Abby is a delight and a wonderful pet sitter. She and her dog, Wynn, were great companions for my dog, Lexi. They provided a safe, fun, and stimulating environment. Wynn had little experience with cats, but she was gentle while curious about my cat,, Sophie. Abby left the house in good shape - clean, tidy, and a pleasure to return to - even though a summer rainstorm must have been an unexpected challenge. The pets and I would be delighted if Abby returns in the future.

We had a wonderful sit! Charlie the “Whatcha snacking on?” pups was a dream to meet and relax with. Chris and Staci were a pleasure to meet, quick to respond to questions, and had everything prepped for the sit. The home is absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended this sit to others.

Jo is such an amazing person with the coziest home. I stayed during the start of winter and loved watching the season change in such a peaceful part of France, while staying warm by the fire in the evenings. The dogs, Percy and Ollie, were the sweetest boys showering me with love and the cat, Willow, kept my feet warm at night in bed. The horses were amazing and only a short drive into the valley right on the river. They all loved a good brush and would ask you for your attention with a little head rub ❤️. Many times I would bring a book and just read next to the water while they kept me company.

There is a great community of people that Jo introduced me to that have become life long friends. I went to yoga and coffee every week with a neighbor. I had endless dinner and tea invites from the other women in the area. My French is not the best so it was so nice to have a great English speaking network of people.

There are so many beautiful towns to visit in the surrounding area that you will always have a new cafe and city to wander. My favorite was Cordes-Sur-Ciel for its artist vibe, cobblestone alleys, and amazing views. My favorite past time was to wander with the dogs (and cat most days) on our walks while hunting for mushrooms. (The local pharmacy will identify them for you, yummy! 😊)

Literally cannot say enough good things about my time here and I am looking forward to my next visit in the future. You won't regret your time here!

Lovely little Luna 😊
An excellent stay. Helen was incredibly welcoming and very open and generous with her home. We spent a very comfortable and relaxed fortnight in Stony Stratford.
Luna is absolutely gorgeous, she was a little shy and for the first day, we did not see too much of her apart from when she came for food. Once we had gained her trust, she was a complete delight, she plays like a kitten and especially loves playing with toys on the trampoline 😊.
Luna uses the house mainly for eating and sleeping and the garden is her playground. She didn’t go far and if we called her in the garden she would pop out from under a bush and then come running over calling out ‘hello’. She always then want to be stroked followed by a game with a toy. Her favourite toy was the red shoe lace!
We really enjoyed the sit, it was a pleasure meeting Helen, her family and of course lovely Luna. We definitely recommend this sit and hope to return if the opportunity arises.

Vanessa
My experience pet sitting for Vanessa and James was nothing short of exceptional. I would jump at the chance to sit for them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a pet sitter in the city. Thank you, Vanessa, James, and Cosette, for an unforgettable experience!

The Midtown apartment is located in the heart of city and is not only spacious but also offers breathtaking views. The generous size meant there was plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of my favorite moments was lounging on the comfortable couch, gazing out at the twinkling lights of the Empire State Building at night—a sight that truly encapsulates the magic of the city.

The apartment's proximity to Grand Central made exploring the city incredibly convenient. With easy access to transportation, I felt like a true New Yorker, immersing myself in the bustling energy of the streets. It wasn't just a weekend visit; it was an opportunity to live and breathe the vibrant culture of New York.

Of course, the highlight of my stay was getting to know Cosette, their adorable dog. Cosette's boundless energy and affection made each day brighter. Whether she was chasing after her favorite toys or snuggled up beside me, her presence filled the apartment with warmth and joy. Taking her for walks along the sidewalks of New York was a delight as she eagerly explored every scent, her curiosity infectious.

Communication with Vanessa was seamless. While she was always available if needed, she respected my autonomy and didn't require constant updates, allowing me to focus on enjoying my time with Cosette and exploring the city.

Dave and I enjoyed our house sit in Bob and Marilyn’s beautifully landscaped property, there were multiple outdoor seating areas that made it a pleasure to live there while caring for their 5 dogs. The dogs are trained to be off-leash and were never far from us, whether it was hanging out poolside with us or watching TV. Their unique personalities were quickly revealed: the Great Dane, the gentlest of giants stole my heart—Garbo was so light on her feet as she bounced and sprung in circles around Honey (a Pomski?) as they played on the lawn. It did not take long for Honey to warm up to us, she quickly and enthusiastically let us know what was on her mind, whether it was coming in hot for a treat, a nuzzle or food. Of the terriers, Lucy always managed to work her way into the position that offered the closest proximity to human touch. Ricky was the early morning ring leader, rousing the household to get feeding time underway, yet his preference was to eat alone after the others were done. Tiny Randy was always eager to cuddle and the caboose on the movement of his pack.

In the mornings, the dogs accompanied us on the patio while we watched the birds at the feeders. The airy open floor plan has a well-appointed kitchen and a very comfortable family room where we received doggy snuggles in the evenings. The pool has a sweeping view over the pasture and there are sculptures scattered throughout the carefully landscaped grounds.

The location around Prettyboy Reservoir offers plenty of nearby hiking and cycling for outdoor enthusiasts, and the house is extremely comfortable for homebodies. It was a pleasure to have such an enjoyable stay. I hesitate to write this review because we want to be the sitters of choice here! ~ Lorena Streb
