We had a lovely time at Julie's adorable house nestled in a quiet neighborhood by a university. The university allows public access to their library, and it is beautiful. It's a great space to work! Also, a short walk away! Noah, the doggo, is a sweet old man but needs a helping hand from time to time. Both kitties are sweeties. Gordita is a master communicator with her tail, and albeit shy at first, Toot-toot was a playful charmer by the time we left. Great communication and easy sit overall from Julie. Happy to return again someday.
Meeting Joan and Milo has been such a gift for us. We also feel we have made lifelong friends. Joan has gone out of her way to help us while we have been in Brisbane, for both the house sit and after. On the day we arrived, she made us a fantastic dinner, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay in her beautiful, peaceful home, including all the info we could need about the area. And then there is Milo, and there are no real words to describe Joan's beautiful boy. A poodle, highly intelligent, 21 and blind and deaf, Milo is a true zen master. Full of love, all he does is beam out love to all around him. Being in his presence is a humbling and learning experience. If you get the chance to meet Joan and Milo and to house sit for them, jump at the chance because your life will be better for it. Thank you Joan for picking us and inviting us into your life. We had a wonderful stay with Sadie and Teddy. Our daily walks were in the surrounding community of quiet streets making walks easy and fun. From the moment we connected, Kelly made me feel excited to meet her, welcomed to enjoy her beautifully appointed home and at ease to ask questions or share requests. She even left us a welcome basket of treats which was meaningful and kind. Having our own bedroom and bathroom let us settle in immediately. Sadie and Teddy are affectionate dogs who took to us readily. Their energy is infectious! We would love a future stay pet-sitting and know we could reach out again to this knowledgeable Charlotte resident! Thanks for a great stay Kelly!
Staying at Sarah's was a lovely experience. The neighborhood has anything you need and the commute to Manhattan is easy. Sarah was always very communicative and helpful and everything went smoothly. Phoebe is the best! She is the funniest cat. I miss her. She is also very easy to take care of. Overall my experience was amazing. Would do it again anytime!
Spending time with Milton was such a treat! He's a very relaxed, cuddly, friendly, playful little dog. We had a lot of fun exploring his favorite hikes. He's very easy and just a delight! Mary is a fantastic host. She took good care of me and made sure I had everything I could possibly need. She even took the time to show me around Pacifica and take me grocery shopping, which I very much appreciated! The location was great, very walkable and near the beach. All in all a wonderful sit. We really enjoyed sitting for Vinny at Michelle and Owen‘s lovely and comfortable home! Communication with them in advance was incredibly thorough and the manual was the best we’ve ever seen and set us up for success. They really thought of everything and we enjoyed trying many of their local restaurant recommendations! Vinny was the sweetest companion and curled up with us in the evenings. We highly recommend this sit!
