! They were so attentive to him and when we got home the room was clean and tidy. We are really happy with choosing Caroline and Ant to look after him!

Absolutely delighted with Caroline and Ant’s services! They recently looked after our very elderly cat whilst we were on holiday and we were so pleased with everything they did. Prior to our holiday Ant visited us and really took time to understand our requirements. When we were away they sent messages and photos to keep us updated, which we really appreciated. When we got home our cat had obviously been very well cared for and everything had been left very clean and tidy. It’s not always easy to leave your pets in other people’s care, so it is fabulous to have found people we trust and have absolute confidence in. Thank you Caroline and Ant!

Caroline and Ant were extremely responsive before, during and after the period they provided their services to us while we were away. They took wonderful care of Tilly and carried out a thorough visit to our home before we went away to take all the necessary details and meet Tilly. She seemed much more relaxed in the photos we were sent than when we’ve had her in a cattery so we are really pleased.

Caroline and Ant are fantastic! They’ve been looking after our 2 cats and a rabbit (zoo!) for many years. One of our cats is on medication. I can rest on holiday knowing that they are in safe hands. I always get updates and pictures whilst we’re away. Thoroughly recommend *****

Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. The heartwarming videos they share on Instagram always brighten my day, showing all the happy dogs playing and enjoying themselves. They provide a wide range of activities and enrichment experiences, and you can even book additional services like baths, tail trims, and full grooming. Amber absolutely loves her time with them and has grown so much more confident since she started attending. I would highly recommend Oxford Pet Whisperers to anyone looking to enhance their puppy’s socialisation. Or to anyone needing day care facilities due to work schedules.

Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!

Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.

once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.

We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.

From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻

All I can say is that this company provides a fantastic service - my 16 week Frenchie had the time of his life playing and mixing with the other dog and staff. thanks for all the support and kindness you gave to my little boy.

Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️

I have known Amanda for several years as she used to occasionally look after our dog who we sadly lost last summer. We now have a rescue spaniel who hadn't been socialised sufficiently and could be anxious around other dogs. After only a handful of sessions in their wonderful private paddock, we can see Willow's confidence improving. Amanda and her team provide a safe and caring environment for our much loved pets and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I’ve been absolutely delighted with Amanda and her team, having recently stopped working from home and needing support with my German Shorthaired Pointer during the day. Amanda shows the utmost professionalism - she is highly experienced and also clearly loves what she does and does an excellent job. I love getting the photo updates and am convinced my dog is in the best hands. I was worried about leaving her but any anxiety dissipated straight away. We are very lucky and I cannot recommend SOPS highly enough.

Fantastic, friendly and caring service from South Oxon Pet Services. Amanda recently looked after our 3 cats, coming in twice a day to ensure they had everything they needed and keeping them busy with cat treat puzzles and other games. I always worry about leaving the cats but Amanda kept us reassured with plenty of photos and videos. Highly recommend!

I have used the boarding services of South Oxon Pet Services for a number of years now for my two Working Cocker Spaniels. It is great to see the daily photos of my dogs out on their walks while my wife and I are on holiday or when South Oxon Pet Services have them for the day. I can highly recommend their services and have total faith my dogs are in good hands.

I first used SOPS 8 years ago for my Cockapoo Cracker. I was anxious about leaving him for the first time but he had a wonderful stay . It was lovely to see daily photos of him on Facebook while I was away. Amanda and Tony are friendly and easy to get on with and provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the animals they look after. Cracker and I moved away to Wales a few years ago but I recently used their services again. Cracker made himself at home instantly as if he’d never been away and on my return, apart from being delighted to see me of course, he was relaxed and clearly had a wonderful holiday too. Thank you SOPS. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

Saying THANK YOU is not enough for the service Amanda and Tony provides. We were going away for ten days for the first time since we have adopted Ruby more than two years ago. She is a sensitive and stressed senior girl around anyone new. Amanda reassured us prior our departure that everything will be fine and provided regular updates with pictures and videos through our stay. Ruby seemed to get used to with Amanda and Tony quickly, which demonstrates how caring and loving they are. When we have returned Ruby didn't seemed stressed and she look well looked after and happy. After all Amanda gave Ruby her favorite treats :). They have also ensured that our bins were moved in and out of the property for collection, and even potted up plant plugs when they were delivered while we were away and saved all the plants. I will definitely use South Oxon Pet Service again and will recommend anyone looking for affordable and the best pet service they can have by miles. Thank you both!

Having never used a pet sitting service before I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Amanda exceeded my expectations. Her service was personalised and the care she gave for our cat Ozzi was exceptional. He injured his paw which required stitches just before we went on holiday. This meant he was housebound for a week which he is not used to and is a timid cat by nature. She visited twice daily and administered his antibiotics and took him for his check up at the vets and kept us updated with her fantastic photos and gave us the reassurance we needed that he was in good hands. We returned from our 2 week holiday to a very contented cat and his paw has healed beautifully. I highly recommend South Oxon Pet Services and would not hesitate to use them again. 🐈‍⬛🥰

Amanda has looked after willow since she was 4 months old ,she was recommended by a friend ,willow was a very nervous puppy when we got her and was literally scared of everything and everyone willow was so bad biting all the time and not just puppy biting really biting that we very nearly got rid of her ,Amanda was so good and patient with willow and treated her like she was her dog even took her home to play with her dogs Now 2 years later willow is a different dog so calm cuddly and very loving although she still has some nervoness in her until she trust you then she's your best friend Amanda has been amazing for willow she goes out everyday with Amanda for walks and boards at her house when we go away willow knows when the door bell rings it's Amanda and looks forward to seeing her and her walks if it wasn't for Amanda and all her help and training willow would not be with us now would definitely recommend Amanda and south oxon pet services 100%

Amanda took great care of our cat whilst we were on holiday. It was so much easier leaving him at home knowing he would have visits and be fussed over, than taking him to a cattery. It was wonderful to see pictures of him on Facebook and Amanda kept in touch to let us know how he was getting on so we didn't need to worry! We came back to a very happy cat (we didn't even have the usual post holiday sulk, either!!). Would very much recommend to anyone looking for someone to look after their fur-baby whilst they're away!

Jo, Hannah and Emma have been walking Bodhi since we moved to the area in 2020 and they’ve done a fab job for us. Always punctual, they take great care of our precious pooch and make sure he comes back nicely tired out after a great time with his furry friends. They often send us hilarious photos of Bodhi enjoying himself which is an added bonus. Bodhi clearly loves all the team and gets very excited when he hears them calling his name for a walkies. If in doubt, book Rambles!

Rambles always look after our two cats whilst we're away and provide a fantastic service! Jo and the team are great - very friendly and professional and they always make sure they spend some time with the cats, playing or grooming, before feeding them. On occasions, when asked, they've been more than happy provide a house-sitting service and have stayed over for a few nights with the cats. Would definitely recommend them.

I have only good things to say about Rambles. Not only as a customer but also as an employee. I first came across Rambles when looking for some part time work that would fit around my shift pattern. They have been a pleasure to work for, and I knew that the service provided was what i wanted when I got my own dog. We have used Rambles since our dog was a puppy. Jo and her team provided puppy visits and then walks as he got older. Rambles really focus their service on the dog. If multiple dogs are on a walk together Jo and the team will ‘test’ the dogs out together to make sure they all get on together. On walks the dogs get well exercised and have playtime as well as a walk. What really sets Rambles apart is the little things, like Christmas presents for the dogs, taking into account the needs of the dogs. For example, Merlins Christmas present contained puppy treats when he was little, then some favourite chew treats the following year. I would be hard pressed to think of anyone other than Jo and her team at Rambles to look after my furry friend.

Jo and her team go out of their way to look after the dogs, cats and pets in their care. They genuinely love their walks and pet visits, keep you up to date with photos and even remember birthdays! I would highly recommend Rambles if you're looking for super friendly, caring, honest and reliable pet care.
