I was so happy to get the opportunity to dog sit for Gail because talking to her on the phone you could tell how nice and appreciative she is. She said it was her first time using Trusted Housesitters, so I was glad she didn't hesitate to accept me and put confidence in me. On my way to sit for her, I had car problems, but she waited up for me patiently and came and picked me up after dropping my car off. Gail's sweet dog Charlie and I hit it off from the start and he even slept in the bed with me the first night. He is really easy to take care of, loves his walks and did fine when I would leave him home alone. He loves to play and has a lot of personality. Gail's place was in a great location within walking distance of a ton of restaurants and the BART. It's also a short driving distance to the bay and Cal-Berkeley University. Her place is simple, cozy, clean and has a nice courtyard to relax in during nice weather. I certainly would love to sit for her again if given the chance.
My stay with Walter and Olive was such an enriching experience! The Apartment Complex is clean and safe withinwalking distance of shops and restaurants. Fanny has created a peaceful space that is very clean and easy to care for. Fanny made me feel welcome and made sure I had information to enjoy the area. Wilmington and surrounding areas are beautiful and I could have stayed forever. If you ever get the opportunity to do a sit here, you can be assured that it will be a great experience.
