Giovana & David
Lyla is a beautiful little Jack Russel Terrier who is super easy to look after, she’s great company, loves a good walk and is extremely well behaved on or off the lead. You can take her absolutely anywhere and we did! David & Giovana have a lovely modern home that is warm, comfortable and is equipped with everything you could need for an amazing stay. Communication was great and David gave us lots of tips and information about the area, before and during our stay. Plus, the stunning views over Lake Geneva to the mountains really set this property apart.
The location is fab on the Montreux Riviera with two great towns, Montreux and Vevey on your door step. We loved the miles of walks on the lake front and the easy access to the beautiful countryside. There are also numerous ski resorts all within 45 mins drive. David and Giovana were kind enough to lend us their Snowshoes and poles (Raquettes). We have now discovered our new favourite sport, it’s just as much fun as skiing and Lyla can tag along too! We loved Switzerland; the pretty villages, the magical snow trails, mountain railways, delicious mountain food, great Swiss wine, chocolate and amazing sunsets during our stay. The home is super comfortable, the host’s are really welcoming and Lyla is a truly delightful little dog. We hope to be back here soon!

Laurie
Laurie was warm and welcoming to us when we arrived. She is very personable and proud of her artistic home, which reflects her personal flair. Her huge back deck overlooking the river and beautiful trees added greatly to our stay. We spent much of our time at home out there, looking and listening to the many birds who occupy the area.

Bella is a gorgeous and independent kitty. She spent most of her time outside as well. She enjoys the occasional brushing and petting, although she is not a lap kitty (at least not with us). She was very gentle and never clawed, and only once jumped on the bed to remind us we were late for breakfast (with the quietest meow you ever heard).

Laurie's house is only 20 minutes to the coast (check out Jenner Headlands!). It's also about 30 minutes to Healdsburg. Laurie was generous in giving us her regional and state park passes. She was available during her absence and always sweet and friendly. She even allowed us to park our car in her garage.

We definitely recommend this stay!

Dinah
Rhys and I had the BEST time house-sitting for Dinah + Simon! They were very easy to organise everything with and are very laid back.
As for the animals, Archie is one of the best cats you will ever meet - he has bags of personality and no concept of personal space, ha! His obsession with people's hair is also hilarious. Gracie, their black lab, is sweet, loving, playful and also highly entertaining. Her tail almost never stops wagging and she is a pleasure to walk :)
Dinah + Simon's home is stunning with a large garden and in a great location. Mumbles is just a 10 minute walk away, as are Rotherslade and Langland beaches.
We would highly recommend a sit here and without hesitation would happily sit for Archie + Gracie again!!

Dylan
Our housesitting in Tallinn with Bella has been a wonderful experience. Bella is a very loving, sociable, and affectionate dog. She will let you know what she needs, and she'll always be close to you. She's very cuddly and playful (and hungry🤗). The apartment is very cozy and equipped with all amenities. It's highly accessible to the center of Tallinn and just a few steps away from a beautiful seafront and several parks for strolling with Bella. Our stay in Tallinn has been marked by snow and cold, typical in winter, something we've enjoyed. The city is very welcoming and picturesque. Communication with Dylan and Celia has been very quick and efficient, and they have helped us at all times. Undoubtedly, an experience, both with our lovely Bella and the city, that we will not forget. Thank you for trusting us!!

Sylvi
I would highly recommend pet sitting for Sylvi!
Both Sylvi and Hajo were very nice and helpful, and we communicated well during the stay. Sylvi gave a very detailed welcome guide and Hajo picked me up from the train station, I am very thankful for them.
Dora is a very friendly, welcoming, big and energetic young dog. Dora really enjoys going out for walks, and running on the grass with me. When I sit down, she always comes over and wants to cuddle and kiss me. Dora is very happy and she loves human. The poultry (chickens) are easy to work with and only need a few minutes a day to check and replenish their food and water.
The house is big and beautiful, and there are large forests and fields close by to walk the dogs, just be prepared with the right shoes especially if it rains. There is a bus stop close to the house, so it is easy to take the bus to the city center or other places, also Hajo is happy to lend out his electric bike.
Thanks for all!

Debbie
We stayed 2,5 Weeks at Debbie's home and we had a great time. Debbie provided us with all informations on paper and she also walked us through everything before she left. The house was clean and the kitchen was great for cooking. Her garden is very beautiful, so its nice to sit outside or have a little campfire. Even that the property is wide, it wasn't a problem to take care of the flowers and lawn and actually it was a lot of fun to drive the lawn mower. Debbies cats were also very easy to look after. They are mostly outside cats but we also enjoyed to having them inside each day for a little while. Mop was getting along with us from the start, Mr. Cocky was shy at first, but he came around after a little while :)
It's super quiet at Debbie's place and great for everyone, who loves the nature. Supermarket and Provincial Parks are close by with the car. Debbie was super helpful giving us tips what to do in the area and if we had any questions, it was no problem to contact her.
If we are ever close to Edmonton again, we will definitely visit again!
