This was my first pet sit for THS. Communication was excellent from Kathryn, answered all my "first time" questions. Brodie could not have been any sweeter. He is a loving, mellow pooch - I knew he felt comfortable with me when he would roll on his back for a tummy rub. He showed me around his neighborhood, where he liked to walk and sniff. Kathryn's apartment is in a very nice area, very quiet. Legacy Park down the road is really lovely. I hope I can sit Brodie again in the future.
Victoria's home is spacious, warm and comfortable. Her home is in a seaside village with two pubs, a shop/post office within walking distance. Communications and changeovers were hassle-free. The highlight of Victoria's house-sit were Dora and Freda, her lovely dogs. They were an absolute delight! We were spoilt for choice for walkies, many leaving from the house! We highly recommend Victoria's place to fellow house-sitters.
Carly is a wonderful person and Lola and Millie were an absolute joy to look after. Carly welcomed us warmly into her spotlessly clean, comfortable and modern apartment in Dun Laoghaire. It was a pleasure to be there and we highly recommend Carly and her two beautiful cats as a great housesit. It’s a good area to get around on foot with easy access to supermarkets and to the DART for access to Dublin. We are generally quiet and calm people… aside from a fondness for Netflix on the big screen… Millie in particular really responds well to gentleness and peace and came for brushing and love early in the sit - but she is a nervous puss - might not suit a sitter who talks loudly/plays radio/tv constantly/argues with partner/bustles around a lot. This in no way reflects badly on Carly or Millie (or Lola for that matter) - but more suited for people with a calmer energy. Great housesit.
It was a real delight to have been able to look after Erica and John's lovely home and garden in a rural setting on the outskirts of Lithgow. Of particular joy was their beautiful ginger cat, Findlay, or as we came to know him, Finn. While , as expected, it took a few days for him to warm to his new servants, we soon experienced his affections. We particularly enjoyed watching him explore the garden after we had harnessed him to his long lead and let him out into the fresh air. Overall, a VERY pleasant Sit in a lovely setting. Patti’s home was beautiful and comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely for walking and the view from the house is inspiring! I enjoyed caring for the numerous plants, both indoors and outdoors in the gardens. Patti communicated everything that I needed to know and she was accessible and easy to reach by text during my sit. Noa is a beautiful little cat. She warmed up to me once she knew that I respected her and would give her space. She loves to be talked to and to play with her toys. By the end my time there, we were buddies and she kept me company throughout the day while I worked on my laptop. I would happily return to take care of Noa anytime!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Emma is a wonderful person and an exceptional host. Her attention to every detail of my sit was above and beyond. She is kind and considerate and ensured I was looked after upon arrival and throughout the entire sit. Emma was generous with her time and local knowledge and tips on Dubai life. Emma ensured I had breakfast on arrival and prepared a lovely home cooked meal with leftovers for me for the next day! I was totally spoilt and I felt instantly comfortable in her lovely apartment. The apartment is equipped with all you could need and there is a lovely roof top pool and gym on the top floor. Emma was clear with her communication prior to the sit and was available every day during the sit for any questions and even had bottled water delivered! And now to the most important part of the sit, the gorgeous Levi and Dave. It took two days for the little fur babies to stop hiding! But then they really became the stars of the sit! They are fun and cuddly and have big personalities! I really miss them and saying goodbye was hard as they are super affectionate and highly entertaining! If you are lucky enough to sit for Emma, Levi and Dave i guarantee you will not be disappointed! 🐾🐾❤️😻😻
