Trevor and Natasha were newly arrived in their home with a missing container and 3 quite skittish and 1 quite chilled cats. I'm so glad we had the chance to help provide a safe place for the cats to orient and settle in their new home while their mum and dad were unexpectedly absent. It's a lovely area and only short walk into Sevenoaks and even less to the deer park. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Responsive and supportive communication. We felt very welcome. Highly recommended.
We have really appreciated meeting Sara, her Boys and the stay in Marseillan. From the beginning, there was a nice connection with her and we realized that we had a lot of things in common. With Fred and Barney we also connected right away. They are very calm and affectionate cats, especially Barney (to have more food ;D). The apartment is in a very quiet area just a few steps from the lake, where you can take a leisurely walk. The beach is also close and in the town there are very good restaurants. It was a pleasure meeting Sara and her Boys!
Starting with the good. All the animals were very sweet. Luna is extremely loving and cuddly, she even was extremely patient with my toddler. Lily was also very sweet but kept her distance a bit more. Moody is sweet and playful and listens to his commands pretty well, but is maybe a bit more rambunctious than I would recommend for very small children, they were getting along okay by the end of the 3 days though. The house itself is where I just can't in good conscience give 5 stars. It was extremely dirty and cluttered. My feet always felt dirty and there were larger pieces of who knows what that I was always walking on. The shower was even more dirty, the floor felt gritty, there was some orange shiny mold on the ceiling, and the faucet was in very bad condition and difficult to work. The instant pot was also left very dirty and I had to clean it to use it. All in all, if you just need a place to be and you are by yourself it could be okay, but just know what you are getting into.
I had a great short sit at Jacqueline's lovely home with Indie. Indie is very sweet and affectionate, and was very easy to take care of. She likes to spend some time with you, including playing with her toys, as well as snoozing. The house is very comfortable and stylish, with everything you need to relax and feel at home. Jacqueline was very kind, welcoming and easy to communicate with. The location is great - a couple of minutes to the seafront, from where you can stroll along the promenade into Brighton. It's very near a small park, independent shops and cafes, and train stations and bus routes. It felt like a peaceful, safe neighbourhood. I'd be very happy to sit again.
Andrea and Clive are so lovely and we’re extremely grateful they chose us to look after their beautiful home in Thakeham. Their pets Alfie and Oska are a true delight to be around and we will miss them! We would highly recommend this stay and look forward to returning soon x
Looking after Hector was a dream! He is a friendly and confident but very independent cat. He spent most of the day outside observing from the garden and came to hang out with me in the evenings and greeted me every morning when I came downstairs. Briony's home is beautiful, very clean and spacious, and for London super quiet too. It is in the perfect location especially if you have a bike as everything is just a couple of minutes away. Briony was super hospitable and welcoming and everything was easy to use/find.
