It is clear that Gillian and Richard love animals. Our dog Cooper was very well cared for while we were away. Cooper was given plenty of attention and taken on what sounded like some great and adventurous walks. Perfect for a Labrador. He was in very good spirits when we returned. Gillian and Richard happily stopped by a few weeks in advance so we could meet each other and talk about the pet sitting. Communication was easy and they always responded quickly to my questions or comments. They were very easy and tidy house guests. The apartment was clean when we returned, sheets were changed on the bed and all the dishes had been washed. And I was very appreciative that they were so flexible when our train was late returning on the final day. Gillian and Richard are 2 very kind people, and I definitely would welcome them back to pet sit.

Deborah & Albert

Debbie and Albert were perfect sitters for my 3 dogs. I could see immediately that my dogs had been very happy and comfortable without me. My house was clean and tidy on my return. Albert had even fixed a couple of minor outside things too and Debbie had left a meal for me after they had left. Very kind and much appreciated. I am happy to wholeheartedly recommend Debbie and Albert to look after their dogs and home whilst they are away.

Davina

I have been privileged to have Davina again care for my three boy cats this year. In 2024 she was here for two months and the wonderful, kind and meticulous care she showed Paris, Felix and Colin last year was mirrored on this latest stay of one month. Once again, I returned home to a pristine house and three very contented boys that, I suspect, would have been more than happy to stay longer with Davina. I cannot recommend Davina highly enough as a pet carer and housesitter. She is friendly, flexible, organised and self-motivated and I really hope that she will return again in the future. I wish her well on her adventures. 😊🌈🐱🐱🐱

Carol & Dan

Carol and Dan are such a lovely couple. They took such great care of our cat Alfie, letting him come to them in his own time. They clearly became great friends. Our house was beautifully clean and tidy on our return, with gorgeous fresh flowers and in the evening cooked us a lovely meal. Dan kept himself busy building a work bench for us and cleared our barn, we were delighted. Carol especially loved being with Alfie and they became great friends which was lovely to see. They are so thoughtful and anyone having them to come and house sit would be extremely lucky. Thank you Dan and Carol.

Anna did a great job cat sitting my two cats. She kept in touch and sent photos and I returned home to a clean and tidy house and my cat's were calm and happy. I will definitely request Anna again.

Emily and James are always a delight to have pet sit our three animals . Cedar their daughter is growing up so fast and is great with animals. Her curiosity and love shine ! Joel ended up taking care of our house for two weeks. We found him to be very conscientious and found the house in very good condition upon his return. His biggest challenge was keeping one of our sneaky cats from escaping the house - which she did manage twice. When it happened, Joel was clearly concerned and tried his best to help resolve the situation. I would certainly recommend Joel for taking care of your house/apartment.

I hightly recommend this amazing, smart, well travled couple who are so friendly I wish we lived close! As for the basics... total 5 plus stars if TH woud let me put a few firworks on their sticker star chart... They went above and beyond caring for our dog and property during heavy rains and epic flooding in the surrounding areas. It almost never rains in our neck of the woods and they were able to keep everything secured and our hight energy GSP happy... that's amazing. Our house was tidy and a small gift and peronal note was left behind... just so thoughtful. Probably my favorite was the sound advice to us on words shared during weddings... and the wisdom of world travleing imparted to our daughter. These are the bonuses you gain when opening your home... Pete and Nicole... you are forever welcome to stay in our home! Thank you everything... you truly "dar luz" or rather you truly give light wherever you go.

Once again we thank our great fortune to have found Saskia. After 3 trips this year, where she has looked after our precious ones and our home, she has become a friend to us and most certainly our pets…and is the definition of how the Zeewoi relationships are meant to be. Beyond her thorough planning, self-sufficiency, ability to run a house, and kindness…she really hones in on the pet behaviour and any concerns - and provides thoughtful feedback. Janine s a lovely, kind and gentle person. Communication with her was excellent. She left the house in perfect order. She washed the linens and remade the guest bed which was appreciated as I had a friend returning with me. Most of all Red the cat was happy and content when I got home. Sabrina stayed a week with our pups while were were on a vacation in Palm Springs and she was FABULOUS!! Since she lived several hours away she was happy to come stay with us the night before we left so that she could get to know the dogs and go over everything before we took off in the morning. She is extremely smart, dependable, tech-savy (she helped us with a computer problem we had been struggling with!) and has excellent common sense.

Most importantly, Sabrina is such a happy, joyful person and is very loving and affectionate with our dogs. She started carrying little Frosty around the house and garden with her 5 minutes after we met her. We also got daily photos and videos of the dogs, as we requested, with both Coco and Frosty showering her with kisses. I don't think their tails stopped wagging the entire week we were gone!

Aside from caring for our dogs, there are some complex responsibilities in taking care of our home. We have wild finch and hummingbird feeders that need to be filled, a recirculating water fountain to be tended to, and plants monitored and watered. Sabrina handled it all beautifully and our house and garden were in perfect condition when we arrived back home.

Sabrina is also very compassionate. She had planned to take the dogs to the beach for the day and piled up the car with the cooler, dog seats, dog stroller, etc., but when she finally loaded the dogs in, Coco got scared and started panicking. Sabrina didn't want to further distress her, so changed her plans, unpacked the car and decided to stay home after all.

Though we asked her to walk the dogs once a day, preferably in the morning, she walked them twice a day- morning and early evening, and about 40 minutes to an hour each walk. When we arrived home the house was immaculate and the dogs were happy to see us! They were calm and snuggly and we could tell- very well taken care of. We will definitely be asking (or begging!) Sabrina to sit for our dogs in the future!
