Their home is lovely and comfortable. We loved hanging out in their beautiful garden. Hazel and Tucker are very sweet pups and were such a pleasure to spend time with. Highly recommend!!!!
We had a great time looking after Pedro and Duarte, who were very sweet gentle cats. The whole sit ran smoothly from start to finish with clear instructions and lots of useful information on the house, cats and local area. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Mike and Michelle who made us very welcome in their beautiful home. Thank you both.
Shanda's place and rescue dogs were an absolute dream. We highly recommend sitting for Shanda, who gave excellent, detailed instructions and was lovely, easy-going and highly communicative throughout the entire process. Jake and Beni are the most sweet-hearted rescue dogs you can find. Jake is an older gentleman who just needs a little patience and care with his mobility but is protective and loving at heart. Beni is a pocket rocket who loves cuddles and is one of the most obedient walkers we've ever seen. Both of them will steal your heart! Shanda's place is ideally located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood close to shops, cafes & parks. As with anywhere in LA, it's best if you have a car but there are many amenities in walking distance too. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you need - pool, garden and generous guest suite with own bathroom. Highly recommended sit, we hope to visit again!
Daisy truly is the sweetest and most loving dog as advertised in the headline. Walking into the apartment we were greeted with her warm excitement, urgent kisses and her plopping down to rest beside us on the couch. Daisy loves companionship and thrives off cuddles and pets. In a way she reminded me of a cat who I could I pet for hours as she lounged over me in various positions. She also loves to go on walks and does well in the city. She prefers the quieter streets and I don’t blame her, as the busier streets are loud and overwhelming for her. She’s well known in the neighborhood and you’ll receive tons of smiles when people see her. I’ve never been stopped or complimented so much while walking her. Sara was easy to communicate with for the hand off of keys and checking in on Daisy - her apartment was equally cozy and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We were grateful to be Sara’s first TrustedHousesitters.

Thanks to Charlotte and Herbie, who made me very welcome in their lovely home and left clear and helpful information on looking after and feeding the cats as well really useful information on the local area with nice nice walks and places to visit. The 3 cats are really affectionate with distinct personalities and a lot of fun to be around. The garden is amazing and produced an abundance of strawberries while I was there. I would happily return for another sit in the future!
