Ether arrived timely and took very good care of Eva. She was communicative with us, sending us pictures and updates. There was an issue with the irrigation system that was not noticed and a number of plants and vegetables were lost. The house was also not left in the same condition it was in when we left, in terms of cleanliness, which was disappointing. We did reach out to Ether and discussed these issues and clarified expectations so that she can better address these for future sits.
If you are fortunate enough to have Anna as your sitter you will have peace of mind that your pets will be in very good hands. Anna is gentle and a natural with animals and seems to understand what they need without words. Willa, our golden retriever and Rosie, our cat were both enamored with Anna. They wanted to be near her, followed her around the house, lay by her feet or on her lap. We enjoyed Anna's company, her conversation, ideas and sense of humor. Lots of laughs! She asks good questions about the pets' needs and routines. She is very appreciative and is a compassionate person. We did not want Anna to leave!
David and Eddie are very friendly and explained Isabel's habits in great detail. This helped us to acclimatize quickly and thus create a bond with Isabel. She is simply adorable, cuddly, funny ... We loved spending time with her! We spent 2 weeks looking after Isabel in their beautiful apartment. It is conveniently located in Vancouver close to beaches, shops and restaurants. We recommend Eddie, David and Isabel 👍

I want to highlight the kindness of this family. Since I arrived, they welcomed me as if I were part of the family, with a homemade meal, they gave me a lot of love and respect, and Ananda also let me stay one more night to go on the next day to take care of the other pets. For me it is a beautiful gesture. Lastly and most importantly, Kira is the sweetest dog, super flexible and loyal. I really enjoyed staying in this house. Thank you so much !
Bridie is the sweetest dog and was such a pleasure to look after. John was so thoughtful and we had such a lovely time at his cottage. He put out hot water bottles for us, even though the house was toasty warm, we had gorgeous log fires everywhere night and the beds were super super comfy. The location is idyllic and the walks were beautiful. Thank you so much John x
Wonderful sit! Great location, great hosts and really fun cats! Chico and Romeo are the best--we miss them waking us up and entertaining us on and off all day long. Can't believe this was our first sit because it went perfectly and Elena and David were the best hosts to 'break us in' to THS. Would love to get back to this area in the future and enjoy another sit here.
As a lifelong Bronte fan, this sit was such a treat for me. Deborah and Graham are such a friendly and welcoming couple and I felt comfortable as soon as we met. They very kindly left a bottle of wine and chocs for me. The house is a good size, very cozy and in such a wonderful location with a view of Haworth and the surrounding countryside. The garden itself is enough of view to be honest and I enjoyed many a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. Millie and Bertie are wonderful - such chilled out cats to look after. The highlights for me were visiting the church and parsonage and walking up to Top Withens on a sunny day. Thanks again Deborah and Graham - I'd come back in a heartbeat if you need a sitter again :) Highly recommend to everybody but a real gem of a sit for us Bronte fans.
