We really enjoyed our time with Shilo in Villaz-St-Pierre and we would gladly return! Shilo is a great dog, very well trained, affectionate and loves his food! He does not like to walk in the rain and he likes to walk with everyone in the household, he thinks he is missing out on something exciting if someone stays home and won’t walk long enough so it is best if everyone walks with him. Christel has a lovely home, very modern in a cute little town. Her home is close to the train station to commute to Romont to do groceries or to bigger towns to explore. Christel was a lovely host, we met the day before she left to make sure Shilo was comfortable and she very kindly picked us up from the train station and made us dinner. We would recommend this sit to everyone!
I loved taking care of Charlotte for a long weekend. She is very shy but curious. She slept most of the day, but she would come out in the afternoon to play a little bit. She's very sweet. Tim and Pamela's apartment is clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated right near the beach and the main street. They were careful to make sure I understood all the directions, and they did everything to make sure I was comfortable, even letting me use their washing machine. They are a very sweet family, and their sit is highly recommended.
This sit was a wonderful experience! Alex allowed me to come over and settle in the night before the sit so I could start work on time the next day. She was a generous host and great at communicating with me when I had questions. Mavis and Baby were both a joy to look after. They wanted to be near me and took naps in the room with me. Their food and walking schedule is very easy to follow. I loved the neighborhood and location so much. Cannot recommend this sit enough!
Nui is friendly and pleasant. She supplied very detailed information about how to care for Minnie. She ensured that all house information was covered as well and certainly made my stay welcoming. Minnie is a very friendly very cute cat who is easy to care for. I do hope to be available to sit Minnie in the future.
Our first official sit with TrustedHousesitters was a 5 star experience! Kim and Scott live in a beautiful house with fabulous views. We arrived the night before they left and went over everything regarding the house and the sweetest dog ever, Riley. (We only kept 1 dog as they took Seamus with them). The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with many great walks for dog-walking. Riley is so affectionate & well-trained, and although she missed her brother & parents, the 3 of us bonded quickly. This little Jack Russell Terrier is the best; everywhere we went people wanted to pet her and love on her! We loved staying at Kim & Scott's house and would definitely do it again!
We had the most amazing time sitting for Chet & Melissa. Their home is so beautiful and comfortable, we were able to truly relax and feel at home. Zelda was so fun and spirited. Leeloo is just so chill and low maintenance. And our buddy Merlin was always there watching and sneaking in cuddles. Watch Merlin at nights because he's got a foot feitsh and likes to nibble lol Zelda and Leeloo are like most siblings that tend to have their moments where they're better off separated to keep the peace but they were always very loving and cuddly with us. We hope to spend time with them again!
