Celia has a comfortable home with lots of open space and trees. She's easy to work with and responsive. Pele, the dog, is receptive to consistent commands and exercise. He and the cat, Clementine, are very entertaining. Plenty of amenities nearby. If you're ready for peace and quiet, this is the housesit for you. I had a great time at Celia's, thank you!!!
On this occasion, we only had to look after Louise. He is such a special cat! He is very kind, gentle and playful. We very quickly bonded. I think he knew we know that he is more than just a cat. He certainly can sense things. Every morning he greeted us with such a love. He certainly loves his garden, he was in and out preferring to be around us. Pauline and Jeremy have a large comfortable home where we found everything that was needed for a fantastic stay. Our bedroom was lovely with a comfortable bed. The location is perfect. Maybe a little bit fewer cars passing outside the road would be nice but this is the convenience for you, everything is nearby. We loved the fact it is a short walk from the beach. East Devon is a beautiful place, with a lot to offer, wonderful walks, and stunning beaches. We are so lucky to be able to spend some time in this beautiful place with gorgeous Louise. Helen & Gary were completely helpful. We were in communication before the sit, knew all about the dogs, which are lovely and very good looking, and felt completely at home. The house and area are really special, beautiful architecture, niche shops, and a great place to walk the dogs. We could not have asked for more. If you want to see the the heart of England in the company of two lovely dogs, you couldn't do better than this. We had a great time. Thanks chaps.
Natasha was an excellent pet-parent, so easy to communicate with and very friendly. Very grateful she trusted us with her first time on THS. Coby was the best companion. Great around other dogs and people, absolutely in love with his tennis ball! He was also happy to hang out at home with us and relax. We would house sit again for Natasha and her family any time!

Perfect secure field for my VERY reactive rescue dog! This is the BEST enclosed field in the area for my boy. We private hire the field here as (unlike some other private fields) he can’t see or hear any people, dogs or surrounding livestock! The only thing is there is fast traffic nearby but as it’s a constant noise, it doesn’t affect him and we can keep him in the first 2 fields so he’s not as close to the traffic. It’s completely safe as there’s no way of him escaping. There are 3 fields so unlikely to get bored and has agility equipment that can be used to train them 😃 Pawsome days is Lucas’ happy place to run free without fear 😃
Would definitely recommend Pawsome Days as doggy daycare! Our Toffee goes twice a week and she loves it! I know they look after dogs so well and I appreciate the training they give. I love the festive activities they organise, like Santa photos, Halloween dress up week and photoshoot or the lovely mother's day and father's day card we received (with Toffee's paw print!). The pancakes or Easter egg hunt must have been a lovely treat for the doggies too! Toffee gets picked up from our house (as we live in the close area) and dropped off even if we're not home. This is the only daycare we've tried but I wouldn't change it for the world! Do give Pawsome Days a try, your pooch will thank you ❤️
Highly recommend Pawsome Days Kirstie and the team are absolutely amazing. They all take great care looking after our cockapoo Malcolm 🐾 who can't wait to be picked up in the morning, this is him looking out of the window waiting patiently 😁 and a couple more enjoying his day. The staff at Pawsome Days are awesome!! My beautiful Betty goes to their daycare and she has benefited so much from the experience that she is growing from a very socially anxious puppy into a confident adolescent. My Oscar attended Pawsome Days 5 days a week for almost 2 years and he loved every single minute of it - he eagerly waited by the door every day for pick-up. Everyone on the team is friendly and professional, and they all clearly love what they do. We had to leave the daycare due to moving away, but I wish we didn't have to. Kirstie & the team are amazing!! Always doing their best (above & beyond) for the pooches & always making days fun & interactive. I have the happiest Cockapoo thanks to the team. Mabel has been at Pawsome Days since she was a young puppy. She absolutely loves it, you can tell the moment the van pulls up and her tail wags like it’s about to drop off. Unlike most daycares they pick up and drop off, which means we can go to work without worrying about her being home alone all day. The staff are fab, they really get to know all of the dogs and it’s like a little extended dog family. I’d recommend Pawsome Days 100%

Our precious goldie Jackson has been going to Pawsome Days since he was 4 months old (now 3 years old). Alongside beaches, ice cream and rolling in grass, Pawsome Days is one of his favourite things. Kirstie and the team care for him as if he is their own boy. They plan lovely sweet things: agility courses, bubbles, training, and the best photoshoots. Going to Pawsome Days has made a huge difference to Jackson's ability to communicate with other dogs: he can now read dogs' body language. He is such a sociable and happy soul, and I put that down to the gentle, kind care of the Pawsome Days staff. I cannot recommend them enough. They are genuinely like family ❤️
Pawsome Days are an amazing Doggie Daycare Service! Five stars isn’t enough in my book. We would be lost without their support for dog cover during the work week, holidays and weekends. The team really care about dogs and their welfare which means a lot. Before we found them, we had spent a considerable amount of time training our dog and it was so good to see that attending Pawsome Days only further improved what we had started with her behaviour and training. Also Kirstie (being a veterinary nurse by background) and Lauren have been an absolute legends with helpful advice, especially when our dog was in season for the first time! Cannot overstate how great these guys are 🙂 Ten stars in our book!!

These kennels were highly recommended to us, and our 18 month old cocker spaniel really enjoyed his first kennel experience there. We are very happy with the way it is run, the security for the dogs and the care with which they look after our furry friends! So much so, he has just been for another visit! Now we highly recommend them too!
Our dog boarded for the first time. I came to pick our dog up and they had obviously spent time to get to know him and learnt his personality. He came home as a happy dog and they were so flexible to fit in with a family emergency. Couldn’t ask for more
Security of fencing is good, but you're not allowed to look round the kennels, even completing the booking forms I was made to stand outside in the rain! My collie came back nervous and smelling dreadful, she didn't have a great time. Never use them again!
We have been very impressed with the excellent care provided for our 3 dogs. Everybody is very friendly and they clearly care about the dogs and give them personal attention. Security is good with excellent fencing and gates and secure handover facilities. The dogs have come home looking very well and very happy. I would not hesitate to recommend the kennels and will definitely use them again.
My first time using any kennel for my dog Bailey. Very happy with the facilities. The owners and staff are very professional and put your mind at ease. Bailey has been very well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate in using farmhouse kennels again. Highly recommend.

Roxy absolutely loves coming to stay at Farmhouse Kennels! As soon as we arrive she jumps out of the car and in. Her reactions tell me that she is happy there and obviously well cared for. We have tried other kennels when Farmhouse were fully booked but she didn’t seem as happy as when she is here. Would highly recommend!
Excellent from the start, from initially visiting we knew this kennel was the right one for Spanner. We originally booked for both of our dogs to stay but sadly spanners companion passed away the week before, when we explained this to owner she was so understanding and i have no doubt she gave him some extra attention. Would definitely recommend to friends & family, spanner will be coming to stay again soon. Thank you!

Rachel has looked after our Cockerpoo Woody on several occasions over the past few years and quite honestly he loves going to stay with her. We get regular updates whilst we're away with photos and its clear he's having a great time with the other dogs. She's always very thorough and professional and ensures that the animals that she has in her care are harmonious together. Its great to have peace of mind to know that he's being looked after so well. We can't speak highly enough of Rachel and the care she provides.

Absolutely flawless service. We had a holiday to Florida and needed someone to come and feed our old cat twice a day whilst we was away. Service was great, communication was fantastic, kept us updated with photos. Whilst we was away we got delayed coming home and had to stay an extra 2 nights because of a hurricane. Was not a problem extending the service to carry on feeding our cat. I can't recommend this company enough. If you need a service they offer, don't think about it, just contact them and book. 5 star service. Thank you 💙😻
Honestly, Rachel has changed my life. My Assistance dog wasn't getting walked as much as he should, so we found these. She focuses on my dogs needs during the walk making it dog focused and allowing him to decompress. She has respected my wishes in terms of not letting him play with other dogs other than ones he knows. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited in the morning to go, she's so amazing with him and I can't recommend them enough.
Rachel has fed our two cats Rocket & Dixie on a number of occasions and has always looked after them incredibly well. She gives us peace of mind whilst we're away, both in terms of the cats & also our property, ensuring it's left clean & tidy. She gives regular updates about the cats and provides pictures/video which is lovely to see. Nothing is ever too much to ask. I would highly recommend her services.
RM Pet Care are fantastic! Rachel & Mark care deeply about the animals in their care. My Rommie rescue is very nervous around new people & Rachel spent the time getting to know her. This is invaluable for our sensitive souls & my dog absolutely adores both her & Mark! Highly recommended.
Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful attitude towards myself and my wife. My dog came back in such an awful state we actually thought we would need to take him to the vets. Apparently another dog viciously attacked him and left him with a severed ear. The owner was damn right rude and aggressive. Would not recommended to anyone whom care she their pet.
Rachel has been doing pop ins and walks for our dog since she was a little pup, and is absolutely brilliant. She is extremely trustworthy, sends photos and updates and gives our dog so much love! It is really refreshing to see someone really love what they do. Even more so, the tail wags when we’ve seen Rachel on the street are probably more that what we’d get shows a lot!
Couldn't recommend Rachel enough! Our dog always has a waggy tail when he sees her and we feel so confident that he is being well looked after when out on his walks. He's also boarded with her, we get regular photo updates and her communication has always been great.
Claire was brilliant we can't thank her enough, she gave Redd a home from home while we were away.We did worry Redd might not want to come home with us he was having so much fuss from Claire and lots of play with Claire's other guests. Claire does a fantastic job of day care and holiday stay overs! My dogs will be there for their holiday again this year! Nothing seems to be a problem, late notice for walks etc are accommodated whenever possible and the dogs always have a great time! Claire keeps you updated with photos and messages to let you know they’ve settled in and all is well. It’s a home from home setting which is a bonus for my dogs! All round a great service which I would highly recommend 👍👌

Mar 24 Another fabulous stay at Bruno's Dog Hotel! My two cavaliers settled very well with Claire and the other pups. They were all a very friendly bunch of pups and great to see they them all getting on so well. They went on some lovely walks and some off lead time in a secure field too. Claire does a fantastic job of caring for them all. Looking forward to our next visit! May 23 My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels had a lovely stay with Claire, Jet and the other holiday pups! One of my pups had never stayed away from home and Claire did an amazing job of developing a bond with her so she felt comfortable and happy. It really is a hotel for dogs! Thank you Claire x
Our Cocker Spaniel Charlie had a great week with Claire at Bruno's Dog Hotel, she looked after him brilliantly - he loves fuss and cuddles and Claire was happy to give him plenty of both. Bruno's is definitely a home from home experience for visitors, but for Charlie in our case at least, he had the added bonus of other dogs to play and spend time with which he loves too. Our dog was diagnosed with condition not long before he was due to stay at Bruno's, but after one phone call with Claire, she took it in her stride and was very happy to manage the situation and give him his medication, it was no problem at for her. This was a huge relief for us and we were very thankful. Claire also gave us updates during his stay which gave us added peace of mind. Thank you Claire for looking after Charlie so well, we really appreciate all you do for your visitors. For anyone looking for a truly wonderful, safe and caring place for your dog to have a holiday of their own, we thoroughly recommend Bruno's Dog Hotel
Our little dog Freya had a wonderful day at Bruno's hotel. Claire kindly fitted us in as we were on our hols and couldn't take the dog to visit Stoneywell. Claire obviously has a good way with dogs and is set up well at her beautiful home with all a dog could need. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Claire has looked after our puppy on several occasions. We couldn’t be happier with Claire’s professionalism, care and attention. Silky absolutely loves being with Claire, Bruno and Jet (and the other furry visitors!) and is spoilt with love and attention during her stay. Claire keeps in touch and has always been so accommodating to meet our needs. We wouldn’t trust many people to look after our puppy but we don’t ever worry when she is with Claire. Highly recommend. Brunos dog hotel is just wonderful. I leave Marley here knowing he will be treated as one of the family and have the best time with all his doggy pals. It makes me so happy to see him happily run inside and to see him playing. Would highly recommend Claire, Bruno and Jet to anyone.
Claire is an absolute angel. My husband and I suffered an accident and were unable to walk our lively spaniel. Claire stepped in and made sure Fudge had plenty of exercise and a huge amount of fun. Fudge adores Claire and she looks after him so well. I cannot recommend more highly.
We tried a local kennel and our dog (cockapoo) chewed on the bars so much he got an infection so clearly that wasn't for him. So then tried Bruno's. Lovely service very reasuing and looked after our dog really well and accommodated for his unique needs. Even sent a couple of photos while he was visiting and sent him back with a mini report card which is a lovely touch.
Cannot speak highly enough of Paws at the Moors, I couldn't imagine sending my dog anywhere else. The care of the dogs is second to none and my boy absolutely loves going each week! Caroline is just wonderful and her love of what she does is evident in every element of her doggy day care
Our Cockapoo started going to Paws at the Moors around 6 weeks ago and from the first contact with Caroline the whole experience has been brilliant. We know he's going to be looked after and run around all day to completely tire himself out. He falls fast asleep as soon as he gets home. I couldn't recommend Paws at the Moors and Caroline enough.
Beau loves her visits to Paws at the Moors. We only need to say Caroline's name and she gets excited 😀 She comes home exhausted and sleeps for most of the evening! Great price, amazing dedication to care and the invoice at the end of the month makes life easy for a busy household. Anyone looking for doggy care should firmly consider Paws at the Moors!
Paws at the moors are AMAZING, absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for daycare services. Our dog goes two days a week and loves Caroline, he is so comfortable with her, there isn’t anyone I would trust more to look after him. I know he’s had a great day of exercise and care in a safe environment whilst socialising with other dogs. Absolutely fantastic!
My little pooch goes 3 days a week since Caroline started up! She is amazing with dogs and my little one absolutely loves her. This gives my coco a full day of exercise while I am working and not worrying about her alone, she socialises with all the other dogs while having the time of her life. Couldn’t recommend this day care service enough!
Our two dogs go to the Moors! One of our dogs is still quite nervous and Caroline has been amazing! We couldn’t ask for a better setting and we feel at ease when our dogs are away!
Paws at the Moors are brilliant! She is knowledgeable about dogs and really cares. Very fortunate to have found her and Oakley really likes her too!
I couldn’t recommend paws at the moors enough, I knew our gsd would be well looked after and he really was. I received regular photos and updates on how he was getting on and when i picked him up I don’t think he wanted to actually leave!
Ali is simply brilliant! Our puppy adores her and so do we. Her motto of your pup being part of the family is 100% how it feels when she starts to work with you. She is reliable, friendly and super positive. She has helped us with getting our very shy and unsure puppy very confident and used to other dogs, people and new situations. We have seen huge improvements in our dogs temperament in the short time Ali has worked with her. She has also shown us how to help our dog with unwanted behaviours and that is invaluable. Her grooming is also AMAZING! 😃
We have been using Ali for almost 5yrs now and in all that time she has continued to be invaluable to me & my fur family. She is wonderful with all animals and her care & professionalisms are second to none. She is a fantastic groomer as well as reliable walker & boarder for when wherever I’m away. I wouldn’t send my dog Milo anywhere else. Can’t recommend Ali enough, But most importantly Milo adores her and is always super excited to see her, I think that says it all! Thank you Ali x
Ali has had our dogs since they were puppies, she has been amazing with all of them and I’d happily give Ali 75%credit for how they have turned out. Not only is she a good reliable dog walker she is also a very good trainer. She has helped us massively. 5 star review she is definitely worth every penny
Ali was a godsend for us. We had puppies over the Lockdown period and when we came out of Lockdown they weren’t socialised and very cautious about people and fellow dogs. Dog walking was not a pleasant experience. Ali initially took my twin puppies for a walk with her ‘easy going’ dogs to see how mine would react. Within a very short period of time the puppies behaviours changed dramatically and their personalities began to emerge. Ali is reliable, trustworthy, flexible and has a genuine passion for all of her dogs she walks. She takes the puppies to all different places for a walk/runabout and encourages them to interact with dogs that are unknown to them. I would fully recommend Ali as a dog walker.
Little Pet Paws was great in supporting me with my dog Holly who I had been struggling with on walks and also recal. Ali was amazing and took Holly for a walk along with me so I could learn the skills to best support Holly. She was great at explaining how to respond positively to Holly's behavior. It was great to learn from Ali, and also ask questions along the way. Ali was brilliant at explaining and she was also able to ask me questions to understand the reason behind Holly's behaviour. I have gone from a really anxious dog walker to feeling really confident on our walks. Holly is already a different dog on our walks.
My lab puppy Willow loves going on walks with Ali. My pup has gained so much confidence in the car and being with other dogs. Plus, Ali posts photos of her walks on FB so you get to see all the fun they have been having! Highly recommend!
Ali was brilliant helping us train our Mini Schnauzer when she was a puppy. She gave us good advice on off lead training and the issues we had with Pippa pulling when out walking with her. Pippa is now 3 and she still loves going on walks with Ali, which had helped with her socializing with other dogs.
Ali has walked both of my dogs since they were puppies. She’s more than just a dog walker, she cares for my dogs like they are her own and there aren’t many people I would trust to look after them. My dogs wait for Ali to come each day and when they return they are nicely tired. If you are looking for some one not just to walk you dog but also to care about them look no further, you’ve found her.
Our pride and joy, Wilfred, is definitely treated like one of the family by Ali; she dotes on him and has supported him to develop excellent behaviours. Wilfred loves his time with Ali, enjoying both walks in a range of lovely settings and socialising opportunities with other dogs. Ali is very responsive to attempts at contact and will always endeavour to accommodate our changing needs, including having Wilfred to stay with her at short notice. We trust Ali implicitly and would highly recommend her; there is no one better in Charnwood!
Ali has been walking Stanley since he was a very cautious puppy who found the world outside his home rather overwhelming. Ali helped us build his confidence and mixing with the rest of the Little Pet Paws family assisted with socialisation Almost two years on he is a very happy and friendly dog who cannot contain his enthusiasm when Ali comes to pick him up - Stanley adores her - I cannot recommended Ali more highly.
Left our 4 dogs at Roughstones whilst we went on holiday & they were well looked after. They hadn't put on weight n were in good, clean, freshly washed condition when we picked them up. The price was very reasonable & we would definitely use Roughstones again in the future.
Left my cat on a Thursday with her food in labelled bags for each day am and pm. Collected on Tuesday morning and 3 bags were still untouched. 1 was for that morning which was fine as I collected her just after opening and she hadn't yet been fed but that still means that she had missed 2 meals over the weekend or had been given the wrong food which considering she is on a specialist diet is awful. Also when I dropped her off the cat next to her had 2 dried out/old poos on the floor which looked like they must have been there for at least a day. Will not be using this cattery again.
Wow what a fantastic place and staff we have got a sharpae cross who is highly strung and gets anxious we were let down by family day before we were due to fly out on holiday Roughstones juggled things about to accommodate us and we are so glad we found them after 16 days we picked our jack up and he was happy to see us and he was in excellent condition obviously looked after and cared for we would recommend Roughstones to anyone and it is very competitive on prices Thanks girls keep up the fantastic work Scott &Kerrie Nixon

We have been using Roughstones for almost 10 years now and never had an issue. Our two dogs are always pleased to visit on their holidays and are always returned to us happy and clean. Prices for boarding are also very reasonable. Have done and will continue to recommend to others. Thanks to all at the kennels for looking after Dotty and Beau! 🙂
Having read through previous reviews and talking with the kennels before booking, I thought this was the right place to leave our dogs. I am so happy we did, as they have obviously been looked after well and came out to us in very good condition. The food was all used up so glad to see they’ve been eating and definitely nice to know there is somewhere we can now 100% trust. Thank you Roughstones for looking after Oreo and Betsy while we were away for the week on holiday!
My 2 dogs stayed this week for 4 night but wouldn’t use again. Bedding was wet when I picked them up. I also gave some medication for my husky which is expensive but the remaining tablets weren’t given back to me in the bag when I picked dogs up. Just felt a lack of interest and attention to detail when I dropped off/picked up unfortunately
Sorry for a bad review. But I picked my dog up depressed and she had lost weight. For saying it was only one week, I would say that's bad. They did not let her out with other dogs. (Said it was a risk to mix them, even though I saw several dogs in the same cage). I think she was just in a cage all day. With minimal walks. I will not send her back. Staff seemed nice, though.
Great kennels!! The staff are so friendly and helpful and my dogs happily trot into the kennel enclosure without a look back. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone xx
Been boarding our dogs here for four years and always had a positive experience.Girls are all Lovely and my dogs love going there for a holiday.This time we only boarded Kipper as our holiday accommodation allowed one dog and when we drove into the kennels Poppy was so excited to see the place she wanted to stay too! Kipper was well looked after and I can always leave my dogs here without any worries as it’s the dogs holidays also.
We have boarded our dog with End cottage now 3 times. First over night and all day, 2nd time was just day boarding and we recently boarded her for 3 nights and 4 days. Our dog Luna absolutely loves going to stay with Helen and Tony. The level of care they give is amazing and I can't recommend them enough. She comes back looking amazing and always has a spring in her step. Thank you for always managing to fit Luna in and Luna says she will be back soon. ❤️

Great kennels, heated beds, fantastic staff. Bailey is always happy to go for a visit and he's happy and healthy when he comes home. Fabulous!
Best kennels we have used, our rescue dog is very nervous and has had some difficulty with new people and places, but he has come back happy from every visit to End Cottage. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else now, highly recommend.
Took our dog Delta there for the first time, we were a little nervous as the last time she was in kennels she didn't do so well, but she was great here, the staff are very friendly and really know their stuff! She came back happy and healthy and she'd had a nice groom while she was with them too! 10/10
We were looking for a kennel to leave our dog when we left for a holiday. We found End Cottage Kennels and decided to take a chance. They had pretty good reviews so we weren't really worried. When we got to the kennel, we were greeted by a very accommodating staff and led us to where our dog, Alphonse will be staying. It was a great room (not a cage), where he had a bed and a television that was on 24/7. We brought Alphonse's bed, food and water bowl - which was totally optional because the kennel will provide everything - even the food. Being dotting dog parents, we decided to bring his stuff. The kennel had a great schedule for Alphonse while he was staying there. He had scheduled walks, he was fed according to our instructions, and a lot more. Now we have a trusted place to leave our Alphonse whenever we leave for holiday. The staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend!

Great service. It was a first time for my dog to stay elsewhere and I worried how he will settle. He seemed happy when I collected him. Had no issues going for walks, taking medication. I would definitely use your services again. Thank you
Wow, what a wonderful, friendly and caring place. My dogs were looked after well and were fit and healthy after their holiday. One dog is blind and diabetic, which was no problem for them to give insulin twice per day. I cannot recommend enough. VW fans too 👍👍
