Kristen was great!! She was super nice, communicative, and went above and beyond my expectations. I came home to a clean apartment and happy pup. Would love to have her anytime our sits and travel align.
Dan and Denise are lovely people with a great home in an amazing Myrtle Beach neighborhood. And most importantly, their DOGS, Mookie and Dokie are the best! They are so affectionate and sweet, our whole stay they just wanted to hang out with us and gave us sweet kisses all the time! They are very east to care for with no special needs. Their beautiful neighborhood was great for walking the dogs with sidewalks, walking/biking paths and little lakes. It also has an excellent pool area that we visited one day. There are lots of other things to do nearby. Within 5 minutes there's a quaint shopping/entertainment area with lots of great restaurants, stores and even a movie theater. About 10 minutes away is Myrtle Beach State Park, which has an amazing beach, pier, boardwalk and more. Dan and Denise very kindly provided us with a park pass so we could enjoy it for free. The home is beautiful and very comfortable with all comforts of a modern home. The kitchen is a true gourmet kitchen with everything you need. My daughter and I each had our own guestroom with comfy beds with a shared private bathroom. My daughter and I really enjoyed our time at their home and with their little pups. We already miss sweet Mookie and Dokie. Anyone who has the opportunity to pet-sit them is very lucky. I highly recommend this house-sit.
Nadja, Thank you for the opportunity to take care of your well-loved, beautifully-designed home, with the sweet company of Mo and Max and the 18 chickens. (for the reader…Milo the amazing Jack Russell vacationed with Nadja this time around). What a joy your animals are. The quiet neighborhood, and prolific garden added to the charm of my stay and allowed me to mainly chill for the weekend. I so appreciate you for accommodating my extra dates, the home-made meals you shared, the invitation to a concert in the park, plus it was so easy to communicate with you when needed. Best of luck with your future travels and I already look forward to sitting for you and your fur and feather family again.
I really enjoyed the month taking care of Quincy and Joey. They are very friendly cats, although Joey is quite shy and took a little while to get used to me being there. John was a great host as well. Anyone who gets the opportunity to take care of Quincy and Joey are very lucky.
I had a wonderful time on this Housesitting job. Christine and Nick are very nice and friendly. I enjoyed their home and farm life big time. Wonderful house, awesome views, lovely animals. Ape enjoyed running around on the property, he is such happy camper. Very affectionate, also is Freya the cat if you pet her. Taking care of the chicken and pigs was easy. I definitely can recommend staying at this beautiful place. Thank you to Christine and Nick!
Staying at Kacie's home was a beautiful treat. Kitsap is adorable, likes to play, and is very cuddly. She had an ear infection during my stay so I was giving her medication which was fine, as she is a submissive dog and is not in any way aggressive. She's ok with other dogs, the only thing is she pulls a lot when you walk her, so you need to use a special harness that helps with that. You will most likely not see the cats around much. They are shy and like to hide. It took them a couple of days to warm up and come out. They definitely hang out at the feeding times :) Overall I recommend to stay at Dan and Kacie's place - their pets are lovely and will enjoy a loving person around.
Sarah and Patrick communicated in a thoughtful intentional way that supported us getting the lay of the land and understanding the property and Kuma’s needs. We felt welcomed and supported to feel at home and enjoy the beautiful property and home. It’s a peaceful setting in nature that affords a sense of connection to the land and yourself. The other friends living on the property are very friendly and welcoming. We ventured a cold plunge which was fun, and enjoyed the lovely back porch with the expansive views. The location is close to charming Sebastopol, beautiful beaches, and redwoods. Couldn’t ask for better! Kuma is a delight of a soul, sensitive, playful, energetic, affectionate with knowing eyes. Loved the paw hugs and snuggles. The walk schedule is important as it helps Kuma have a bowel movement so he can then eat. We enjoyed taking Kuma to the beach and the park. Highly recommend this sit! Thank you Patrick and Sarah!
