Helen's exceptional communication, friendliness, and easy-going nature made us feel at ease. Her home is something special. The location in Mimbres Valley proved to be a hidden gem, offering breathtaking trails right behind the home and stunning views. We were treated to the beauty of nature with frequent deer sightings, making each walk an enchanting experience. The birds were a delight to watch from the screened in porch. The nearby winery was a fun treat on the weekend. Esperanza, the owner, was lovely! A scenic 40-minute drive took us to Silver City, a charming destination. Exploring City of Rocks is highly recommended as well as Faywood Hotsprings. Peaches and Bella, the resident feline companions: Peaches was the more social of the two, absolutely loved her morning pets in the warm sunshine. Her affectionate nature added a sweet touch to our mornings. On the other hand, Bella only came out before bedtime, demanding lots of love. Her snuggly and affectionate demeanor made our evenings extra cozy. Overall, our stay at Helen's with Peaches and Bella was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of a caring host, a picturesque location, and adorable feline friends created a truly memorable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this sit to anyone for delightful and heartwarming retreat.
My housesit experience for David and Emma was smooth and easy from start to finish. They are both very relaxed and generous and it was a pleasure to care for their beloved Elsa and Grace. I felt like I was welcomed into a 5* holiday experience in their idylic fairy tale setting and enjoyed every minute being there. Morris went away with David and Emma so I took care of Elsa, who is a sweet and friendly cat. She loved being by my side for strokes and grooming (she loves being groomed) and was great company throughout my stay. Grace was a breeze to care for. This is a perfect setting for retreating into nature as their home is surrounded by woodland and forestry tracks, right from their doorstep. This is some of the best of Wales and I would consider another housesit for Emma and David to be an honour. I would love to return.
Lisa has sweet Adobe home with a quaint Santa Fe feel. The house is private and has stunning mountain vista views. Just down the lane is a lovely nature path to walk the dogs. You won't see many people, except for perhaps some horse back riders. Lisa is kind, thoughtful and gives thourough instructions on how to care for her two pups. Paco, is a loving and playful Golden retriever and enjoys being close. Django is a older dog and has a more refined, mellow temperment. If you want to get him to go on a walk or do anything, he responds well to treats! I really enjoyed my stay and pet sitting Django and Paco.
Tinsley is a dream dog to walk and take care of. Marilee leaves very clear instructions. And, the house is so wonderful,and with Marilee's instructions I felt like I was so welcome to enjoy Tinsley.
I enjoyed my time with sweet Frances Rose at Lisa and Aaron's Berkeley bungalow! Lisa and Aaron are kind, easy going people, who are good communicators. Their lovely home was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful back garden, within walking distance from the shops on College Ave. I would be happy to sit again!
An excellent pet sit. Location was delightful as was the house which provides a lovely relaxing place. Pre sit Laura was welcoming and helpful. Everything was prepared pre my sit, including printed welcome guide and on arrival additional information. I agree with past sitter reviews, these boys are adorable. & well trained, Jake is a gentle, loving dog & Bentley loved play time, sitting on your lap and melting your heart with his eyes.
