We very much enjoyed our Christmas house sit with Reggie the fabulous rescue dog. Lisa and Sach are very loving owners who have provided Reggie with a grand home and lifestyle. Their residence is extremely comfortable, with every possible convenience and tech innovation, including the ultimate in kitchen appliances - an Aga!! Large rear garden populated with borders, shrubs and trees that will prove an oasis in summer months for evening meals al fresco. Reggie was a joy to take on walks, very enthusiastic and loves meeting people. In summary, this is a highly recommended house sit and one to which we would happily return in the future!
This was a memorable sit. I had a great time looking after Phlotus and Tortellini, both are very easy pets. Phlotus is sweet, charming, smart and so full of love. He is soft as a Teddy bear, an enjoyable company. The house is beautiful, huge, and full equipped. I was so comfortable in it. Grizzie and Dave are welcoming, easy-going hosts and helpful throughout. We loved our time in Colleen's and Nicholas' house! It was a pleasure to meet them. They stayed in touch with us, offered to pick us up at the train station and welcomed us warmly with delicious treats. They also helped us with a lot of information to do our roadtrip. Their house was really cozy, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having meals in the backyard and going to the park in front of the house for walks with Ava and Diesel. These two are so lovable and sweet! They made us company all the time and had a lot of fun with us going for walks. It was sad to say goodbye! The house is also really well located at the Blue Mountains, with lots of walks and waterfalls to see neaeby. We had an incredible time and we would definitely recommend them! Hope to see you again.
I absolutely adore my sit at Amanda's! Amanda and Steve are absolutely lovely, and provided me with all of the information I needed for the sit. If I had any questions, they were just a text away and always responded quickly. Bandit is an absolute sweetheart and such a joy to watch! I would highly recommend this sit! Cristina is a wonderful host. She allowed me to meet Alvin and Tomatillo before the sit to see if we all would be a great fit. She also left me instructions and she was always available if I had an questions. Alvin and Tomatillo are the cutest cats, they have a lot of energy and they are full of character. I really enjoyed being their sitter. Anyone sitting for them will have a ball. They are always down to play and they are full of affection. I can't wait to sit for them again. 🙂🙂
We had a great time house sitting at William's property! What an amazing home, packed with character and stunning grounds. We feel so lucky to have stayed here. Bonnie and Rosa are 2 of the most affectionate dogs we ever looked after, they were our little shadows and loved any opportunity for a cuddle! Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.

Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. I don’t leave my dogs often, because they need extra care and they are older dogs, but I went out of town for a week, Daryl sent pictures to show me how good they we’re doing .He made feel worry free. I gave him medicine to make sure that the dogs had to take every day. He made sure that was done and he was great!!, also was on time when I dropped my dogs off. I thought I was making the best decision for my pets when I took my cane Corsos to Darryl . I dropped them off . I was met by Darryl he’s pretty nice personality my male is 2 yrs old and didn’t like him at all but he insisted that he stays a young lady that lives near him came up and my male attached to her quickly . I appreciate that I had a place to take them what I don’t appreciate is being called saying my 6 mos old female is throwing up while I was out of town. Then was told on the third day did she eat a blue cloth of some sort? I ask to so me a picture Darryl said he tossed it . My male is shaking his head a lot and my female I was told wasn’t eating so their home and was drinking so much water for about 20min back and forth my male is sleeping and my female is drinking like crazy and she is also eating I feel fleas biting he had my dogs and his drinking out of a small bowl . How sad. I will never return.

Lulu was just a puppy when i got her from the rescue center. After a year of working at home, i’d begun a new position and didn’t want to keep lulu home alone all day long. A friend referred me to Darryl. He has been Heaven sent! I was having some trouble getting lulu fully trained and on a schedule. Darryl helped so much with all of the things we needed. Lulu is happy! She gets excited when we arrive. The atmosphere is clean, calm and controlled. There are lots of “puppy friends” for her to engage with. Darryl remains professional yet personable and he definitely seems to have a great rapport with other owners. Pricing is very affordable and the environment is welcoming. Thanks so much!! We’re going to continue using this service.

I wish there was a -1 rating!!! I have been a dog owner for roughly 13 years, and I've never experienced this level of incompetence EVER! I have boarded my dog in Atlanta, MD, DC, and VA over the past 12.7 years. This "business" was referred 2 me by a colleague, but after my initial visit, I wanted 2 back out but was locked in because of a family vacation during Xmas. Upon arrival, he was late, and the house (feels like his mother's house) reeked of weed. No judgment becuz it was legal, but he could have waited until I left. He said he was/is an Animal Care Techician, but I would argue that the certificate should be rescinded! I gave care instructions that were not followed. When my dog returned, he was sullen. I plan to file a complaint w/ the BBB in his county. Oh, and I forgot, he didn't return certain items and tried 2 charge me a fee 2 mail them to me. DO NOT TAKE UR PET TO HIM!!!

Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!
Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

Our dogs are French Bulldogs and they have special needs. Chris and team did a great job with them and the dogs loved them. I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.
Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.
I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!
The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!
We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. We are so very happy with their service and highly recommend Saving Grace.
I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! I don't know what I would do without a neighborhood petsitting group like this one. Very easy to drop off my keys before leaving town and they take care of everything. We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!

I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.
DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. The owner Grace is some gross right winger living in the 1950s. She didn't respect my pronouns and mocked instead, saying she "doesn't care".

Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.
Elise is so wonderful with our kitties. It is amazing to know they are in good hands when we are out of town - she's a great communicator, incredibly sweet, and responsible!

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. C-PUP provides just that. They are incredibly professional, well-organize, thorough and meticulous when it comes to understanding what your pet needs for care. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. Shannon (owner) is very professional, thorough in interviewing dog(s) owner(s), getting detailed information on what the needs and desires are of owners and pets!!! All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.
The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. We had a wonderful experience with Alexandria Pet Care and are very pleased with their services! We left our cats in their care for five days during a holiday weekend, during which we got updates for each visit and were able to see the times they visited, all of which were within timeframes requested. They also sent cute pictures and went above and beyond in every way. They provided excellent care and we came home to a lovely journal documenting their visits and funny ways our cats behaved. Alexandria Pet Care has been so helpful for our dog. We scheduled 4 in home one-on-one sessions for our newly adopted puppy last year and it was so helpful for her. She was reactive towards other dogs and people but after just one session our dog made so much progress. Alex, the trainer, also taught us the best way to help with her anxiety and how to continue making progress with her after our 4 sessions were completed. Alex has also been helpful answering questions via email since our sessions have ended, and at no charge.

Ruthcarol and Colin are the best - we use them for boarding for our two pups and know they are always in great hands. We have a 13-year-old 9 lb Maltese and a 4-year-old 90 lb German Shepherd. Our mini Schnauzer began going to doggie daycare at Besties LLC when she was about six months old. At the time she was very temperamental and we worried about her socialization skills. We can see the difference now. Although she was hesitant at first, she loves doggy day care now and she is always excited to see RuthCarol! They love and take good care of our fur baby while we are working.
Our 110 pound Golden Retriever, Farley, has been staying with Ruthcarol and her family ever since our former dog walker let us know about Beasties at least seven years ago. Farley loves to go there. All we have to do is mention a visit to the "doggie hotel" and Farley goes nuts, spinning in circles. When he gets picked up for his visits with Ruthcarol, he doesn't even look back. Pure joy for him and worryfree time away from our pup for us. Highly recommend Ruthcarol and Beasties!!

Quality Time pet sitting cared for my indoor and outdoor cats and were wonderful! I will certainly use them again. Marie and Rob are so friendly and care deeply about animals. Fuzzy Critters has been a life saver! Our dog Maple absolutely loves going there. She starts whimpering when she realizes we are getting close and then bounds out of the car to run into Jessica's yard, leaving me in the dust. She loves hanging out with all the other doggies and still being in a home environment with access to the outside. Highly recommend!

I started taking my dog, Missy, here during the pandemic and she LOVES it. Whenever we get close to the house, Missy starts jumping and getting super excited and almost busts out of the car door! I love leaving her with Jess because they treat Missy like one of their own furry family members with cuddles and playtime - and that means a lot to me.
