Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Well, all the best to you! Thank you for a wonderful sit. I hope you get all sits that you hope for in the future!

María was an ideal house sitter for us. She was easy to communicate with and took great care of my cats. I could tell when I got home that their needs had been met consistently. In addition, María left our home spotless, which is such a gift when returning home after a long day of travel. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to my friends and family ❤️🙏❤️

Megan & Jon have a great location just outside of Asheville. It's close, but in the country and it has well water, which I like. Megan was wonderful, she kept in touch via texting & answered all my questions. The chickens were chickens, easy enough to feed, they mostly need supervision, they gave me a lot of fresh eggs. Scrappy was adorable, an absolute pleasure to take care of! She's a super sweet, affectionate cat & fun when she goes into play mode. I was even visited by the elusive Jazzy 3 times. Also, they gave me two tickets to tour the Biltmore grounds, I appreciated that.

Colleen and Dan are just super accommodating and welcoming! They gave me a lot of advice and had great conversations during the time they are there.

The kitties are just a bliss! They are just the most friendly cats ever…they will let you touch and play with them upon first encounters, which is not that common for the feral clan: Coco my sleep buddy at night :), Sprocket waiting for me at door whenever I return, and Loki the furryball asking you to brush his belly all the time.

I had a wonderful time there in Basel. Thanks Colleen and Dan :)!

We had a wonderful stay at Sharon's looking after Charlie. It was in a little village just outside Salisbury with a decent pub and good beer! There were plenty of walks nearby - one of our favourites was across the farmland to the next village to buy fresh milk straight from the farm.
Sharon’s house was spacious, very clean and in a beautiful rural setting - it was so dark and quiet that we slept in often!! We had our own large, double bedroom and bathroom.
Charlie was great fun to look after. He is a very polite dog who loves to walk. We had 2 walks each day which gave Charlie plenty of time to sniff the world!!
Sharon provided us with a thorough welcome guide and lots of local maps, which proved very useful.

We had a fantastic time with Henson and Hawkins. There are utterly delightful dogs and extremely entertaining in the best way!

The house and location are wonderful and Nicole and David made sure that everything was ready for us and we had the information we needed.

The surrounding area is beautiful and Henson and Hawkins accompanied us to Mevagissey, Fowe and Charlestown as well as so many walks on the headland, at the beach and coastal path.

We would totally recommend this sitting to others, especially if you love airedales.

We had the pleasure, sitting for Rachel and her family, while looking over the most friendly and energetic Zuma. Zuma is great fun, and is always ready for a walk. And what beautiful walks they are with the mountains surrounding the Manigod Valley.

Apart from the beautiful scenery, the house was extremely comfortable, whether relaxing inside, or watching the day pass on the back deck, while taking in the sound of cow bells.

We only got to meet Rachel and her son, but enjoyed the time we spent with both on the afternoon preceding the start of the sit. Rachel is a friendly person, whose warmth resonated thru the house, providing us a rewarding Housesit.

We recommend this as an attractive sit for others, and we also would look forward to a return sit.
