Nancy & Wes
House sitting for Nancy and Wes over New Year’s Eve 2017 was simply perfect and a wonderful experience! They welcomed us with open arms to their beautiful home in Perth and gave us a lovely start to our time in Australia after we had spent 9 months in New Zealand. Poppy, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, was a very sweet dog. She was almost deaf and diabetic and required insulin injections with meals which wasn’t a problem at all as her nature was just so lovely. She swept us all off our feet, and we had so much fun together, especially at the beach and the nearby park, and we’ll keep fond memories of her in our hearts. But not only meeting Poppy and spending time with her was a highlight of our house sit in Perth, so it was meeting Nancy and Wes. They were such great, lovely and delightful people, very generous and accommodating, wonderful to talk with, and we can’t wait to see them and Poppy again at the end of this month when they’ll spend a weekend close to our current house sit a bit south of Perth! If you get the chance to house and dog sit for them, we highly recommend you to do so!

A big “Thank you!” to you – Nancy, Wes & Poppy – for a wonderful house sitting experience! We had a fabulous time at your home, and it was a delight for all of us to meet you! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon. :-)

CJ
Our stay in Payzac was a real pleasure: Ilma and CJ gave us a warm welcome with a delicious meal!
Nooza and Bomber, the 2 endearing, intelligent cats, quickly adopted us and came to purr on our beds or on the sofa when we were watching TV.
The place gave us the chance to recharge our batteries in peace and quiet: walks and picturesque local markets.
Thanks again! We'd love to go back.

Breagh is a nice girl, very easy to take care of. She likes sitting on the balcony with you and has lots of neighborhood friends. David's place is very nice and in a great location.

Sarah
What a delight it was to sit for Sarah & Rob! They are such a lovely, generous couple and made us feel so welcome upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing a meal together the night before the sit which Sarah had kindly made. Sarah prepared a thorough house and pet guide and also introduced us to the neighbours who we enjoyed getting to know during the sit.

Widget and Zuma are beautifully natured dogs who are very well trained and we soon fell in love with them and enjoyed taking them on local walks and also further afield to beaches on occasion, they are great in the car.

The gorgeous house was very comfortable and well set up and the garden is simply divine. We enjoyed many meals outdoors enjoying the view.

Lezant is very peaceful but just a short drive to town and many lovely beach towns / beaches, walks and National Trust sites. There is a brilliant farm shop with a cafe a short walk away where you can buy great local produce and lovely meals, ice creams and coffee.

We wouldn’t hesitate to sit for Sarah and Rob again should the opportunity arise. Thanks again!

Rob
I had the pleasure of looking after Gracie and Maybe while Rob and his wife were away, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Both dogs were an absolute joy to take care of. I appreciate the trust that Rob and his wife placed in me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Gracie and Maybe, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been their house sitter. As a Trustedhousesitter, safety and comfort are important to me. I was pleased with the location and kindness Rob and his wife showed me. Super cool people and excited to be back

Vanessa
Staying at the home of Michael and Vanessa was absolutely perfect. Darjeeling is a super sweet cat that enjoys laying in the sun and sitting in the room with us. She’s shy but gentle and is great company. Michael communicated everything beforehand and made sure that we had everything when we arrived. They even left us many amazing tips of fun activities to do in the area and were so incredibly hospitable. The home is in a great location, and was very relaxing. Would love to spend a few days with Darjeeling again if we got the chance, and would recommend it for anyone who loves cats and the outdoors. Thanks again! -Anna and Ben
