This sit was an absolute joy. Rocky's a lovely dog, still quite puppyish - full of fun and energy, well-trained and easy with other dogs. It was great to explore the area - lots of walks along the towpath, a visit to Kew Gardens and the local park. Tim and Deryn couldn't have been more welcoming and their house was perfection. Highly recommended!
Our stay in Liz house was amazing! First of all, Liz and her family has been very kind with us, and they made us feel at home from the first day, we felt super welcome. They give to us all the details related with Badger, the poultries, and the house so we were very organized and comfortable with the house and the tasks. Badger is an incredible dog, he is really lovely, respectful and calm, and we enjoyed it a lot his company, definitely we already miss him. It was hard to said goodbye to him. The house is really nice and the neighborhood amazing. We really enjoyed this time and we hope to see this beautiful family again.
We had a great time at Tanya and Alistairs’ lovely spacious and comfortable home which is situated in the beautiful Perthshire countryside near Bridge of Earn. Communication was excellent and prompt both before and during the sit, with a very comprehensive and helpful welcome guide. Bailee is absolutely gorgeous and was happy to go out for long walks in all weathers. She enjoyed her trips in the car to local cafes and pubs, where she was very well behaved. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend this sit.

Thank you ever so much for having our 2 dogs, they have enjoyed their stay. The staff here are very professional and caring and friendly. The dogs both smelt great when we picked them up, with their complimentary bath. It's about a 40 minute journey for us but well worth it, the best boarding kennels my dogs have been to. Our 2 French bulldogs have just had a 16 night stay here. They have come home happy, shiny and smelling lovely. We were worried about leaving them in kennels but we are confident they have been well looked after and we will be using Applemore for any future holidays. THANK YOU :)
Thank for taking such good care of Bertie while we were away. Having never left him before I was a bit worried how he would cope with being left. I didn’t need to worry, when I phoned midweek for a check in I was immediately put at ease. When collecting him he looked lovely after his bath , well fed and happy. Used to bring my dogs here when we went on holiday. When we returned to pick them up literally had to drag them out!! They loved it. Time goes by things change and I needed to board my cat for a week, no hesitation applemore-is the place for me. She obviously enjoyed her stay here because she was heavier than when I dropped her in. Nice friendly cheerful staff. Will use again quite happily next holiday. Bring it on!

We were nervous to leave our 10 month old kitten at 1st but after chatting with the staff and seeing the facilities we were at ease. It is very clean. They took great care of him and we were very impressed. Staff where lovely and kind and we would use them again and recommend them. Thank you to everyone who looked after our cat.
I regularly use Applemore Kennels for @Frank_Dobermann. He absolutely loves his stay and jumps out of my campervan to go on his holiday. The flexibility of the kennels to feed him the raw food I provide ensures he gets no change to his diet that I prefer. He is so happy and excited to see us when we return and pick him up. He thoroughly enjoys his stay. I recommend Applemore kennels to all my fellow dobermann owners and other dog owners too ! Book early to avoid disappointment
Found two dogs called the local dog warden . He collect and took them there . Found owner she went there hour later to be told dogs was not there on Fri and sat by Saturday evening dog warden contact owner who was very distressed and said dogs was definitely there . Come Monday finally find the dogs which was at the kennel all the time the tried saying they only got dropped there . Which we found out was a lie !!! They had the dogs since Friday and just decided to leave until Monday so owners had pay kennels bills from Friday when the owner was there Friday and could collect then???? Personally think they decided to make some money out of them . Well done hope your proud of yourself for putting owner through so much distress
It was lovely to see the standards held for customers when purchasing items for their pets, we came in to ask about a filter and plant for a small tank and were given really good advice. It really seems like the people working here care about the welfare of the animals they sell!

Quinn absolutely loves her swim sessions at new forest pet services. Rosie and her family are always so accommodating and are so good with Quinn who can be “quirky” if my work schedule and bank balance would allow it we would swim daily!

My boy is 2yrs old and weighs 54kg he loved his 1st bath and blow dry so much he tried taking me back their on our walk the following day.
So knowledgeable, experienced and so compassionate with guinea pigs and rabbits. Would highly recommend as an option to give a guinea pig or rabbit a forever home.

Thank you so much to Jacques and Reg for the amazing care to my three babies every time I’ve travelled. Jacques was also very kind, going the absolutely extra mile when my baby Bruno passed away. Bringing him to me to say a final goodbye and then answering all my queries and worries. Bruno came back to me in the most beautiful box and you could see he was well looked after in his passing as much as he was in his life. I’m very lucky to have found a pet sitter that really cares! Jacques from Animals at Home Southampton is absolutely brilliant and took excellent care of my rabbits while I was away. I came to her literally two days before I was going away as someone else had let me down last minute and even though it was such short notice, she found the time to visit them for me twice a day while I was away. She saved me from having to cancel my trip and the rabbits were looked after exactly as I had asked. I was kept regularly updated so I knew what the rabbits were up to while I was away too. I highly recommend Animals at Home Southampton to anyone who is looking for someone to take care of their beloved companion animals while they're away.
The Animals at Home team did a absolutely great job in caring for my cat (Luna) while I was away. Constant updates, videos and photos which honestly improved my holiday away, as I was worried about the leaving her. Luna is an indoor cat and has never been in a cattery, I'm so glad I decided to go with Animals at Home instead, as I think a cattery would of just really stressed her out in comparison. I highly recommend Animals at Home and will be using them again!

Jacques has been providing exceptional care for my animals since I moved to Southampton, and when the heartbreaking moment came to say goodbye to my beloved hamster, Sushi, I knew I could turn to her for support. Both Katie and Jacques showed incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism in helping me arrange Sushi's cremation. Sushi was treated with the utmost respect, and everything—from the collection to her return home—was handled with such care and love. During this overwhelmingly sad time, knowing that Sushi was in safe, gentle hands brought me immense comfort. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for little Sushi—it means the world to me.
Amazing service. We had to have our beautiful German Shepherd put to sleep recently and Jacques and Miles were so kind when they came to collect him for cremation, it made it just a little more bearable knowing he was in safe hands. Everything was arranged easily and we were kept updated until Jacques brought his ashes back home to us. Would highly recommend :)
Jacques and Miles were so so kind after the loss of our beautiful boy Mr Meow. They went out of their way to come and collect him on a Sunday night and he was home with us by Friday in a beautiful box with his paw prints. I Would absolutely recommend Daddy Dog. My dog Loki can be quite a handful but Matt is an absolute professional. Loki is my baby so it took allot of trust for him to go with someone else on walks, However Matt gives me absolute confidence, He is fully insured and qualified but above all has a real passion for dogs. Also a shout out to Katie who looks after the invoicing and payments, this is always a clear and easy process.
Matt is so kind and caring and our dog Bella absolutely loves him. She can’t wait to jump in to the Daddy Dog van and I’m so happy to see her having fun with all the other lovely dogs Matt takes out. As soon as my puppy arrived in my home I placed her on the waiting list for a space on Matt's walks as I trust him totally. He is reward based, on the ball with recall training and I knew that my puppy training would be backed up by Matt's input and that she is totally safe with him. Rosena is now 6 months and it's been lovely watching the videos I am sent of every walk seeing her gain confidence in socialising with the other dogs and she's part of a happy group of canine pals. We have been using Matt from Daddy Dog since the beginning of 2020 and we are so pleased with his services. He is reliable, professional and really good with our 8 month old puppy. Daddy dog has been professional and reliable from the the very first meeting. Matt provides a very personal service by showing nothing but pure love to our very excitable dog. Matt offers a fantastic, reliable, professional service. Woody my Lab loves his adventures so much and is very chilled out and tired after spending a "half day " day care with him. Matt keeps the dogs focused with training reminders, hunting for treats along with the added bonus of water which Woody loves like most labs. My dog is my baby, and passing her over to someone else would need to be a pretty special person, but I had zero concerns with Daddy Dog dog as he came highly recommended. He did a thorough consultation to meet us and Maple at home and was very patient with letting her settle in. Matt is the first dog walker we have used and he is so good with our dog. He is enthusiastic, reliable and good at communicating. He is always on time and is always friendly and polite. Right from the start he was very professional, coming round to meet us and our dog, went through some information forms and made us feel happy to use his company. He sends us photos and videos of the walk which is great for us to see and helps us share in the experience. Our dog enjoys the longer walk but also the interaction with other dogs. We highly recommend Daddy Dog and hope to use them for a long time to come.

Rupert has been looked after by Sarah almost every day since he was a puppy, he’s now two, his daily walk and care that Sarah provides has helped him develop into a sociable, friendly and loving dog (although he’s still a bit weird!) he’s as important to us as any member of our family and we wouldn’t trust him with anyone else!

Sarah catsat for our three cats while we were in Spain. She provided a friendly and professional service - even sent photos of them on WhatsApp, brought in the bin after bin day and a parcel that was left on the doorstep. We have been using Laura's pet sitting services for a few years now and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Laura has always been able to accommodate requirements for our cat, rabbit and guinea pigs and nothing is ever too much trouble. We can go away for the weekend or longer knowing our animals will be in safe hands and not having to put them through the stress of going to a cattery.
Laura was extremely attentive first in knowing about us, the needs of our cats and the cats quirky aspects. Both our cats can be cautious with strangers but bonded quickly to her. The regular updates and pics we got through emails left you feeling happy in the knowledge they were in safe hands, well cared for and all in their own environment. If you want a professional, efficient and caring cat sitter, then look no further than Laura at Safe and Snug. From the initial meet and greet to the mid week update when you are away and then the final report you couldn’t get a better service. We booked Laura for 8 days and we knew during that time our cat Rocky would want to go out and disappear for a few days (which we made her aware of) and he did just that. Laura made the point of returning to see if he was there and asked to be kept informed of when he returned which we did when he finally ambled through the door. Laura clearly cares about what she does and likes to know the individual needs of the cat she’s looking after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura and would definitely use her again. Many thanks 🐱
Laura looked after our cats twice a day for three weeks while we were on honeymoon. We had regular updates and came back to some very happy cats. We have used Laura countless times now to look after our 2 cats (both getting on in years so don't want to put them in a cattery), we cannot fault Laura's care & go away safe in the knowledge they are being well looked after. She maintains regular contact when we're away including photos & keeps an accurate detailed diary of each day recording how the cats were, how much they ate etc. Add to that the little extras such as collecting up the post & turning lights on & off on request so the house doesn't appear empty while away - I can't recommend highly enough.
Never had a problem with Laura. She takes care of my cats when I go away and I trust her totally. Have used Laura (safe and snug) for a good 5 years +. I know my cats trust her. She gives updates and post pics of my cats on Facebook which is a nice touch when away.
We’ve been using Laura for the last 3 years - wish we’d have thought about this sooner as we’d been using catteries for 12 years previous. Although the cattery did everything it was supposed to do, our cats hated it...We now go on holiday knowing that the cats are well looked after and are happy. Laura provides regular updates. We have been using Laura's pet sitting service for our 2 cats for over 3 years now and can't fault her service . We have never put our boys into a cattery as we prefer them to be in their own home . Laura keeps us updated with photo's / emails and always leaves us a day to day diary of their routine . Anything your pets need is not too much trouble from feeding , medication , grooming and general fussing . We have also in the last couple of months had evening visits from hedgehogs who we have been feeding and during our last holiday Laura has been looking after the extra guests as well . Well, what can i say? Gemma is brilliant. My Cavalier King Charles, Charlie, has been walking with and looked after by Gemma for two years now! He loves her to bits! Gemma was lovely and catered to all of our dog's needs. It was so nice to get to know Gemma at the meet and greet and for Albie to feel relaxed and become more familiar with her. Albie can be quite a character, but Gemma was really knowledgeable on the topic, patient with him and caring. We received a 'school report' for each of her visits and lots of photos. It was so nice to hear that he was having a great time and then to be able to see it in the photos! The whole booking process, from booking a service to paying, was simple and efficient. Amazing, friendly service from someone who genuinely loves dogs. Gemma visited our home to see our dogs in their 'natural habitat' after coming out on a dog walk to get acquainted with them. We had some very fussy requests about one of our dogs, and Gemma implemented this without any fuss or question. Both our dogs adored her, and we will definitely be using Gemma again. Forest Waves took great care of our dog Mack for the day while we visited some non dog friendly sights. Forest Waves met us at a convenient location and kept our dog through dinner time so we could enjoy a meal at a nice Inn. They helped us and our dog have a nice day out. Definitely use them again in the New Forest and recommend!
These guys are miracle workers! One training session on lead walks and my dog was significantly better. He now goes for a group walk once a week and comes back the best version of himself! Tired, affectionate and all round good dog! Can’t rate highly enough!
Highly recommend Forest Waves Dog Care. We had a problem with our cockapoo puppy's biting habits. Nathan visited us at home and gave us advice and a few tricks to use. We no longer have a problem. We are so pleased. Friendly, professional, affordable and expertise dog knowledge.
I can highly recommend Jack and Nathan as dog trainers and walkers. I have a very stubborn dachshund that totally misbehaved when out. He was always pulling and as for recall…forget it. Now he stays closer to me and I’m even having some success on recall. We’re not quite there yet but he’s definitely much calmer and loves walking with the ‘pack’. Of course with Jack and Nathan he obeys all commands…the little toe rag.

Absolutely fantastic first aid course. I was the first person there and Charlotte & Paige were super welcoming and so lovely. The course itself was full with such amazing information which makes me so confident that id be able to support my dog and the dogs in my care. Charlotte delivered the session with such confidence and is clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about dogs, it was just lovely. Thank you again ladies, I would recommend anyone to future classes.
My husband and I attended the first Pet First Aid Course hosted by Buddiepet today. Charlotte was an excellent instructor, professional and supportive. With her extensive background knowledge she was able to elaborate on certain aspects of the course that made this a very interesting and informative day. Lots of excellent kit to practice with and experience how to do CPR on a dog thanks to the RESUS pooch. There are lots of good information leaflets, including one from Paige about behavioural signs in dogs to help during those emergency situations as well as small first aid pouches available to buy. Thank you Charlotte...we thoroughly enjoyed this very informative and valuable course today. Highly recommended!!
Cannot recommend these lovely ladies enough 🫶🏼 The course is so informative and you are not left feeling silly when you ask any questions, could be a simple question but to be reassured is underrated! Excellent pet first aid course! Charlotte & Paige are super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Really well delivered and very informative without being information overload. Charlotte made it fun and easy to understand. Everyone on the course was made to feel comfortable enough to ask and answer questions without feeling the embarrassment of being wrong. Excellent opportunities to practice CPR techniques and bandaging skills under supervision. Thank you ladies! X
I can not recommend this course enough to any one that is looking for a first aid canine course… this isn’t just for people working in the animal industry but for any dog lovers out there. Charlotte and Paige were so welcoming from the minute I stepped in to the room. They really put me at ease. Charlotte was amazing, so much knowledgeable and sharing experiences as well as delivering the course itself. The course is hands on too… which was real fun to do. It was also a lovely way to meet other dog crazy people. Thank you both Charlotte and Paige for a great day, I will be sure to be recommending you 🐾
I completed the Canine First Aid Level 2 Training course today and I would recommend it 100%. Charlotte has really positive energy and her enthusiasm really shines through, it genuinely gets people excited and motivated to learn. The course is so informative and the extras that Paige has included in the packs you can take home are fantastic. I learnt so much in 4 hours and feel confident that I will be able to help my dog and others if they ever need it. Charlotte and Paige are so warm and welcoming and are such lovely people, you can really see that they care about what they do and that they enjoy it. Thank you both so much for running this course and for spending your Saturday with us 🐾💜
Paige has been amazing with my 2 year old rescue who barked at every noise and pulled on his lead. Paige spent time talking through the issues and gave lots of ideas of how they could be tackled. Paige now does weekly solo walls with Hugo and as a result he is so much calmer and no longer pulls so much on his lead. Paige truly loves her job and all the dogs she walks. So glad I found Paige and Buddiepet
Our pooch Milo absolutely adores Paige!! He gets so excited when he sees her! Paige is not just our dog walker she is also become a friend! She is always reliable and has taught our dog so much, we would highly recommend her to anyone xxxx
I attended the canine first aid course on Sunday and was very impressed. The booking process was easy, communication from Buddiepet was excellent and I was made to feel very welcome on the day. The course was very interesting, engaging, entertaining and I came away full of knowledge and confidence. The goodie bags were awesome - highly recommend!
AMAZING! I attended Buddiepets first aid course in August and cannot recommend them enough! Charlotte is very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. First time we have used Nathan’s and it won’t be the last. We went away for two weeks and Katie came to look after our two Westies and two cats. We received twice daily updates with pictures. They were so well looked after never appeared stressed in the pics and look so well ok our return. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Nathan and his team to look after anyone’s fur babies. This team are incredible and have helped me so much while I worked. They were able to be extremely flexible, always going above and beyond for my dog and would take him on long walks. They never let me down once would highly recommended them thank you Nathan and Teri so much
Nathan has been helping me with separation anxiety training for one of my dogs. The support he gives is amazing, talks me up when I need to be reminded of the progress but also reminds me to take things steady if I’m getting too ahead of myself. He holds me to account in the kindest way! It’s a long journey for my pup and me and it isn’t going to change quickly but I couldn’t have done this without Nathan. If you don’t have a dog with SA, you just don’t understand it in the same way. I can talk to Nathan when it’s getting me down and going wrong and I know he has truly lived through the same things. I speak to him more frequently than list of my family! He’s so so super lovely
We first met Nathan a year ago when we had 1:1 puppy training classes on Zoom due to the pandemic. This was so helpful, as Luna is our first dog and Nathan really knows his stuff. He is clearly very passionate about dogs, and Nathan went on to do some training walks with Luna to support us with her reactivity which was very beneficial. Nathan still walks Luna along with his colleague, Rachel. They are both very reliable, and treat Luna as their own. We have also recently attended some Hoopers classes which Luna loves and her humans also find it fun. I can highly recommend Nathan and his team. They are very accommodating, responsive when we need them and I want to say thank you for being there.
Really enjoyed doing the Canine body language course with Nathan on Terms over 2 evenings. I really enjoyed that it was a small group and didn’t have to go far. The other people were really nice. And looking forward to doing more courses. Thank you Nathan.
I had 3 dog training sessions for my puppy Yogi with Kazzi. It was such a positive experience, I went in not knowing what to expect and was quite stressed as my puppy was really bad with his recall. Kazzi gave me lots of confidence and myself and my puppy have a better understanding of one another now, he actually listens to me now! (Most of the time lol). Couldn’t recommend them enough, amazing training! Thank you!
Been attending the new Hoopers class that Nathan is running. It's great fun & a fabulous way to connect with my dog. I've learnt some new training tips & my dog has had a sensory workout - moving safely around the space & obstacles, sniffing around, focusing on me & of course a few well earned treats along the way! Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for a bonding activity for you & your dog.
Nathan is great and takes his time to get to know each dog! 6 week puppy school was so much fun and a great environment for both the puppies and their owners! Would totally recommend! Felt very supported and able to contact inbetween sessions and the party at the end was a great way to finish things up! Thanks Nathan! 😊 …
We had Teri look after our two Paps for a week whilst we were away recently. When you go on holiday, overseas, as all dog owners know, you feel guilty about leaving your dogs behind. You hope they're all OK and that they're not missing you too much. Having Teri stay in our house means that the dogs know where they are and feel comfortable with their surroundings. Their routines are kept the same with food, where to relax and sleep at night, etc What was great is that we had constant communication from Teri with loads of photos daily, videos and messages on WhatsApp. It meant we could see how our dogs were getting on, if they looked comfortable and happy or not. To be honest, they appeared to be having the time of their lives 😂. We were really happy with how it all went and have already booked in for two more holidays next year. We'll be able to have these feeling guilt free and knowing our dogs are being looked after and loved without them feeling like we've abandoned them. Thanks Teri for looking after them.
We used Nathan’s paw trails to look after our 45 kg anxious little rescue dog and we couldn't fault his service. Would definitely use again! We had lot of updates and pictures. Great service.
I cannot recommend Sue, her approach to looking after the animals and her wonderful premises, highly enough. She is a real find. She feeds them only the best (has recommended me to where she gets lovely hays) and her free-roaming garden and Omlet large runs give each pet more than ample space. She has a lovely kind nature about herself and is very easy to communicate with, even sending me update photos of my rabbits whilst I was holiday. Thank you Sue and see you in a few weeks!
Sue is such a lovely and helpful lady who really cares for the pets, just like her own. I wouldn't use anywhere else.
Sue takes exceptional care of my bunny when we go away on holiday. Her facilities are fabulous. My bunny always has a sulk when he comes home because he's had such a good time running around in Sue's garden. Highly recommended!
Swifts is such a lovely place. We always know that our guinea pigs are well looked after, safe and loved and they always come home very happy. Sue is great - she always takes the time to chat with my children, show them her own guinea pigs which my children love and is happy to offer advice if needed. We would never leave our guinea's with anyone else!! 5 star rating is not high enough. Thanks Sue for taking such good care of our boys over the past three years.
What can I say….. I have been taking my boys to Sue for 10 years now. I really can’t express how wonderful she is. I leave my boys knowing that they are well cared for, cuddled, and loved just like Sue would her own. The best thing is Sue tells me they chat away to her, so they are clearly very comfortable, safe, and loving being on their holidays with her. I highly recommend Sue and wouldn’t consider sending my boys anywhere else xx
Swift Pet Boarding is FANTASTIC. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to give our 2 guineas a holiday whilst we were away and we instantly knew we'd found the best place possible. Sue is so warm and friendly and it's obvious that she loves looking after the animals. We go back to her every time, she's lovely, reasonably priced, and our boys get the best pampering ever. If you need somewhere to go, go to Sue!
We went to Spain for 5 days and at the last minute decided to organise a place for our one year old rabbit Luna to stay. She's been a free-range outdoor bunny for the last six months so we were concerned that we had to pick the right accommodation for her. We contacted Sue to arrange for a viewing prior to us leaving for our holiday and found Sue and her husband to be polite and extremely friendly. We saw the accommodation and a rabbit who was already there, as well as her own guinea pigs, all of which looked very healthy and happy. Sue explained about the daily routine and put our minds at ease regarding Luna's need to be'free-range' 24/7. Sue however wanted to make sure that Luna was tucked away safely at night and had the run of their garden during the day. Her garden had lots of plants and hideaways for Luna to investigate and she looked at home apparently from day 1. Sue sent us a photo of her during our time away to reassure us of this. A big thank you to Sue for looking after our little girl. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday home.
Buttercup and Daisy my rabbits have stayed at Swifts Pet Boarding twice now and both times they have been looked after brilliantly. The facilities are very clean and they get the chance to run around the lovely garden. Sue is lovely as well as letting me know how the girls are enjoying their holiday, she has keep up to date with Buttercups medication. I would highly recommend Swifts Pet Boarding.
I was able to leave my 1 year old rabbit Lola in Sue's expert care while I went away on holiday for 10 days in London. Knowing Lola would be stressed by a long journey I knew it would be better for her to stay in Southampton instead of coming along. It was hard to leave her but when I arrived at Swifts pet boarding I knew I had picked an excellent place. Luckily it is very close by where I live and it was very clean, homey and welcoming. The pets in Sue's care are in clean, spacious and cheerful accommodation both inside and outside and are very calm and content and of course cute! I almost felt like I wanted to stay for a holiday as well! It is lovely to know that if I need to go away again I can use Swifts pet boarding, especially as Lola requires eye drops 3x per day, Sue assured me nothing was too much trouble. When I came to collect her I could see her in her indoor hutch through the door and she was happily munching away on her abundant fresh hay without a care in the world, I'm sure she would have been happy to stay and we had a job to get her back into her travel case. Sue handled her gently and caringly so I can tell she is something of a rabbit whisperer. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone in need of small pet boarding Thank you Sue 😊 x
I cannot recommend Sue and Swifts Pet Boarding enough. The care given to our Budgie Zurg was amazing. It made us feel very secure in leaving in whilst we went on Holiday.
