This was one of the best house sits I have ever had the pleasure of doing! Paul and Wowie are the loveliest couple and are so kind and welcoming. Their farm is situated in a beautiful location and has the best views! The bungalow is lovely - spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. Juno, Poppy and Pepper are the sweetest girls and we bonded straight away. They are probably the best behaved labs I have ever met and I loved spending the weekend with them! Caring for the pigs, sheep and chickens was lovely - they are so funny and it was nice to see their individual personalities show as the days went on. I now know a lot more about sheep than I did last week! Boots the cat is adorable and hilarious the way he tolerates the dogs licking and rubbing all over him. Overall I loved this house sit so much and I can't wait to be back again in September!
Wednesday and June are super playful and loving pups! I had a lovely stay with them. Harriet was a great host whose hospitality made this stay super comfortable.
Too many good things about this sit to list them all here. Toby is a smart, calm, but energetic member of the family. Such a great companion for everything we did. The location of the home is pretty much perfect for us. Erin and James have put together a very comfortable home. Everything you need: including a VERY comfortable king sized bed. We got used to Toby sleeping between us. It will be an adjustment when he is not there. He's a very good sleeper and lets you get your rest. He just wanted to be where we were. The only time he barked was when the mailman came (because he would bring a treat) and when we sat and watched the news on TV. There is a certain time each night that he wants to play, after he gets that out of his system, he'll just lay next to you and relax. He loves his walks. Watch to make sure he doesn't eat something he shouldn't while on a walk as he is constantly on the prowl for a goody. Erin and James are the perfect TH hosts. We were made to feel like it was OUR house while they were gone. This is just how TH is supposed to work.
I enjoyed sitting for Carol's fur babies. The kitties were welcoming and warmed up to me pretty quickly. I live locally to Carol so it was easy to meet up in person prior to the sit. Carol is incredibly organized. She left a very detailed binder that included everything I could ask. The home is lovely. I hope to be able to sit for her again.
We had a great time pet sitting for Erika and Steven! They were super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed before they left. Their two (super cute) pups were a joy to watch and very easy to manage. The 2 cats popped in and out occasionally and were very sweet (& loved their treats). Their apartment’s also in a great location and has the most amazing view of the city! Thank you again Erika and Steven for letting us into your home and trusting us with your furry family members!
Richard has a beautiful house in a lovely area which makes taking Cleo for walks a breeze. Cleo was very well behaved and is an awesome dog to hang out with. Lots of hair shedding, but very easy to manage with the vacuum. Overall, a great sit 😀
