Eddie and Mabelitza were a pleasure to work with. They kept us updated with photos of our pup, and they were excellent communicators both prior to, and during the sit. They left our home clean and tidy, and our plants had been well cared for during a bit of a hot spell. Most importantly, our dog was relaxed and content when we arrived home. I would highly recommend Eddie and Mabelitza, and would welcome them back anytime.
This was the second time that Ivan house-sat for us, and there is no question that he was absolutely the best. He could not have been more attentive and caring to Barney, our Goffin's cockatoo. Ivan would send us videos and photos of him and Barney almost daily while we were traveling, and he kept us well informed about how everything was going. His house care is immaculate, and when we returned, everything was sparkling clean. There aren't enough superlatives to describe what a kind and considerate man he is. We cannot recommend him more highly, and we will be staying in touch as he has become a good friend of ours. We will always consider him for potential future house-sitting stays. Barney misses him terribly already.
We had a wonderful expereince at this house but after the sit the communication turned sour. If felt like a cold shower to us. We enjoyed doing this housesits tasks, and we did this in a meticulous and thourough way. We are the kind of housesitters that go the extra mile because we are thankful to the people that trust us with their homes and pets. You can easily say that housesitting is a passion to us. You can imagine we were sad when we got blocked on whatsapp and a review was left without any further communication from Charlton nore Charlotte. And this all due to a wine opener that we didn't use and still proposed ourselves to reimburse and have reimbursed as 31EU was asked for this.
Tonkatsu and Odysseus were great company and easy to care for in Lydia's beautiful apartment on a quiet, tree-lined street in Bozeman. The ADU is small in square feet but so well-designed and uncluttered that it feels spacious, and it has everything a person needs. The cats are confident, relaxed, and affectionate: Tonkatsu an enthusiastic lap cat, Odysseus the explorer coming in occasionally during the day to say hello and sharing the bed at night. Lydia provided clear information about the cats and the house, warmly welcomed me and was always readily available through text. She left a great list of places to eat or get coffee, and a book of local day hikes. I would love to return one day and highly recommend the sit.
