Jana
Had a great stay at Jana and Ian's house; they made sure to have everything we need and the communication was smooth.
Jo is an adorable beagle; he has his own personality and loves cuddles and snacks. He's a great hiker and shines in every picture. Thanks for this lovely experience!

Basia & Colin
Basia and Colin welcomed us to their beautifully appointed home. We were given a great introduction to their four cats and a detailed care plan. We enjoyed strolling round the garden and vege patch. Their home is close to several areas of interest and towns nearby have a good variety of shops and markets. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Justine & Ollie are a lovely couple with the sweetest family. We flew in a day early and met them at their place briefly before their flight which was super convenient.
Rusty the cat is easygoing, yet endlessly entertaining. He would jump to the sink to drink water from the faucet, and headbutt our hands for pets occasionally. I loved letting the faucet drip and watching him lap it up!

Juno was skittish in the beginning, but she was easy to read and be present with. It helped that we have experience working with rescues and are HSP’s with a trauma informed background. The first night, she hunkered down under the guest bed, no thanks to the roaring engines of the blue angels. Juno happily devoured her food the second day after we mixed dry kibble with her wet food plus a bit of water, and warmed it in the microwave for a minute. She is not food motivated but once she got used to our presence, she would hang out in bed or on the couch with us all day. We loved her company!

Oh, and lets not forget about Conrad the beta fish. Fish are friends, not food! Just kidding, we are omnivores. But Conrad is too cute to consider. Plus we like his fancy wheatgrass tank and the sound of trickling water. He just requires a sprinkling of feed once daily!

Their cosy Andersonville home has plenty of eateries nearby and easy beach access, which is all we care about as homebodies. We bought some amazing corn (Mirai sweet) from the farmers market down the block on Wednesday’s and had the best arancini of our lives from Sfera. We enjoyed their Nat King Cole, Coltrane, & Fleetwood Mac records
as well as their selection of books - I finally got to read White Fragility and the Humans of New York book. And their balcony is the perfect place to catch the sunset while enjoying some food & good company.
Overall we loved our time with Rusty, Conrad, & Juno!!

PS Sorry about your citronella candle - the mosquitoes loved us when we sat on the balcony and Mark attempted to unbury two of the wicks by carving them out..I didn’t see the carnage until it was too late 😂 xx

Camilla
Camilla and her family are warm and friendly! We had the sweetest time with Jessie. She’s very affectionate and loves sitting with you and going for long walks with her ball.

The house is in an amazing location… a quick walk to the beach. We swam most days and walked Jessie on the beach everyday.

Camilla set us up with everything we needed on the first day. The house is lovely and you’ll want for nothing.

We miss Jessie and would love to return.

Thanks again :) x

Terri
I had the pleasure of petsitting for Theresa when she recently traveled for work in early March. Idaho, her sweet rescue, was great company! We enjoyed 2 hikes per day around herneighborhood and took a couple of trips to some local dog parks! I loved every minute both caring for Idaho and staying at her very comfortable and well appointed bungalow! (Hi speed internet, smart TV, laundry, nespresso machine or French press! )
Terri’s place has everything you need for a wonderful petsitting gig, in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Salt Lake City (according to a local I met on the chairlift!) Speaking of which, I skied at 5 different areas within 40 minutes of her house! Idaho has a doggy door and fenced in yard so she was good for a few hours while I skied! It was so nice to go “home” to her at the end of the day and take her for a nice hike. I loved that she was an affectionate cuddle bug and I miss her very much! I am really hopeful that I can sit for her again next winter

Shima
It was SUCH a pleasure to have the opportunity to care for Shima's fur-babies!! Shima made the experience effortless and has the sweetest cats anyone could hope to spend time with. We did not see much of beautiful Kit because he preferred to stay outside during our stay, but we LOVED the time we got with the others. Calvin is just the most easy-going cat! He gracefully tolerated all the cuddles my seven-year-olds dished him and always seemed to have a smile on his face! Hobbie spent the days behind the couch and came out in the evenings to hang out with us. She waited for us to approach her but loved to be petted, especially while she ate. Finally, purring Koko is the perfect cat for those who love kitty cuddles!

Shima is so friendly and easy to communicate with! Her home is very comfortable, modern, and in a nice neighborhood. I considered our experience to be ideal and we're so happy for the opportunity!
