We have just returned from a week of absolute fun with Sherman and Tinkerbell. Sally, Bryan and the boys have a lovely home, located within easy walking distance from supermarkets, shops a nice pub and Winchester city centre. We had a lovely greeting from the family on arrival and Sally had prepared a comprehensive list of information for us making the whole sit super easy. Sherman is super loving and although a big boy he is a big softie, clearly very well trained and just wants to play all day, he certainly enjoys a good long walk and travels well in a car if you want to explore walks away from the home. Tinkerbell is a lovely little girl who will socialise with you on her terms, she will let you know when she wants a tickle and has a beautiful little purr. Both babies were super easy to care for and Sally left very clear instructions regarding feeding and medication regimes which left two very content pets. Sally’s home was really comfortable with all the conveniences you could desire to make your stay great. We would highly recommend this lovely family to sit for.
Scout was a great fur bubby to spend the week with! She's talkative and full of energy! Amy, her owner was very helpful with every question that was presented, and everything went great!
Dotty is a beautiful dog, full of energy and really affectionate. I very much enjoyed looking after: she loves running in the parks, playing fetch and getting cuddles/sleeping next to you on the sofa. Katharina has a gorgeous flat, in a quiet street very close to Highbury tube station. The flat is modern, comfortable and has everything you may need during your stay. Communication was easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend staying at Katharina's flat to spend time with awesome Dotty. :)
Amy and Bill were very welcoming and shared great details about their home and the kitties. Sealy is a character with the way he rolls around in the family room in the evening. He has many favorite spots to hang out. Tempe is very shy and we only got to pet her the last two days. We had never stayed in West Seattle before and loved the area especially Aliki Beach. You can’t go wrong with a pet sit for Amy and Bill!
Kevin is great! I had a wonderful weekend sitting for Sonya and Joe and looking after Kevin. He is a very sweet, affectionate and low maintenance cat and the perfect companion. He needs medicine to be put in his mouth twice a day and doesn‘t like it but he was patient and took it without fighting back. Joe showed me the apartment the night before the sit started and he was so nice and helpful and explained everything I needed to know. The apartment was very clean and in a great location to explore Portland. Both Sonya and Joe were great to communicate with, they were very helpful with some recommendations and quick to respond. All in all this was a very pleasant sit and I can highly recommend it!
I have been sitting for Mákos, Pötty and Csipa shortly after taking care of Kata's parents pets, and my short time there run very fast. All cats have distinct personalities and ways to communicate, and all are very sweet: Mákos (darker than the poppy seeds its name comes from) is elegant and independent, Pötty very sweet and curious, and Csipa playful and cuddly. Kata and Laci's house in Harlösa is close to a wonderful viewpoint from which sunrise and sunset are amazing, and Harlösa itself is in the middle of the most wonderful countryside in Skåne.
